Really fine well kept museum of beautiful rare boats and motors and an unbelievable number of antique fishing lures. Dont skip it. Someone puts a lot of work and dedication into this place. Even my girlfriend who doesnt know much at all about old boats spent two hours marveling at the wonderful craftsmanship of old wooden boats.

A great classic boat museum! Pristine Old Towns, Chris Crafts, Gar Woods and Alexandria Boat Works boats presented in a bit well-lit air conditioned venue. Hats off to the organization, volunteers and operators!

Awesome display of rare boats and boating memorabilia. Brings back a lot of memories from lake and resort life in the past. Beautiful outdoor gardens to walk around. Great place to go visit for several hours remembering the good Ole days.

What a great place to stop at, this is not far from the interstate and is well worth the stop. It has a collection of antique, beautiful & wacky watercraft and all sorts of other memorabilia, motors and history related to the many lakes in Minnesota. In the backyard of the museum there is a meditation flower garden, with a stage, gazebo and benches! You can take a stroll about and relax for a while before continuing your trip. We enjoyed it was fun, informative, fun and relaxing.

Amazingly great museum. Well cared for. Exhibits displayed in an interesting way with lots of descriptions and short videos to help with the history of the items. Beautiful gardens in the back. Perfect for a wedding or other private event.

Pretty thorough exhibits of boating and resorts in MN which sounds dull when I type it, but actually interesting!

This place was great! Lots of fun history. If you are a boat/lake enthusiast you must go! Kids ages 10 & 16 also enjoyed it.

Accidently ran across this museam when passing through town. One of the nicest collections and displays of boats and fishing stuff I have seen. Everything is very well displayed, the scenery is awesome and tons of cool and unique things. If your a fishing person, this is a must stop. Very beautiful.

Its a museum about boats. It was interesting to look around briefly, learned some information. Very well laid out, beautiful garden out back. Just be aware its all boats (with a little fishing paraphernalia).

Outstanding special exhibits, unique boats and beautiful gardens. Many seating areas in the gardens to enjoy the outdoor views.

This is a real surprise to find such a quality museum in this size city. The vintage boats are amazing and the displays of the areas resorts history is so well done. And to top it all off they have a gorgeous garden that is around 2 acres out back that is used for all sorts of event like music concerts. weddings, social gathering or just hanging out among the flowers A must visit when your in Alexandria
