Akrons hidden treasure! Simply one of the best parks near the city. The trail is beautiful and there are many things for the whole family here. A playground for the children, swings on the edge of the water and picnic tables. The park is really clean and well taken care of!

Nice trail with beautiful scenery. Biked this trail twice, and I really enjoyed biking the trail; however, there are areas on the trail I would be more comfortable biking with a partner.

Good park to bring the family. They don’t only have playground and a great view, but they also have big tree trunks for the kids to climb. Climbing trees is not something today’s kids get to enjoy enough of.

Summit metro parks did a great job of cleaning this park up and making accessible space for people to gather. Fire pits, grills, picnic tables, and a walking path that circles the lake!

Beautiful lake! Many beautiful views for picture taking. Paved flat trail excellent for anyone INCLUDING persons with physical limitations. Fishing pier. Nice play areas for kids! I understand there is a bridge that I didnt have time to go on today but that I am looking forward to checking out the next time I go. I hope people in this area appreciate what they have in this park!!

We had a community canning class at Summit Lake. We had a slow start due to the larger kitchen stove not working but we were redirected to a smaller kitchen and everything ran smoothly. We made strawberry jam and grape jelly. I brought some extra corrots that we pickled and sealed with a hot water bath. I had an enjoyable day and will be returning to the next class.
