Its not a park its a pit of water and destroyed dreams
For the area of Amarillo that is it a nice park its got great play ground equipment as well as a small water playing station that is open in the summer for the kids oh and its free lol. It is really is a great just be sure that your kid knows stranger - danger.....
Fun. We havent been before and the splash pad an park area were very enjoyable. The only bad was people not throwing their trash and the bathrooms were atrocious. I gave 4* because my kids had fun and that matters to me more.
Best part of this park is the section they updated off of Martin Road an 16th st new play ground an I love the part wer u can play soccer or baseball wit the kids my grandkids loved it here
I did not go to Gene Howe Park. The Mt. of Blessings Seventh day Adventist Church, is across the street 1600 N Bivins. That is where I am every Sabbath(Saturday) at 9:30 am.
Nice park
Used to like before they took the old park down and digged a bigger whole. I used to take the kids out there to play kickball, and freesbie
