Interesting historic mansion, very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful garden!

A National Treasure in the Heart of Albany this Amazing landmark mansion is an absolute delight! The gardens are open year round offering a beautiful green space for the urban surround. Magnificent views during fall and winter. The Board members are above and beyond passionately committed to the mansion and their preservation of it. A worthwhile place to endow your support.

Went to see The Ideal Husband, and it was wonderful! We stayed on the first floor, the mansion was beautiful, and the actors were great - all around fantastic.

The tour guide is a little short but I understand it is a volunteer place beautiful place lots of history

Its an old house with some cool old stuff, and it was certainly interesting, but the house is all of eight rooms, sparsely furnished, and if youve have any experience with houses/museums of the period this will be nothing new or exciting and will only take about fifteen minutes. I enjoyed my visit, but was glad I went on a free day and cant imagine going back.

This is a true hidden gem of Albany. There is something to see here no matter the season - from Santa to flower blossoms to fall foliage.

House is pretty cool. Located in a not so safe neighborhood. Tour was neat. House could use a bit more staging and information. All in all, worth a quick visit.

Knowledgeable staff and beautiful location. The gardens are stunning and the indoor of the mansion transports you back in time. It even has an original wine cellar from prohibition.

A little boring you need to be into history

A lovely secret garden hidden in the middle of downtown Albany. There was no one else there for the better part of an hour. Plenty of space to lounge about, surrounded by greenery.

Visited to see an outdoor play. Lovely grounds, beautiful mansion.
