Great facilities and a great park. As a hunter, conservationist, and recreational shooter this place has it all! I love in Des Moines and it is an easy drive there and back.

Its so peaceful out there. I always love going out there with the girl scouts. They do archery, canoeing, camping and lots of other fun stuff. You have to be a member otherwise to go out there and do the stuff that the place is meant for life the shooting ranges!

Great club to join. Sometimes you gotta be careful of other members. Some are safe while others just dont care.

From camping to hiking to trap and skeet to rifle/pistol ranges, this little park has a ton to offer.

Well kept ranges and grounds. The only problem I can find is that it is sometimes crowded but thats hardly their fault.
