Great classes and studio!! I have taken two into to wheel classes at Clay By The Bay. They were both taught by great teachers, Todd and Didem. Each teacher had their own different way of using the wheel, style and personality!!

Prax and this experience was awesome! He made time to actually stop and talk to us, get to know a little about us, and answered all our questions. Our pieces came out beautiful but the experience is what well have for longer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone- wether you want to learn about glass blowing or you want the end piece. Prax is an expert at both. Skip Groupon- go to the website and support this local tradesman.

This place is truly a glass blowing Gem in the East Bay. Prices are great the instruction is the greatest and the rental is the best. The place is great and open and the area offers plenty of free parking along the street.

I called a few studios before deciding on reserving with Prax at Glass Hand Studio. I definitely made the right choice. Prax is super friendly, and is a great teacher. He makes sure youre not messing up your piece too much, but lets you put your own mark on whatever you choose to make. It was great as well to have a truly private class for me and my partner, and the price was very fair for the time spent with Prax & the quality of his instruction.

Glass Hand Studio is true to its name. Its a place where you can put your hands to good use. Its a real gem located in the heart of the SF Bay Area and deserves to be a five star glass rental and glass experience venue.

The space is out of the way, hardly noticeable. Our guide for our glassblowing session was Prax, who was effortlessly expert in his craft. Unlike other glassblowing experience, this one was more hands on. Prax was more willing to let us do more on our own in shaping our pieces. At the end we felt more of a sense of ownership over our creation. Highly recommended.
