Haines Park is a very nice city park with a rose garden, modern playground for the kids and a nice shelter. Large shade trees and being a block or two from the main street make it both easy to get to and quiet. Parking is limited but this has never been a problem as we have only been there during the week for lunch. I would have given it a five but there is only one grill at the shelter and the park does not have any restrooms. But for lunch with friends it is nearly perfect.

Great park! It Has lots of different play equipment for kids, nice shaded areas to sit and eat lunch tennis courts, basketball court and a fun rocket sculpture. There’s even a gazebo a few little fountains and a concert area. Lots of trees. What a gem!

Really fun except they need to make the baby slide a little smaller for when they are getting off to go again

I love to play tennis at this park they have super nice courts as beside the courts super nice view,landscaping, and playground.

Our dog likes to run and play fetch at the tennis court. Then we go walking, sniff things, and chase animals. Lately, its been ducks. It could have more lights

Not bad but not good. The party area has outlets for electricity is a plus but rude people make it hard to want to g or there and the police love assuming bad things about single fathers just trying to spend time with thier Daughter.

Love stopping here for a picnic or for kids to play. Especially beautiful in the spring when the flowers are in bloom.

Lots of shady spots to stay out of the sun and very relaxing atmosphere.

A nice park with plenty to do here. Two different playground areas, a basketball court, and a tennis court.Not there to play, thats okay too. Theres plenty of nature to enjoy, as well as an Amphitheater that shows free movies during the summer.

Teenagers tried to steal my daughters bike as well as her friends skateboard. Nice park to take the kids to but dont recommend them going alone.

Its the same beautiful park I remember as a kid growing up in Altoona. Everyone should take some time and enjoy this gem.

This park is very good if you need a place for your kids to play that will help them develop strength and agility without them realizing that was your evil plan the while time. Not a lot of conventional type play equipment if thats what your looking for
