Its pretty awesome! They redid the area behind the softball field, and its a nice open space to play some games or chill at the tables. Theres also a ping pong table which is cool
A recreational family Park in the neighbourhood of Alameda. Huge place and well maintained. There are picnic tables around. Dogs are roaming around and I don’t really think it’s still safe for children when dogs are around the Park, although they say that you can call violators. This place gets full on weekends. The park is just within Frank Otis Elementary School.
Sometimes to vindy to play tennis other than that is a beautiful little Park.
It was a pretty chill place had a lot of trees and a baseball field
Very well maintained neighborhood park
Even with the structure all wet, my kids had found a lot of fun being there by themselves (8:30am). There are two parts, one with a fence. Its pretty big, some people run and walked. A very nice policewoman noticed that I was on the wrong side of the road (sweeping day) and let me her spot on the good side. What a nice day!
Great playgroung to let the kids run and play. Highly recommend.
I love this play ground in the alameda area its up the way from Lincoln Park.
Great neighborhood park with ball fields, tennis courts, basketball and play structure.
No hobos, barely any trash, would give 5 stars but the benches had bird poop, those should be cleaned weekly.
It offers a friendly ambient surrounding. A great park to take kids to on a nice day.
Baseball, Tennis, picnic area and play structures. Nice place to spend with the family.
Played tennis. Pretty decent for a public court.
Fun for kids
A big place with so many options for kids
Clean i love it.. my dog.love it
We primarily come for the playground area for my kids. There is a decent sized sandbox to play in that will fit many kids. There are 2 main playgrounds for different age levels that are separated by fences which is really nice. Typical swing sets that are on all playgrounds. The really cool part is that the playground is next to a school that has several basketball hoops and lots of open space for play with lines pre-drawn on the pavement. When school is over, the schools marked pavement is like an extension of the playground for other games.
Great, fun park for kids. A little more snobbiness from parents than Id expect at a free park though. Its not a private park people. This used to be the rich side of town. Now its just the old side... But the playground itself is big.
Its nice to have a park in the bay area where the homeless hasnt taken over. I understand we have a big problem with mental health care and affordable housing but there needs to be some place where i can take my kids without worrying about stepping in human waste.
I love the age appropriate section of the playground for toddlers. My kid loves it!
Besides the cold wind it is a really nice park. I used to go there when I was a teenager.
Great park and great location
Fun playground for most ages. Several swings. Big play structure. Tables and benches, bathroom.
Great playground, very well used. There are plenty of picnic tables for eating lunch.

Where I played baseball when I was young. Alot of memories.
Muddy from the rain but very nice play structure!
Its a good place to play soccer
Great park. 2 playgrounds, one for small kids, tennis courts, bssketball courts, bathrooms, large grass area with 4 baseball/softball fields, bbqs and tables.
Larger field perfect for pickup games or to bring you dog. Bad on the weekend, too make softball players.
Decent playground, room to walk the dog.
Like most City of Alameda parks, this one is well maintained. .
Kid and dogs friendly. Relatively clean.
