Truly one of the best parts of Zionsville. It offers miles of dirt trails for running that cant be found in many other places around. Wildlife is abundant as I frequently see deer throughout the park on many runs. And the park staff does an excellent job at maintaining the trails, reflected in both can absence of any trash or litter as well as downed trees blocking the trail being cleaned up very quickly. They have even mowed wider side paths and short detours to make social distancing even easier.

This is a hidden gem. A quick serene, relaxing, and enjoyable hiking trails. The main trails are nicely maintained. The trails are easy enough for young kids yet even the most experiences hiker would enjoy. If you have young kids, bring along a towel and let them enjoy several beautiful sections of Eagle Creek as they play in the water and learn to walk on slick rocks where they may Accidentally fall into the water. You may need some bug spray depending on the time of day and year you hike/walk/run the trails. As you walk near Eagle Creek, I find it hard to believe his little creek that feeds the large Eagle Creek Reservoir located within a few miles of the end of Trail #3.

A very good place for a family walk. The trails are around 2 miles if take the longest round 1-2-4-2-1. A lot of shadow with occasionally exposure to the sun. No many bugs when we were there. Will visit again.

Nice place for a hike, very aesthetically pleasing section of forest, and unlike some moderate to higher trafficked trails, this place still looks great. Its clean, well maintained, and you can tell most people stay on the trails and dont trample the undergrowth of the woods.

The trails are well marked and nicely done. None are very difficult so very kid friendly. Gives you great views of the river and also access to the Rail Trail.

Hidden gem in the middle of Zionsville! This is a lovely park with 5-6 looping trails that also connects to the Zionsville Rail Trail. Runners and dog walkers are common. This is on my way home and a great alternative to the dreaded treadmill.

Really nice park, a little overgrown on trails but nothing too bad. They installed new stairs to replace the old wood ones. The bad thing is my dog is terrified of the grating.

I love Starkey Park, its huge and has lots of nice trails to hike alongside eagle creek. If you want a free alternative to going into Eagle Creek Park, definitely go to Starkey. Just be warned that parts of the trail often get flooded or very muddy.

Its a lovely park with lots of nice long trails. However its important to note that the trails are not stroller friendly and even some of the bridges and staircases are not child friendly as they are a bit beat up and unsafe for little ones. Overall its still a lovely park.
