My kids and I had a great time. I thought the virus protocol would ruff on us but the experience over all was great.
Great place to see an IMAX movie. Went to see Asteroid Hunters documentary and it was excellent. Nice staff working hard there to make it a good experience, esp during COVID.
Lol...we tried to have a family birthday celebration during covid. Paid $100 to rent out a theater and watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) for our 6 people. Concessions were limited and expensive. They served the below average food and one of us received a completely raw biscuit with the entree. They literally forgot to cook it, raw dough....whatever, who cares about a side biscuit at a movie theater. The real problem was when the movie started. It was the b.s. 2018 cartoon remake instead of the Jim Carrey one. We went out and asked the manager, and she said they didnt have the 2000 version. Our confirmation email clearly stated the 2000 version featuring Jim Carrey, annnnd they didnt have it.Dont go here. Lovely waste of an evening and a lot of money. At least out of the kindness of their hearts they offered a *partial* refund.TLDR - raw food, rented entire theater and they didnt have the promised film.
Dolby Cinema is the only way to watch movies IMO. Just saw Tenet and had my mind blown. Its great to go back to the movies finally. Tried to have a little popcorn before I went in the theater and was told I have to keep my mask on until I get to my seat - which is a good thing. I think theyre doing everything possible to ensure the safety of their customers.
Worst experience. Went in with masks were told our masks were not approved by the theater and we would not be allowed to enter unless we bought their masks. We already paid for our tickets and didn’t want to buy the masks because we already had our own and didn’t want to spend two dollars a person to buy new ones. The theater just wants you to spend more money. The sweaty mouth breather behind he counter wear his own spit soaked mask got irritated when we said we did not want to purchase the masks and called for the manager who was rude and told us we could have our money back and leave. On top of all of that when they give you your money back they keep a three dollar processing fee. Just stupid.
Dine in experience was bad a plate of chicken tenders was over $20 only 5 tenders, two Small biscuits, and small onions rings. Brittany who I assumed was the manager was extremely rude. This was my birthday and my boyfriend first time coming to this location. We will definitely not be returning. Studio Movie Grill is where I should have told him I wanted to go.
My husband and I decided to come see a movie for our 2 year anniversary and we will not be returning. Based off of the website, we assumed this would be a dine-in movie theater. We were wrong, not a big deal we could still get some snacks while we enjoyed the movie. Only problem, their oven ‘wasn’t working’. So we paid $50 dollars for a dine-in experience only to be able to eat popcorn and chicken tenders. It gets worse. We were told by the slightly unpleasant concession stand worker the free popcorn and soda refills were no longer offered I assume because of COVID. Not a big deal. We’d just buy more if we wanted. Only problem is that during an 8pm showing, apparently everything closed down around 8:45pm. My husband went out to BUY another soda and was told that the refills were no longer available. That’s ok, can we just buy another? Nope. We’re closed. But you can get water out of the SAME SODA MACHINE.Thanks, but we won’t be returning (:
No refills on anything reasonable. Making me pay the same price for everything, while also insisting on me paying for refills are they crazy??
Felt like the staff was doing an amazing job during these health critical times.
It looks exceptional inside, very clean and comfortable seats, but my God is it warm in the theaters. Action movies and saunas, not the sweating I prefer.
It looks amazing, I just bought the Amc stub A Listers membership think and unfortunately we werent able to make it to the movies but when I was looking at the pictures and how comfortable the movie theater chairs and just while set up amazed me!
Love this theater. Chairs are comfortable (leather recliners) theaters are clean and food is pretty good! Once the nachos were cold; I blame it being Tuesday and hopefully they’ll do better in the future.
Really comfortable reclining seats and amazing sound! Saw Empire Strikes Back 40th anniversary
First time to order food off the menu, other than when weve had popcorn. The chopped cobb salad was actually pretty tasty. A bit of a surprise as I didnt expect much. Would definitely order something again. Only downside is it took about 30 minutes for my salad to be delivered. Love the reclining seats.
It is a AMC Dine-In. Ive been to other Dine -In before but this one had horrible service. You have to order at the counter before going to your seat. Red flag. We ordered Dinner for 2 burger, fries, onion rings, hot wings, and salad. Got our seats to find not tables or trays like the other places. So thought they will bring trays at least with food. NO .. they brought trays but told us they couldnt leave them for us to use. The rules! So here we are with 2 full meals in our laps with drinks juggling to eat and not waste or spill any of the and watch/enjoy the movie. They should not be a Dine-In theater. And the food was not prepared well. Horrible experience. Will not do it again.
I Love this theater. Its easy access to the mall, dining, etc. Ordering tickets online is the best. Everything from the atmosphere to the premiere service is great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The stadium seating theater, complete with reclining seats, is clean. You get the full movie experience.
The theater is very nice. Being able to recline and relax is very nice. I can understand the ticket price for this luxury. The food, however, is a different story. It was bland and not very inspired, but they charged like it was a 4-star restaurant. Take a note from Top Golf and Mercedes Benz Stadium. Lower your prices and youll sell more.
Man, these seats were the MOST comfortable. They recline until you’re pretty much laying down. I love the swivel table to keep popcorn and candy on. Ordering tickets and food ahead of time on the app and having it delivered with no wait was excellent.
The whole movie theater is run like a well-oiled machine. Food was good (not great). Very comfortable seating. Decent sound in the regular theaters. Make sure you get a seat behind the handicap area.
It’s a pretty nice movie theatre. Can order food to your seat buts it’s gonna be $20 a person. Oddly only 1 person working ticket booth. Love the stadium seating with reclining chairs. However most movies I see here are in the 11 and 12 theatre which don’t seem to have good sound barriers. Despite expensive we’ve still saved a lot as AMC members. It’s worth it. Just don’t come hungry if you want to save. Although food looked good. Dig the front signage saying Entertainment :)
All the basic necessities of a theater with a little extra. Extremely comfortable reclining seats with enough space for most, a flip out table and you can pull up the arm rest if you need more space or want to get close to whoever youre watching the movie with. Its a little cold if youre not dressed for the AC blasting but the audio and screens are fantastic. For someone who only occasionally goes out to see a big movie this is a great spot to do so. You wont want to go back to a regular movie theater after going here.
Excellent experience. The recliner chairs are nice, comfy, and clean. Serves beer if you care for any, and a pretty good selection of food.Service is always prompt with the food delivery and this being my second movie that Ive watched now at the AMC Dine-In, Ill definitely be back for the next big release (Maybe Starwars..).I highly recommend if your looking for a great movie outing experience.
My family and I went to this theater with tickets already purchased online for the new Bad Boys movie. We arrived an hour and a half early. We checked in and were advised to come in by the host We had more than enough time to leave and get something to eat so we did. Once we arrived again at the theater we checked in again with the same host who advised us we could not see the movie because we had a child under the age of 6 years old, who was with us the first time. Unfortunately we could not find a sitter. I was furious with the policy and more so because we were not advised about this the 1st time we checked in. So I walk over to the manager to see if she could accommodate us. Brittany was very adamant about following a policy that I completely disagree with and did not try to satisfy me the customer whom had purchased five tickets in the amount of $120. While I was complaining about the unfortunate event that happend to me four more customer complained about service at this location. This was very upsetting to me and my family who were just trying to have a fun night out.
I was pleasantly surprised. Its really clean the food was good. Id say its on par with studio movie grill, except you have to order your food at the counter from a smaller menu. Also the ticket prices are higher. Id still recommend.
They will bring your food into the movie....super expensive
My Wife and I really enjoy this theater.
Dig the reclining chairs and the ability to order food to eat during the movie. Unsurprisingly, all of their food/snacks/drinks are overpriced, and therefore not worth the purchase. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Don’t be fooled. This “dine in” theater is not really a dine in theater. They simply have a bigger concession stand menu. You still have to stand in line to order the food. No servers. No ability to order from your seat, as the term “dine in” means elsewhere.
The food is really good in a friendly atmosphere. Food is delivered to you in your seat. The food quality and service is great, the latest movies are playing. Give yourself time to get your food and enjoy it before the movie.
Disappointing. Understaffed. 40 minute wait in line to order. Many left line bc their movie was starting. Many items sold out. As for the eat in the theater experience....could not see the food (imagine eating in total darkness). Delivered 30 minutes into movie so had to squeeze in front of other patrons. And I felt I was disturbing others with rustling wrappers, plastic trays and food smells. Also: dirty dirty bathrooms. All of this at movie theatre concession prices ($51 for 2 sandwiches and drinks).
Its a good movie theater. Recliners are a little worn, but food and overall movie experience is great! What would make it even better would be the ability to order from your seat. You have to get up and go to the lobby to order food and get refills.
Came to theatre on Sunday night (dinner) prior to MLK Holiday. It was a Night that a lot of people were there to see movies because they would have the next day off. They were so ill prepared and under staffed. There was only 2 people behind the food counter. They ran out of chicken fingers. The premium line was not staffed at all. They ran out of ice. Just amazingly bad. Never will go here again, and try to avoid AMC altogether.
I liked this place. Comfortable seating. The food was good. Liked the table/chairs seating in concession area. Only issue, the handicap seating was occupied by non handicap patrons. Not good!!The movie was great!
My visit to this theater was on a Tuesday. It was a pleasant experience overall; however, the reason for this review is to compliment the courtesy and kindness of Kyle who was the manager on duty. When voicing a question on the inclusive nature of a part of the service Kyle listened and handled the concern in a most appreciative manner. Enjoy your movie-going experience!
Favorite theater in Northern Atlanta. We drive 25 minutes, past 2 other theaters, to go to this one. They have the most comfortable reclining seats here. Its also not a huge, crowded theater, which is nice.Lots of great food & treats nearby as well, if youre looking to eat or grab a treat with the family before or after. However, you can order food from your seat in the theater.
Management at this establishment is by far the worst Ive ever seen. Incompetent and more focused on corporate procedure than giving true customer service. Ive had repeated negative experiences which all fall on the shoulders of management. I honestly hate this location and only go because its my local AMC location and Im an A-List memeber. They show zero love to customers who visit every week and behave as if making a sale is unimportant to them. TRASH service in my opinion.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Stood in line 3 times for hot dogs and NEVER got them!!1. Not done cooking2. Go back 15 mins done cooking but buns frozen3. Go back a 3rd time and they “dropped” the Last cooked hot dog on the floorMovie is fine (what I got to see) but don’t order food!
I love the recliner seats they have here. It’s very comfortable.
Fun place to hang out with friends and family. Good movies as well. Nice people too!!
Horrible Setup and Experience . The order at counter is a terrible setup when you have no staff. At prime time, 6:00 pm, for dinner on Sunday, they only had two people taking Dine In orders. Took us 40 min to get to counter to be told they had no chicken other than tenders and it would take over an hour to get our food. I paid $20 per seat for this!!!!!! I refused to give them more money so we walked away and ordered nothing. Never again.....
Amazing value!!! AMC stubs rewards program is excellent with free large popcorn refills and large bucket of popcorn on your birthday. Definitely an awesome experience for our family.
Expensive is an understatement but I love it. The IMAX and Dolby theaters are amazing. One of my favorite locations.
We brought my mom for her 80th birthday and to cheer her up to watch Jumanji since she was just diagnosed with cancer. To our surprise this theater was disaster. The money you pay there is no carbonated beverages today 12/28. the movie theater looks as though there was party the night before and they forgot to clean up. There are far better movie theaters to go to will NOT be back at this one or any AMC.
No tables and lights to eat dine in food.
My favorite North Atlanta theater.
We saw Joker and had a great experience. Food was good and came out timely. Seats were very comfortable.
Its a very nice comfortable theatre. The Dolby halls are really good but I would suggest against booking seats in the last row. Your view is distorted by the glass railing in front of you and the whole movie watching experience becomes a bummer. Highly recommend the management is remove the glass railing.
Great location easy to find. Expensive compared to other options. Has good features.
Unpleasant experience. The theater was clean, but the food service and management is what ruined our experience. We order our food @ 8:08 pm. I went to check the status of our order at 8:48pm, and was told by the manager that it was on it’s way. 20 minutes later my husband went back to check the status of the order, and was told that he had only ordered 20 minutes ago, and was told that they needed the receipt. By, the time my husband returned to his seat, it was only 15 minutes left in the movie. I told my husband let’s wait until the end of the movie to get a refund for the food because running back and forth during the movie caused us to miss the movie. When the movie was over, we spoke to the manager and told her that we never got our food. The first thing she should have done was apologize, she never apologized but gave us free tickets to come back as if that solved the problem. She was disrespectful because She kept rushing and didn’t stop nor slow down to hear what we were saying. She brushed us off. I asked her if she remember speaking with me and telling me that my order was on the way, all she could do was blame the food runner. I don’t plan to ever Visit this AMC again. Lack of customer care. Smh
Dolby theater is awesome audio/video quality. Way better than iMax, only way to see blockbuster movies from now on for me.
This was one of the most beautifully designed theaters I have ever been to. It was an awesome atmosphere.
Currently in the A-List awaiting to be serviced meanwhile both lines are beyond long with only one person on the register. What’s the point of having two line if you’re only going to have one person servicing both? When I asked if there was someone that could help the young lady working running the food rolled her eyes and ignored me. Really dissatisfied in the customer service experience tonight.
I was looking over my $55 food receipt and i saw that they charge $1.00 to deliver the food to your seat. Is there even an option to pick up your food? If so that wasn’t mentioned. They tax you left and right... food tax; non-alcohol tax and delivery fee tax. What an absolute joke. The food obviously isnt great cause its at a movie theater but to pay for two entrees and a kids meal...AMC do better. Stop trying to rip off your customers. Now i see why movie goers numbers are dwindling. Recliner seats are very comfortable. I’ll stick to Regal and NCG. NCG at peachtree corners has unlimited soft drinks, popcorn and candy.. your welcome parents :)
I like the ability to order a dinner to vkme to my seat and enjoy a movie. The comfy chairs make it feel like home.
Awsome people and awsome attitudes. They were knowledgeable on their movies the movie stats and products
They changed the theater last minute and our seats and didn’t even notify us. We were party of six figuring out where to sit and none of the staff knew what they were doing. The manger came in and told us our seat number and his demeanor wasn’t apologetic either. Finally went back to address them how to get our food send to our seats and none of the staff was helpful. Kept saying we don’t know and figure it out yourself with the kitchen staff while we were missing our movie. totally ruined our experience of watching our movie and horrible experience. The staff was understaffed and was making it look like our fault.
Movie theater is nice. IMAX has great sound. 2 stars as we ordered dine in and when they brought the food they didn’t bring a tray to eat it on!?! They said they don’t have trays or anything to eat on in those two theaters. Imagine trying to eat a salad and wings in the dark on your lap. They should post it somewhere so you know before you order.
Movie experience was ok. The food was over an hour wait. Many people were upset that it took so long to get their meal. Luckily the cashier told me when I ordered, so I was able to cancel.Seats are stadium and recline. Refillable drinks and large portions of popcorn are decently priced.
All kiosks outside did not function. Of 4 drink machines two had ice and one that had ice was out of coke. Insufficient staff at concessions. Mens room urinal was leaking. Not going back
Love going here but you need to get the refill buckets.
Great location. One of my favorites
It is a nice place, how ever I only rated it 4. Because the tiquet office is outside
Me and my girlfriend have started coming here often. We prefer it over the Regal Avalon theater nearby. Seats are comfortable and the staff is always quick and friendly. Do keep in mind you order your food at the counter then it is brought out to your seat. Love the staff and the theater.
Love to go there specially after work with my nephew and girlfriend and watch a good movie popcorn ices and ice cold beer
The Dolby sound is worth the extra bucks; recliners are great; 3rd row is not too close...had the churros & caprese flat bread pizza - very good and hot...but no basil....still excellent. Ice machines were out and not enough staff at the food counter - however when you got there the one gentleman was very polite and helpful...I might have been flustered with 30 people in line...
Super easy to reserve seats online. Very comfortable seats with plenty of room. Good view from all but the very closest rows. Audio quality is very good in the regular theaters (they also have an IMAX theater but we havent tried that yet).
Theater was great. Did not partake of food while there. I did preview the menu and had several variation of Burgers, salads and such...
This is my favorite theater! I really like that although it’s apart of the mall, it’s completely separate from it and has it’s own entrance. Wish all theaters could have reserved reclining seats. Once you go here, it’s hard to go back to up right, non reserved seating. It’s a great location compared to more busier areas like Atlanta and Cumberland - crowds are more chill.
This is our regular theater and we like going to the movies - especially here. I joined A-List a few months back and my experience overall has been very good at this theater. The staff is friendly (they do rotate through employees pretty quickly) and overall the food and drink service is very good. The only downside I see is that the seats are starting to show age and they could do a better job of wiping down the tray tables in-between movies. Nothing terribly gross - but could be better.
Power recline chairs are very comfy but the tables need a little more adjustability
A cleaner-than-average movie theater with delivery to seat. Recommend the Hazelnut churros!
Perhaps the best movie experience ever, considering the amazingly advanced screen and sound! Just so much better than what Id experienced previously.
Great movie theater. Seats were very comfortable, and the staff was so nice!
The fact that this place doesn’t let you bring in YOUR OWN water bottle is simply ridiculous.I understand the food, it’s a dine-in theater and that’s part of how they make money... but water?Gtfo.
Falling apart, paid for seats in advance and the chair was dilapidated. We were very disappointed. Please make the necessary repairs and update all chairs.
Service is not great & seating in regular auditoriums is extremely worn &/or broken w/ seat numbers missing. Needs a complete redo. In addition, as a dine-in theater option, its non-sensical that the Dolby & IMAX auditoriums dont hv trays for you to eat your food. Im a frequent visitor (mostly b/c of convenience & Dolby) so I know this already but I can imagine its very misleading to newcomers. In addition, the food runners need to learn the basic layout of the theatres!! I dont even work there & I know which side the seat numbers start on. Instead, to find seat 12, they will start w/ seat 1 & offer the food to EVERY SINGLE SEAT in between interrupting everyone unnecessarily. Do better!
Very clean, friendly employees and quick service, great sound system, popcorn delicious, love the customize your beverage machines esp the various Powerade zero selections!
It’s a great theater with great staff that do their best to work this Hybrid Dine in style as you order food at the counter and give them your theater and seat number for them to bring it to you. Dolby and IMAX are part of the premium and are worth it in my opinion specifically Dolby. IMAX isn’t a true IMAX but does well.
It was nice and clean. I thought the seats could be a bit a little bit bigger. Im a small guy and thought they were a little tight. The food was good for a movie place.
I actually like this theatre. The Dolby halls are really good but I would suggest against booking seats in the last row. It’s a balcony seat where your view is distorted by the glass railing in front of you and the whole movie watching experience becomes a bummer. Either the rates of the last row seats should be reduced or the seats removed altogether.
By far our favorite theater to go to. love the recliner seats better then the regal Avalon ones. Regal ones are nice but dont like the tables connected to them. Very clean and staff is always nice. Just make sure you pick a showing with the reclining seats, the normal ones are terrible. Might as well get the full experience paying those prices for a movie.
The place is showing its age. Regal Avalon is clearly attracting more footfalls thanks its modernized infrastructure and better overall experience. AMC Dine-In needs a interior refresh. The deep red scheme isnt working. Also, Dine-In options need to be improved. Very limited choices, esp for vegetarians.
Excellent screen and audio.Very comfortable seats.Have drinks and snack at your seat.
Watched Frozen 2 here in IMAX. Good theater. Comfortable seating(not recliners).
Nice, clean theatre with good screens and sound system. Surprisingly good menu to order from and have delivered to your seat as you watch your movie. Adult beverages also available at the bar and can be taken into your movie. Arguably the best theater in Alpharetta.
Great food delivered to ur recliner seat. Oh yeah!
This was a top class experience. I saw Star wars in IMAX. The seats were very comfortable and of course the IMAX was... well it was IMAX. Awesome sound and great visual.
Nice place. Pricey food! Nice staff.
I have just experienced the worst service at this theater. I’m going to say that I don’t go out to see a lot of movies but when I do it’s generally with a friend. My friend who is visiting from out of the states and I decided to take her to a movie. Along the way there was a major accident which caused us to be late to our late night movie. Once we arrived 20min late which we decided no big deal it would be more of an hassle to get a refund. Doors were locked which only seemed natural but to have an employee look at us continue to work and proceed to ignore us and go to the back and come back out is insanely disrespectful. I understand not coming to the door but there is a window for a reason. I’m upset more so now that I’ve offered an experience in my city that I couldn’t deliver because an employee didn’t want to deliver customer service. I recommend to this location of AMC hire employees who are willing to give customer service if not there are places which I do not visit who pay employees for services such as what we have received tonight.
I really enjoyed my experience. Very clean auditorium and bathroom. Service was excellent
Nice theater, with many different tiers of showing rooms
Surprised at how nice this theater is. North Point Mall is definitely not the go-to spot that it may have once been, but the AMC is definitely the defining and stand-out spot. Located on the far end of the mall, with ample parking, the theater is spacious, clean, and has friendly employees. Definitely recommend.
Food was delicious. Had one of the bacon cheese burgers with the royal sauce and it was good, so were the tater tots. The seats are recliners which is very comfortable, great way to see a movie. It is kind of expensive though.....
It was very expensive and not as comfortable as I expected. But staff was super nice and helpful
