A quiet out of the way county park. Serene place in nature

Small park. Mostly wooded. Good place to walk your dog.
137 acres of mostly grasslands and wetlands, but some really nice wooded (deciduous) areas, too. If you go to the left from the parking lot, its a nice, but small wooded area that doesnt go anywhere. If you go to the right, there are more wooded areas, and if you turn at the right place, you will find the grassy areas. It can be easy to get turned around on the grass paths because so much of the land looks so similar. Insects arent usually too bad here, but it is not one of the cleanest preserves as far as trash on the ground. Probably one of the most trafficked of the Washtenaw County NAPP preserves.
Perfect place for a relaxing walk.
