The service was horrible. The food was average, I requested another drink and waited 15min and had to remind the waitress. Trying get the server to provide service was like pulling teeth but she had time to stop and talk her friends at another table. I do not recommend this place if youre hungry or want good service.
Four cards 250 tokens each. We spent $152 dollars occupied 2 hours some of the games very short. And some very low tickets for prizes. The prizes cost quiet a bit of tickets for a peice of candy 300 tickets. That would normally cost 2 dollars at the store. But I guess to experience the games it was pretty fun.
Food was good. Service was quite lack luster. No waters served, over 12 minutes before someone even acknowledged that were were there.Had to ask twice for condiments, and was 90% done with my food by the time they were delivered. 3/10, might go back.
It is fun place.. Like having Vegas in Alaska with games, food and drinks. Little too loud, level was over 80db so table conversations were not that fun. Getting table and food took a while and I understand they were short on staff. Food is good value if you buy token card with the meal. We had fun and will come again... but we may have a meal somewhere else.
Still a Great place to have fun and eat but they have a very limited menu now so it was a little bit of a different experience this time.
Good food. Good people. Always sanitizing the games. Great customer service.
Definitely one of the best places in Alaska to drink and have fun with friends. They have a ton of TVs and has a wide assortment of alcohol. The games might be a little pricey however you pay for the experience not the games. The prices are worth it though they have some great items such as PlayStations and Nintendo switches. the bar food isnt half bad as well
My first time there was a blast. Got to be a kid again. Some of us had that taken away. İt was beyond amazing. Loved it
Wednesday is best day to go all games are half off!
Since the owner was so kind to leave a response to my five stars I guess I will leave a review! We have been here at least six times in the last 7 months, every time is a great time! We just had a big group there a week and a half ago and Jessica was the most amazing server! Took care of all of us very well! Very impressed. Thank you, cant wait to be back!
Went to Dave & Busters today for kids birthday. Even though the mall clearly states you must wear a mask to enter, D&B is allowing people to enter without masks.I made an inquiry to the managerWho stated he refused to require masks in the establishment. I also saw no one going around cleaning the games.DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO D&B !!! They have no concern or respect for the vast majority of families who care about there health and safety. Getting every dollar they can at the expense of therr customers is there focus!!!The managers flippant dismissive attitude demonstrated his lack of concern about this huge social issue we are dealing with.
Great staff is always very helpful and they have taken as many safety precautions as they can during the covid crisis
Had a great dinner with my daughter and newborn grandson. Food was great, it was a Tuesday evening and not overly busy. Service was great! Jessica was our server and she was awesome! Made great suggestions, was quick with refills, and very sweet! A couple managers checked by the table, very nice!
Its a ton of fun. We really enjoyed the games, food, and drinks. My party size had 5 and we easily could have had more. My only comment is the greasiness of some of the joysticks. There should be a free hand sanitizing wipe station at every entrance of the food areas. Just to prevent further contamination. Also the games with joysticks could have wipes near them. OR! I can use my big brain and bring my own for comfort. Been there multiple times and will continue to utilize their services.
My wife and I enjoy coming here for a fun night out. The arcade is good clean fun, and the food is good.
The place was nice and great for games but the service we receive at the dining area was not as great as my first visit. The first visit was with my co workers, we had a really great time there and we got great service. My second visit was with my family and we waited over an hour just for food. Couple people and families sat down after us and got their food before we did. We tried to ask about an uncleaned empty table with only cups of water that fits 6 of us with an infant but none of the workers knew what was going on with the table. We had to move twice before they can have the table cleared not for us but for it doesnt have a owner anymore. We decided to move to that table. We waited for so long to get our appetizer and our waiter only came to us 4 times during the time we were there. Out of the 4 time I have to stop him 3 to get this attention. We quickly ordered and eat and before we were finish they rushed to cleaned our table before we got our check. Also I was charged twice for the appetizer because it was a rush order, at this time I was at the end of my anger with the dining area and didnt want to waste anymore time waiting for the worker. I would not recommend anyone I know to go eat here again.
Great for kids, sometimes the game a little to much
Im not one to usually give such poor reviews but I feel its important for future visitors to have a heads up. Time of visit: Saturday 4:30-8:00pm. 4 people in party.GAMES - good time - definitely a lot of little kids running around- No drinks allowed outside the dining area. Fun PrizesDINING - Slow Service - We ordered drinks, entrees and desserts. It took 2+ hours!! I finally just asked for my dessert to be brought out in a to-go container because it was taking so long & we had already paid. Food wasnt terrible. Even had some gluten free options for our friend. Drinks were very good.
The food was good, not great, but certainly edible. The atmosphere was enjoyable and our server, Carly(?) was wonderful. However, if you want to eat and play games, come after 10 PM when the kids are banished.
Loving the $10 power cards
Will revisit review after the newness wears off. Order of soup and slider burger was brought to the table as a single pulled pork style burger with different fries (so wrong on multiple counts). Was told my original order would be rushed through. Waiter then visited table much later to ask if I wanted a to go box for the item I didnt order and didnt touch, not knowing/recognizing that I had the wrong item AND that my original order had not been pushed through - I cancelled my soup at that point. And they had run out of the specific drink we were looking to get. Finally got the slider burgers and chuckled to myself when I got home to see that its simply a 4 pack of King Hawaiian Buns cut in half, a single patty laid on top of it with cheese, the other half of the rolls on top, then cut into quarters. I mean, I guess I wasnt expecting actual slider sized burgers cooked but the trick of it made me genuinely laugh. The Play side of things was impressive. Itll be interesting to see how theyre able to keep things going since its an obscenely large space with so many games to keep powered up. The Eat side..... Not so much.
We came here for my sons 7th birthday since it is similar to Chuck E Cheese but better food....Horrible decision. We should have just choked down the mouse houses cardboard pizza than waste our time here at Dave and Busters Anchorage. I called around 2 in the afternoon and I was surprised how quickly they answered the phone. (This would end up being the ONLY quick service we had during our experience.) I explained that we were coming in for a birthday party and had a large group of about 13 people and asked if I could make reservations. She said they do not take reservations and that it was open seating. Have a nice day. So we planned to meet our party there at 6pm, and perhaps this is where we went wrong. My parents arrived before us and were put on a waiting list where they text you when they are ready for you. The hostess explained to them that it was likely going to be a 45 minute wait, which we were fine with. We understand that we are a pretty large group to just show up. (After checking in to the waiting list we found out that you can go online and get put on the waiting list before arrival. THIS would have be great information for the receptionist to mention when I had called...) So we waited awkwardly at bar tables for the 45 minutes...50...after an hour my dad went and spoke with the hostess, which resulted in speaking with the manager. She explained that they had another party show up that was supposed to be 10 and had turned to 20 and that people were not leaving as quickly as they hoped. She asked if we would mind taking two booths so we could get seated, which we were fine with. Again, we understand we are a large group. So they seat us in the back corner two booths and scramble for two chairs and a highchair, which took another 20 minutes. A sweet little waitress came and got drink orders and my dad explained that both booths were part of the same party. She made her rounds for drink orders and left. At this time, the last two members of our party showed up. Another 20 minutes and she comes back with booth one drinks and turns to walk away again. My dad asked if they could get the nachos appetizer in which she agreed and turned to walked away again, not bothering to ask if anybody else wanted anything. She noticed our two extra people and took their drink orders and left. Another 20 minutes and a different waitress brought the new guests drinks and walked away without a word. Meanwhile booth two has not gotten our drinks let alone any acknowledgment from the staff other than getting our drink order. At this point we had been here for TWO HOURS and only received half of our drinks that we had ordered. One of the five drinks that table two ordered eventually showed up with the appetizer my dad ordered in the same manor as the other drinks; by a different server that dropped it off at the table and practically ran away. By this time, the kids are restless and everybody is starving. A cup got spilled on booth two and we tried to clean it up but the fancy fabric napkins just pushed the water around and made it worse. I ended up using a spit rag from my diaper bag to absorb the mess. The water sat on the table for a good 15 minutes while we were ignored in the corner until my cousin went and spoke to the manager again. This prompted the waitress to reappear, and she started to mention something about her manager talking to her when my aunt interrupted her and asked for something to clean up the (obvious) mess all over the table. She quickly went to find something. After another spill we were done. OVER THREE HOURS LATER we got up and left. We tried to be patient as we know we were a fairly large group and they were busy, but this was just absolutely a horrible experience. Its not their fault that our kids spilled drinks that added to the chaos, but we shouldnt have been shunned in the corner and forgotten about. 13 people... thats a lot of missed of food, drink, and game revenue. None of our group will be returning any time soon. Moral of the story: Dont let them waste your time too if your a large group.
Food is pretty bland and processed. I guess you could say this place is less of a scam than Chuck E. Cheese. Games are fine but usually crowded. I tried to bring some coffee from Starbucks in and they refused for me to pursue in with the coffee. I guess all they want is from us to get their gummy worm slushie or whatever, I don’t suggest coming here.
Layout was slightly confusing, with the area behind the stairs somewhat hidden. We didnt find it till the end of the night.
Alot games down. Other popular games never got chance to play due to others hogging the machines never getting off. Food over priced and not very tasty and server had be chased down couple times. On the plus side game side has extremely friendly staff and helpful. Kids had fun and always enjoy collecting toys with the tickets and the wonderful selection they carry.
This is such a great place for people of all ages. Whether you are having a kids birthday party, date night, or a night out with friends, you are bound to have an awesome time at, Dave & Busters. I especially appreciate the billiard corner.
This place is so much fun to come with the family. There are so many games to play and the food is unbelievably delicious. The only bad thing is the service is incredibly slow for food and drinks. Still worth coming here and checking it out though! We always come here when we are in Anchorage.
Family freindly setting. Lots of fun games. Foods not bad, quality and size of food portions has gone down since they opened.
Hi, just went to dave and busters with my family. We were playing around when one of their machines broke. This worker (i dont know his name) he fixed the machine and was very nice and gave us a $10 extra point on our card. Then i won a jackpot on the Kung Fu Panda game and congradulated me and gave a little foot high five. When we were redeeming our points they couldnt find the barcode for the toy so he found the toy for us. He was wearing a black mask and had a beard and long hair. If the manager/owner is reading this please tell him how great and family friendly he is. Thanks:)
Very loud, maybe have a sensory day? I felt overwhelmed with the lights and every game sound trying to fight with every other. I know thats the point, just not my thing.Staff seemed happy enough and extremely busy, hopefully they have some down time. I only saw one group of employees who seemed to be going about something with ease and taking their time.Food was passable. Definitely getting near chain fast food level. The bang bang chicken in particular stuck out at me. Not sure if it was prepared correctly, but the sauces used felt conflicting and not pleasing to the mouth. The game concept was interesting to say the least. Lots of games i have never seen before and many more i hadnt expected to see. Some of them seem buggy or a pain to try and play with a friend, example being the basketball connect 4. Both of us ended up playing against the computer when trying to play together.I am still not sure what games to play in the selection if you want to go about getting prizes, many of them seem more of a thanks for playing, insert credit to play again. For the sonic Olympics it would be nice if the arcade record was posted. I was told i got third overall, but was not given a lineup. Just that i had first in my round.
I had a work party here. Service and food was top notch. I will come back again. So, so much fun
Great games and great food but the wait for the food is long and if recommend d going in when there isn’t that much people in here unlike days where it’s packed for football games or like on special holidays.
This place is great. Wish they had better deals and wouldnt go up on items. Was saving for xbox but they went up 20,000 tickets in just a few months.
Classic Dave and Busters experience. Definitely not the cheapest day out, but was worth the fun. Wish they had DDR
Fun place to bring the family. Games are tailored for teens and adults, but there are a decent amount of games that grade schoolers can play.Go on half point Wednesday (games cost half the usual amount) to get the best bang for your buck. $30 lasted just over 2 hours for the kids.
Fun for the whole family good food great games
The games were really fun and the best part was there were no little kids running around after 10 o clock its 21 And older and you can bring your beverages around to the games you play because there is no kids allowed so your not limited to the bar area if your hanging out with your friends the new games are really fun and my favorite was the VR game!!! Thanks Dave and Busters
They need to be a little more specific about the #unlimitedcard.
Great server in restaurant. I would recommend ordering a small amount of food to see if your server is acceptable, then order more. Food was lukewarm to the point that I wonder if it was safe to eat. High end drinks were very sweet. If you dont like your mixed drinks crazy sweet, dont order cocktails.
Kids and adults will both enjoy them selves. All kinds of games. I have been in the restaurant once and i thought it was alright but it is always packed so others must love it.
Love the games and foods great. Being so busy though plan on a little extra time waiting for your drinks and food.
1st time visit. Not a bad experience. Had a little trouble with one of the machines on site but could not locate a worker in the approximate area to help. Ended up all the way at the front just to find someone for service. But they helped where they could.
Good food and fun for peoples of all ages.Very good place for a party..The staff was great... A bit spendy tho..
It was dark and I had abit of a tough time locating Womens bathroom and Exit. There should be attendants walking around, to help and direct customers ie; to bathrooms, exit, that money machine, etc. Is it possible to place age appropriate signs on some games? Signs like: Ages 7-12 or Young Teens-12 18 and mark games as easy, hard etc. I took my little 8 year old niece there and it was my first time. It wouldve helped me, which games my, little niece might enjoy playing. She knew some games. I practically had to run her to the bathroom, as it took abit of time to find it. Need bigger signs for Bathrooms, Exits and there needs to be a First Aid station. Tell your employees, when on Speaker, to talk slow, enunciate and project announcements. Overall, my niece, as well as I, had fun!
Loud, chaotic, and overstimulating!Intended as a compliment as I figured the five star rating would imply. These things are what people would want to go to this place for in my opinion, so its a huge success. Too much for me but Im a delicate introvert. My company was unbeatable though and my experience was awesome. If I never go back it will have been worth this amazing adventure. Im glad I got out and went to this new place. It is loud, chaotic, and overstimulating, but thats why people go there so its a huge success.
We had so much fun! The food was amazing and everything was affordably priced. The staff was super friendly.
Great place to have fun with your friends. Food seemed a little old by the time it got to our table, but was still tasty. Cheapest beer Ive seen in town
Fun as always!
Bartender guy was cool! Played Halo with my boyfriend.. fun night beforr the MovieAlmost had enough tickets for a pickachu
Lots of fun for any couple or family! Only warning is you can drop quite a bit of dough here. Service is usually awesome, food is great, wide variety of games to play, fair amount of tokens vs tickets won, bathrooms are clean, etc. Would definitely reccomend for a date night, birthday party or any celebration.
Kid friendly and Parent AWESOMENESS
Its has quite amazing food here and great selection of games to enjoy as well! Would go again!
The staff. Amazing. Patient. Thorough. I do not know how else to describe the type of customer service they endure. (Smiley face)
Went on a Thursday to do unlimited wings and unlimited games. Unlimited games means only the ones that are driving and shooting games. The rest, including the fighting games oh, you had to pay extra and monetarily for. When I sat down I told the waiter I wanted to start off by playing games and I will come back and order wings later which was ignored. He ordered Wings immediately for me and my son and the second they were set down at the table he ordered another round without me asking. That man by the time I was done playing my first round of games I had two orders of wings sitting on my table cold. Not only that but the wings were completely layered and smother in Buffalo sauce instead of being pan tossed as it should have been. The wings are inedible and honestly was not even close to worth spending 30 plus dollars per person that I did in order to play the games. Not worth it. If anything go on Wednesday when its half price games use the coupon to get $10 Plus on recharging your card and walk out of there without spending any money on food.
Very loud and very crazy. Although it is a fun place for mommas who are in dire need of sleep, a place for children to tire themselves out.
Decent food, Great Entertainment center fun for young adults, Great Sports Bar section, also wonderful area for parents supervised children youth entertainment activities areas, well designed private party room areas for small or large parties with catering. Professional and friendly staffing, even though staffing need more training on being More attentive and knowing all areas of Dave & Busters, not just one section of where employee are stationed at. Multitasking is very important. Great place for Fast Food,Fun Times with Family & Friends, or after work decompress Time to Laugh & Let Loose & Take Away The stresses of the Day .
This place is great for adults and children. The only thing I didnt like was that the pool tables are restricted to 21 and older. I would have really enjoyed playing some pool with my 20 year old nephew while there.
Cant taste the steak over the marinade. Ordered medium rare and got medium well as the piece was about only 1/2 thick. Philly meat was very over cooked (burnt meat) & meat was in lg. pieces too tough to bite through.Burger, chicken fingers, & fries were OK. Takes 6-8 points to play the games; 125=$23, which took my teen less than 45 minutes to run out.The food service overall was OK. ;but the food wasnt even equal to Red Robin.Hope theyre listening.
Love this place! My only concern is, a Dave and Buster’s without no Extreme drop!? We need! :D Oh!! The lady who hands are kind of inward, (not being rude, please don’t be mad) I absolutely love you! You are doing a great job and I love seeing you happy! Don’t rush yourself, you are doing absolutely fine girl!
Its a modern arcade with a full restaurant and bar. You can play classics like skee-ball, ring toss, and air hockey alongside arcade adaptations of Halo, Tomb Raider, and Ghost Busters. Before 10 pm its open to all ages, but after 10 its 21 and older and you can bring alcoholic beverages out into the gaming area.Highly recommended.
We played pool and ordered a portion of lazy fondue, 1 lightlife meat slider and a normal meat one. The food was great and the $2 coors light is always a plus!
Managers stopped by our server Brennan was great and always on top of our order. The chef delivered our food personally. Bartender came by and asked how our drinks were. Service was amazing
The food here is basic bar food, nothing extraordinary, but they have wifi, which means that while the kiddos are off playing, I can watch my shows and movies while enjoying a cocktail and an appetizer. Not too bad!
Family friendly and knowledgeable staff, very up beat. Kids had a great time.
The new bartender Natasha was great. And half price games on Wednesdays!!!
Fun for the whole family, kids play, parents relax!
1st experience appetizers and salad came after our cold entrees. Waitress kept forgetting us and served three larger groups before my husband and I, who had been sitting 20 minutes before the larger groups came in. Tried to talk to a manager but our waitress said he was too busy for us. We called the manager to inform him maybe he should look into some of the staff and told him our 0 star experience. We gave this location another chance considering it is a newer location and the 1st D&B in Alaska. Our experience was much better the 2nd time and our entrees were not cold and appetizers came very very shortly before Entrees.
Fun games, good drinks, good appetizers. Go when their promotions are on! Otherwise it can get spendy fast. Awesome date night location, staff is usually pretty great. Shootouts to Brenden! Awesome waiter.
Had the nachos and they were pretty good, lots of fun games to play with friends, played the pac-man game and did horrible lol, service was a lil slow to get to us at first, but they were very attentive after, would reccomend this place.
Its a very loud dark arcade that is cool but its way to loud anybody with disabilities that involve hearing couldnt handle this establishment unless completely deaf but can still cause a ringing sensation so I would avoid personally or on the spectrum could be set off. Other than that I feel like alot of people would like this but since I personally am losing my hearing the painful ringing made the experience unpleasant but my son was happy and my family was to even though we couldnt stay long because I couldnt handle it
Food was kinda skimpy and who ever brought out our food never returned with my requested sides hard to tell who was our server as it switched often but no check ins to see how it was ect.. games cool was having some issues but workers gave me credits
Came to Dave and Busters on Wednesday the 13th of 2019, and we decided to grab some food before we played games (like most do). We ordered 3 very simple dishes. My wife and daughter got their food but mine did not come. The waiter stated he would go get it, 10 mins later I still have nothing. I then summons his attention and ask him to cancel my order as my family had already finished their meals and had been having conversation for some time. This is the second time I have had a poor experience here. The games are great though!
Always excellent service! Clean and good food
Server was awesome. We wanted to play games while our food was being prepared. The server found us playing games. When we arrived at the table she had our food covered. No germs on my food. Thank you!
I have been disappointed both times I have gone in here. The first time was for my daughters second birthday. We took her to play games which went amazing. We sat down to eat took 20 minutes to get anyone over with menus. Ordered bar drinks and an appetizer. A different server brought us our bar drinks. We sat there for 30 MINUTES every server ignored us so we finally got up an left after waiting an hour and not even getting an order taken. The second time we were just trying to find a bathroom for my POTTY TRAINING TODDLER we had just got coffees and were going to duck in and ask where the closest bathroom was. Before I could get the first word of my sentence out the two at the desk and a security guy jumped on us about no outside drinks while my daughter was begging for a bathroom. I have been fed up with the poor quality of the staff here they are rude, disrespectful, and have no common decency for people. I refuse to go back ever.
Love this place even though the waiters tried to flirt with me and my husband after we had a few drinks. I mean we’re into it so we invited him over after we were done. The staff is extra friendly if you know what I mean.
The food was not to bad. The caramel churro was incredible! The staff was quick. The actual good was a little dry and the prices are decent. As for the games; I enjoyed the amount of games there and the variety was great but the prices are RIDICULOUSLY high. I will stick to the game places in the valley, not worth driving to Anchorage for.
Good food and good drinks + games= AWESOME.
Terrible customer service, our party of 8 waited for a table for 20mins to be available, once the table was clear a party of 4 that was already seated asked to be moved from their booth they were sitting in and were given our table. All the manager said was sorry. Never again terrible customer service.
Great food and fun games, great experience for everyone of all ages
Had a great time. Not sure the prices. Company paid for it holiday christmas party.
Its a great place to play games and have fun like a adult playground but you can enjoy the moments with your kids as well food isnt that great but as far as the arcade A++
Went on a slow Saturday night, got seated right away. Server was nice but was very slow to bring drinks and take our order. She then only brought half our appetizer order and didn’t bring more waters after asking multiple times for the kiddos. After waiting over 45 mins for our food, it came out cold, all 7 meals were cool to the touch. Had to send back our sons Burger because the bun was rock hard and the meat and cheese looked like it was cooked the day before. After we had our dinners she brought out our second appetizer that was also cold. Needless to the say the food was the worst food I have been served in years in any anchorage restraunt. No big deal we were there for the kids to let them have fun right! Well they did, they had a blast and the games were great for them although when we go to check out, of the three cards they had one didn’t register any tickets or show it had any return for the games they had played. They other two had close to a thousand but our sons didn’t redeem any so we asked if something was wrong with it or if they could do anything for all the games he had played and won and was informed they could do nothing and it was all for not. So, not only was his burger terrible, now I had to explain to him that he couldn’t get a toy because their cards didn’t keep track of his tickets.I usually don’t take to do these types of reviews but we had the worst experience and it was almost laughable the service food and outcome to what was suppose to a fun night out for two families. We have been here before and had what I thought was good service with decent food, fun and actually recommended it, I’m sad to say I won’t do that again.
A lot of fun food and arcade combo seems like a great deal.
Nice workers. I love their games. excellent food
Dave and Busters is a fun place for everyone of all ages. After 10pm, the place becomes 21 and over only so there arent kids running around being noisy. The food is very delicious as well. However, the place isnt low priced, but not crazily over priced.
D&B is an amazingly fun place for all ages, fun for just going and watching what ever sports game is on and enjoying a beer.
Lots of fun! Its a great place to unwind. I love to come on Wednesdays for half off games. I want to see them bring in the giant Rock Em Sock Em robots to this location. I also think turning down the volume would make it easier for some of the co-op games.
Playland for adults, and very nice staff. I took one of my individuals with disabilities there to watch some sports on one of the many TVs. Easy access for the wheelchair and staff were okay with us just hanging out for a while.
Good atmosphere and energy. I know they are busy but they could be a bit more expedient on their food. Its good food as well.
Love the games. Sometimes a long wait for food but they make up for it with extra game cards sometimes !
