A fun time for my whole team if work peeps for a Christmas party. Able to reserve lanes, pay for food and drinks ahead of time, and if alcohol is where your party is at, a full service bar. Neon bowling is always a hit!

Kids Bowl Free Program at Center Bowl brought our family to the alley and it has consistently been clean. The staff is polite and puts the bumpers up for younger bowlers allowing multiple ages to bowl together happily. The lanes sometimes get pins stuck or miscalculate the number of pins that fell but staff can correct that and reset them for us as well as help when a ball gets stuck midway in the ball return lines. With the COVID scare that most experience, its nice to have somewhere our family can get out and use a little energy Inside where its not cold.

Awesome as always ! We was able to bring outside food in due to the mini restaurant being closed. Super plus for us !

Definitely an older place that could stand some remodeling, however they do a nice job keeping it clean.

Fun place for the whole family. I signed my daughter up for the kids summer program which was pretty cool. the only thing I wish they would change for that world be the days and hours available for the summer program, (maybe adding weekends?) for us working parents who cant make it every Friday.

Center Bowl is great place, I highly recommend their birthday packages! For the price you cant beat it! You get a lot of fun bowling, food, drinks, and you dont have to clean up when your done. I know personally it was nice to not have to find parking for everyone and worry about everyone taring up my house.They also have coupons at Fred Myers and Carrs if you want to just go bowling with some friends. Buy 2 get 2 free, so with a shoe rental your maybe spending 25$ for a couple hours of fun.

Night bowling was fun. Timed lanes work well for families. $5 per for shoes seems high, but reasonable. Very active place, lots of families and groups. Worth a visit for a little fun. Lots of posted information on leagues if you are interested.Bathroom was clean and maintained.

Very overpriced. They only offer pay by the hour and it is hard to even get through one game in an hour! The people working here are mean and unhelpful.

Employee attitude is very poor and the process you pay is much too high for the quality that you get. They also only offer hourly play instead of by the game. Not worth the time for the drive out or the effort to navigate employee attitude.

Employee attitude was extremely poor. They required prepayment for our party of 5 and told us that if they came 5 minutes later they would be charged for hourly bowling instead of individual games. The price per hour is incredibly over priced for extremely low quality lanes and bowling alley.

Great place to go to bowl for fun. Only issue I had was I have very small hands and there werent any balls small enough for me. An 11 was the smallest and I really needed a 10. Its not going to stop me though from going back.

Bowling options in Anchorage are limited, but this one is pretty good. Kid friendly, pleasant staff, bar attached and the food is pretty good. Sadly, they ran out of hot wings, so I could only place one order.

No air conditioning. The guy behind the counter with the mutton chops acted like it was the end of the world to change lanes. Out lane was messed up and it still charged time for them to fix it. The food was good and the bar was fine. I WILL NEVER BOWL HERE AGAIN.

Center Bowl is a blast from the past, with Neon bowling, colored pin bowling, league night, open bowling, bumper lanes, a snacks & cafe bar, mini arcade... Its got everything, even its own pro shop for the serious bowlers. Theres flyers that say private lessons are even available... Probably worth it for the person looking to improve their game, this is one of three serious bowling alleys in the city. The place is clean and friendly, shoes are clean, and youre given a brand new pair of socks that you keep upon leaving. Bowling balls are available in all sizes and weights, and the booth & computer are comfortable and easy to set up your game. Ive no issues with center bowl in all the times Ive been there.... Its always comfortable and always welcoming... I may not be the best bowler, but I never let that keep me from having a good time. Center Bowl used to be my favorite place to go bowling. However, the place has really gone downhill and needs some serious upgrades. The service was extremely poor. Any time I asked for assistance the workers gave me major attitude and it was as though I was an inconvenience. The computer on my lane kept malfunctioning, and the workers were never able to fix it. I will be going elsewhere for a while.

Way too pricey, they wanted $25 for the lane for 1hr plus $5 per person for shoes thats $35 for 2 people. We ended up going to Jewel Lake Bowl $10 per person for 2.5 hrs shoes included and very clean nice place.

Weve brought the kids here a couple of times, and they seem to like it. I havent bowled anywhere else tho, so I dont have anything to compare.

My son was so excited to try out bowling for the first time. The management and staff behind the counter were very unpleasant to speak with and unreasonable to work with. There were open lanes but due to league play they failed to serve us as customers. I recognize that league play is important for business today but we as a growing family represent business for tomorrow and will no longer support this establishment.

Had a great time on a double date here. So-so food from the fast food place inside, but I reccomend bringing your own or eat beforehand. Video games for the kids if they get bored.

Lanes were dried up and there were a ton of kids running around. The prices were way too high for how bad the lanes were.

Poor quality bowling alley. The lanes are horrible employee attitude is trash and my wife got food poisoning from the cafe.

Love bowling. went on a Sunday night and if you buy a pitcher of beer they give 5 free games. but you can only use the games same day. our lane had a few problems but honestly thats fine. was crowded when we got there but got a lane and stayed til close. will defintely go back.

Dollar bowling Sunday nights is a killer deal, with a fun crew of regulars happy to offer useful tips (mad shout out to Monty especially). Better than expected chicken wings, have always had good service at the bar, and though Ive occasionally gotten a touchy ball-return machine, tend to have a very solid bowling experience. My preferred lanes in Anchorage. Beer list is better at Taku Lanes in Juneau though :D

Its an all around great place but... some nights might be better than others depending on the bartenders mood which can go from good to bad or vice versa

I dont have anything against the facility but I called a few weeks before and then a couple days before and there was no large event going on the day we wanted. When I showed to host kids for a birthday party the place was full. If there was an opportunity to book 3 lanes I would have done it but I didnt know and no one over the phone offered after calling a few times. Just disappointing is all.

On a night out (daddy/daughter day) with my 7 y.o. daughter, I paid for 2 games for us both. The first game, the computers were not keeping score correctly (it was recording every roll as a strike). It was reset by the staff 2x during that game and the issue was finally resolved in the 10th frame. Therefore we only bowled about 5 frames of the first game. The second game went as expected with correct scoring. We approached the manager about the first game and he made no attempt to correct the situation and blamed it on the computers and there is nothing I can do. My daughter was devastated, even to the point that she expressed her frustration to the manager. His response was stone cold and would not offer anything to make it right. So I paid for 2 games and only bowled 1.5 games. A very disappointing experience for us both.The only reason I gave them 1 star is the other two staff members were very polite.I will not be returning to Center Bowl.

Bowling is great, bowling while drinking is better. This establishment is probably our best alley in Anchorage, but that really isnt saying much. The lanes regularly have technical issues and may misinterpret how many pins were knocked down during a roll. The food is pretty good for it being standard American fare, and the fries complement a pitcher of your favorite cheap beer.That said, it is still bowling so youll probably have a really good time.

Went on a Sunday night with Groupon deal. Got a lane right away, shoes were included and they were the first bowling alley ever to give me socks with shoe rental. I put them on over my own socks for extra protection. Alley is kept relatively clean. 4 stars because the Groupon is time-based, one hour from time of register closing the transaction. The lane broke down several times, decreasing our bowling time. They were pretty quick to reset each time, about 3-4 minutes, but still a little annoying to lose the time

This bowling alley has some of the most inconsiderable people working here my phone has died so i plugged it in so i could find a ride and the bar tender kicks me off the plug in said i was cheating the system come on a phone is change if that and I inform them that I have 2 big blisters on my feet and I was just trying to get a ride people have no shame trying to kick someone when they are down know wonder know one goes bowling they have t ok deal with him this is just one foot

Good place to bring the family. Bumper bowling for the lil ones or inexperienced. Look for discount coupons on the back of large grocery store receipts for a good bargain. Flat-rate per hour bowling some evenings and lots of other specials to get you involved.

Hands down best bowling in town. The staff is caring and helpful. Cant say enough about this place.

Their $1 games dont start until 10pm on Sundays. They just didnt get the chance to remove their add online. Drinks were great. Food is typical fast food quality. No balls below 10 lbs. Socks come with shoe rental just in case yours smell...jk...just in case youre not wearing socks. Shoes were in good condition. Place looks clean. $4.75 for shoe rental and $5.25 per game per person.

Bowled two games here. The staff were helpful. We went between 8-9 on a Wednesday evening and it was not get busy. We got right in.

The bowling ally itself is nice and the price is great on Tuesdays but we ran into a few issues and didnt have to great of an experience.First we waited till 9 for the better price but the guy didnt give it to us because they decided to not do it till 930 even though online said 9. So we waited.We purchased 2 games for each of us and they stopped it in the middle of our second game and said we had to pay more, then they said we had to show them receipts that they never gave us, so I recommend getting a receipt every time.It was mostly a hassle and we just wanted to pay and play.Its really too bad because I dont want to go back die to how a lot of the fun was taken away from our experience, Id rather try a different ally then go back here.I hope the best for this allies success, I recommend better policies and sticking with the website or updating the website so that prices arent confusing.For customers I recommend checking the website and whats getting rung up, as well as asking for all receipts.

Went there on New Years Eve to bowl with my girlfriend and my buddy to celebrate going into the new year, the front desk didnt even notice us standing at the front counter for about 5 minutes because they were too busy talking to their friends, then when one overweight chunky guy that needed to wash his hair finally came to help us he was completely rude and baisically acted like he didnt want to be there, I was charged 31 dollars for two people, for just 1 hour of bowling and shoe rentals. we finally got into bowling and saw there was a drink menu sitting on the table, not a single bar worker came to the lanes to ask if we wanted drinks, then we finally gave up and went to the bar tender to get drinks and he didnt know how to make any of the drinks on the damn menu. Only go here as a last resort, expect high prices and terrible customer service

I like this place. Its the best place to bowl in town. If it were fixed up a little I would give it five stars. I really like the staff there, they are always helpful.

Too crowded with people who dont know the rules of bowling kids running around while your trying to have fun and bowl. The floors were sticky...stay away...

I went there with my youth kids. The lane got stuck literally 10+ times and I had to go tell the store guys to fix it.They only gave us 15 minutes for the time we have to stay there waiting for unstuck.Never going there.

I like Centerbowl very much but wish they had security for the parking lot-otherwise the staff is pretty good and they often have some practice lanes open.

There is a ramp down to the bowling area for handicap like me and the bowling was fun. the bumpers are great to switch between different players automatically

Card didnt work with their system, game froze halfway through - they said they would reset it, we waited and nothing happened. Went back up and they said they could give us a free game, wouldnt give us a refund and they wouldnt let us come back at another time to play this free game. Since we had to leave at the end of the game anyways we said enough is enough and left.

Love the glow in the dark lights. Theres an alcoholic and non drinking sideWasnt sure if theres a place to get something to eat as well. As the only 2 places looked as though they only served alcohol from being on the drinking side past the barriers. Happened to be next to very enthusiastic people who yelled in cheer each time one of their 8 people made a strike which was every other time so ended up getting a major headache from them. Other than that, a great place for kids, a fence thing goes up for kids so the bowling ball wont end up in the gutter. Unlimited amount of rounds, just pay for the hours. They provide white socks to wear with the shoes to help further prevent athletes foot and foot fungus.

Rude attendants, my sister planned a party for her BF and reserved 4 lanes for the party when she arrived there was a tournament going on and none was reserved for the party......the attendant was soo rude to her about explaining the situation. Customer service sucks needs to be improved big time!!

I love it, every now and again they turn on the black lights so I would definitely wear bright colors just in case
