This is a library not a museum, although it has some small exhibits. Unlike every other President, Ford split his museum and library apart by 150 miles. For a completionist like me this is very annoying! Staff were helpful. Clean facilities. Beautiful courtyard but theres really not a lot here and unless youre looking to do all the libraries and museums I wouldnt bother coming here, unless youre looking to do research which they have huge resources for, I believe! Parking is free.

My car had a flat tire near fuller and glazier and I pulled in lot off Beal st. To get out of the way of traffic not knowing it wasn’t university property. Changed the tire in a parking spot and was in the mostly empty lot all of 4 minutes. Then I said oh I should visit this place. Well as I pull out (that’s how fast I was) a crazy security guard runs out and she says we were about to ticket and tow your car. EXCUSE ME?? It was an emergency and i was in your empty parking lot for 3 minutes!!!! Trash

Not President Fords museum, but the library. Does have some artifacts in the foyer which were very interesting. Worth stopping to check out.

A Presidential LIBRARY. Remember that the President Form MUSEUM is not here; its in Grand Rapids MI. Most people assume the two facilities are co-located, and Fords are not. As a Presidential library, this is a great facility with material, research rooms, and related space; BUT it also has some conference and meeting rooms, and theres a small amount of view-able, museum-like material as well. A Presidential library a lot like Ford himself: low-key and functional but with some nice touches that enhance things.

This was great as a short stop while in town for another reason. The facility was clean, accessible, and interesting. Lots of documents and small exhibits that were really interesting to look over. If youre interested in history at all, I would definitely recommend planning an hour to visit.

It was great to see documented, the humble sincerity of a great leader. Sometimes we get so much misconception from tv comedies that sight is lost to the true character of a man who did so much. Unselfish, and without any egotistic agenda

No one is ever here and I dont know how its called a library, because there is no place to study and there is no books. Its a small museum.
