My husband & I did the Tunnels Under London & it was absolutely amazing! Very detailed and a good time. Dave the game master was funny & polite. Highly recommend!!! Reasonably priced as well! Checkem out

This exceeded our expectations. My kids and I brought my wife here as a surprise for her birthday. We ended up having such fun that my wife wants to go back and try the other room. It involved us working as a team. It is great family fun. I cant remember the last time we all played a game as a family. Dave the host was great and made the experience enjoyable.

Time Machine room was so well done and detailed! We’ve done many escape rooms and this one did not disappoint! Definitely want to go back to do Tunnels Under London! Lol, I’ll confess I felt highly skeptical when we drove up to a rather rundown warehouse in the middle of nowhere (which made sense given their huge haunted house). But inside was very nice and detail was great!

Best adventure ever. Highly recommend Jeanette u are an amazing host. Thank you for the great adventure

What an awesome night with friends! So much fun laughing and solving the riddles to escape the tunnels of London! David was an awesome guide that helped us get pumped and through the room! Perfect event for all ages and groups large or small! Thank you for a fun place to get together! We will definitely be back for more!

This was amazing! DAVE WAS THE BEST! So funny and nice and very helpful. He definitely deserves a raise. We bonded as siblings and our mom is VERY happy!-the two sisters

My family came here for my daughters birthday and we had a blast. We worked together and laughed the entire time. Before we knew it our time was up! Would definitely do it again

My friend and I had a blast solving the time machine! We cant wait to go back. I felt like a kid again and that is priceless.

Wonderful! The Dungeon of Doom teams set building experience applies marvelously to the escape room experience; the theming is very well carried out floor to ceiling. My group considers ourselves seasoned escapists and we got to enjoy some totally new puzzles, lots of interesting highly collaborative without being annoyingly dependent on one person running back and forth trying to memorize or write things down or scream them across the room. Compared to a lot of other escape rooms in the area there were less traditional locks. There was no laundry list of Okay, so we need a 4 digit number, 3 two digits numbers for the safe, a 5 letter codeword, a 4 letter code word with the colors blue, green, yellow, red, two different types of keys and a key card... so the whole sequence felt more organic. We did the Tunnels of London and will definitely be back to do the Time Machine and any future rooms they offer!

Had a BLAST!!! The time machine room was aw esome. We made it out with only 8 minuts left. The game master was so cool. He had a fake leg and kept us laughing the entrie time. Think his name was Dave.HIghly recommend. Will return with a bigger group ASAP.

Had such a fun time doing the escape room! Something that the whole family can do. Really creative & feels real.

Went with my wife and her parents for her birthday and did the time machine. It was great fun! The game master was awesome and he gave us a little glimpse of the halloween haunted house, so now were excited about that as well as the other escape room. Weve done a few of them now in different places, but we unanimously agreed that we had the most fun on this one.

The parents were dreading waiting an hour for the kids to do the escape room and ended up having a great time watching them. The man who guided the boys was awesome and as parents vwe had a fun time watching and laughing at the kids teeing to get thru the clues. It boys had a great time too. Thank you for a great time.

This was so much fun! My group is looking forward to coming back for another challenge. Thank you!!

Had a great time. We went through the Time Machine and with their help we made it through. They wanted to know how much help we wanted.... Very accommodating. The room was cool with engaging puzzles and unexpected twists. Well done. We will be back and highly recommend them for escape rooms.

Our first time doing an escape room and even though we didnt make it out we would totally do it again! Dave was awesome and very patient with some newbies

My whole family LOVED this escape room. Everything in the rooms is hand-crafted, and you can definitely tell. Its a completely immersive experience! We did the Time Machine room, and everything in it was so cool---really made you feel like you were building a time machine. The story was exciting, and there were some great interactive elements to it. Our family completed the mission, and well definitely be back!

Great place! Very well themed, and everyone that worked there was super nice. Would highly recommend for birthday parties, group outings and any other event. Would definitely go back again!

This was such a fun time. The amount of detail that went into everything was amazing. My sister and nephew have done a ton of escape rooms in different states and they said it was the best one theyve been to. We did the Tunnels of London. There were 4 of us (adults and a 16 year old) and it was really challenging but fun. Dave was a great host. We want to come back and do the Time Machine next

It was a fun experience for being our first time doing an escape room. Dave was a friendly guy who helped us out a lot. Unfortunately, we didn’t escape on time but it was still really fun! Would definitely come back to try the other room.

First escape room Ive been to and Im hooked. Top-notch. Owners are great people. They show you a fun time. The Time Machine was challenging. The set was put together with detail. What are you waiting for? BOOK IT NOW!

The room was very well themed and design. The puzzles are very creative and different from one another. The whole place was very cool Aesthetically too. Also, out guide Dave was amazing; he was very helpful when it came to the puzzle and I very entertaining person too. Overall we had a great experience.

We had a great time playing the time machine game. A few things were tricky even with clues but we managed to make it out! Dave the game master was really friendly and a great host. Id like to get back some time to try the other game.

Most exciting and thrilling experience ever! Escape room was very well put together and the staff was superb!! If there was more stars Id give them that too. Will definitely come back for the harder one!!

Me and my friends had a great time at edge of escape. It was so easy to book an event with them. Dave was so much fun to work with! Would definitely recommend :)

My friends and I come together for annual “sibling game weekends” and the highlight of the weekend is usually an escape room. We were AMAZED by the amount of detail that went into the whole room and the amount of hospitality we were showed by Dave who got us excited for our mission and future adventures we could have there. The room itself was extremely difficult, but well worth it since that is exactly what we asked for! Although I am a person easily scared of all things scary, I will definitely come back to Edge of Escape in the future. Thanks Dave!!

I highly recommend this place. A group of 7 of us did the Tunnels Under London on December 28, 2019 and was able to escape the room with only 9 minutes left. We all truly enjoyed our ladies outing and especially our host Dave who made our experience a memorable one.

My friends have done a ton of escape rooms and this was the most challenging and authentic rooms we’ve been to so far. Dave was very enthusiastic and friendly during the entire experience. He was also super helpful since we needed A LOT of hints. We were stuck in the first room for a good amount of time and were losing motivation but Dave kindly helped us get through the whole thing and escaped when needed! Would have been sad to not have seen all the rooms that they had to offer. Thanks dave!

We went as a family as a birthday gift ( ages 13-50) and we’re super impressed with the room design & craftsmanship! The Time Machine room was very challenging and fun for all. Clues made our brains work overtime. Highly recommend this experience to all! Our Host was fantastic. Looking forward to our next Edge of Escape event. Thank you

Took one of my children, and 2 of their friends, to celebrate a birthday (all age 13). Our group of 4 was paired with another group of another adult and 3 children around the same ages. We did the London Tunnels room. Ive done a number of Escape Rooms all around the country, but I have to say the theming, design of the rooms, and the puzzles here were some of the best I have experienced. The puzzles were appropriately challenging and required a variety of skills and varying degrees of teamwork to successfully accomplish them. The staff was friendly and helpful.Well definitely be going back soon to attempt their other room.

I’ve been to this location twice and had a wonderful experience both times. The owner and staff are very personable and helpful, the rooms are made extremely well, and completing the rooms is always fun. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time.

Really liked this place a lot! We had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back to do tunnels of London next!

This place is awesome. We will definitely be coming back for another challenge. I highly recommend!!

We loved it! I have done a few escape rooms and this by far is the best, the staff is amazing and the decor in the rooms is fabulous. Will go back, and tell all my friends and family to go - Ann Manfredini

Amazing place! Feels so real once you make your way into... well, I wont spoil it!

Easily the best escape room I’ve been to. Decor, sound effects, challenging, but workable problems. The staff is welcoming and engaging. I highly recommend if you’re in the area.

This was a Fathers Day gift for my husband. We brought our 5.5 year old and 3.5 year old sons and they had a blast. Dave (our Game Master) was professional, helpful, and pleasant to work with. The design of the TIME MACHINE game/puzzles/environment were amazing. So much love, care, and attention put into each piece. Definitely want to go back for the TUNNELS UNDER LONDON without the kids (this one is supposed to be more difficult).

Incredible detail and unique puzzles. Really fun! We did the Tunnels of London. Highly recommend it

4 of us did the Tunnels of London last night and had a great time. Our host was Dave and couldnt have been more pleasant. I have done a half dozen escape rooms and this was the most detailed rooms that I have experienced. You actually felt like you were in the actual story location versus being in a room with some props and locks. I will definitely return to do the other room in the near future.

Thank you, once again for an amazing experience!!! We can not wait for your next Escape Room!!!I look forward to hosting my kids birthday party there in March and look forward to the Laser room!Keep up the great work!!

We played the Time Machine game and won! The game master (Dave) was very informative and funny. We had a great time and will definately be back for more!

Nice set design! We felt fully immersed in the story line. We had a very difficult room that I dont think we would have gotten as far as we did with clues... And still failed... but it was fun! We enjoyed the afternoon with three13 year olds to celebrate a birthday. Super cool staff. We look forward to coming back next month for the Dungeon of Doom!

This was a great experience! Thanks Dave for your amazing game mastering! Made it out with only 2 clues!

Went there October 30, 2019! Awesome set design and Tony was a pleasure and really passionate which is always a good sign! Thanks so much for the care you took in the place!

Was cool And fun! I had an Awesome experience while doing the puzzles

Wow, Wow, Wow! We’ve (couple with two kids, age 10 & 14) been to several escape rooms as a family. Enjoyed them all, but this was a whole other level. The creator (Tony, we were lucky enough to meet him on our visit tonight) designed and built it all, and it is crazy impressive! Truly Hollywood-level settings with no details left unattended. He shared the inspirations and details that he wanted to put into it all and he killed it! You would think that professional set designers from the big studios (heck, Tony basically is that) had done it all and spared no expenses. He’s a true artist and craftsman and we will seek out any other projects he does.Tonight we did the Time Machine room (stunning space, fun game play) and we will come back for the Tunnels of London soon. They will help you as much as you want them to (with kids we welcome lots of clues as we want to experience the whole game). Our kids raved as much as I am on the way home, wife too.Thank you Tony and Edge of Escape for being the best part of our winter break. Can’t say enough good things about you.

‘Time Machine’ and ‘Tunnels under London’ are two of my favorite escape rooms in Illinois. These are two of the most immersive rooms I have done in Northern Illinois and should not be missed. The effort spent making you feel you are really underneath London and in the lab of the time machine inventor is amazing! The location is off the beaten path but worth the drive. In addition the owners are very customer focused and will do whatever they can to make your experience enjoyable.

My sister Sherina & I attended this adventure together. We enjoyed trying to figure out the clues in order to get to the next clue. We had a great time working with other complete stranger. Every step was well planned. The Escape Room is a great adventure for family & friends. Being dependent upon the next person to help you solve the puzzle in order to obtain your freedom. Ill definitely go again, esp when there are new rooms available.

One of the most impressive escape rooms I have seen! The story line was interesting and the puzzles were creative. Every detail was perfect. Our guide was so nice and even gave us a preview of their new room that will be opening soon. Such a fun day out!

Our group of 8 had a great time! Definitely will be back to try the London room as well. Dave, our host, was funny and kept us entertained the whole time!

We did the time machine and it was awesome. Very entertaining.

This was our first time doing an escape room, and we really enjoyed ourselves! My husband found a Groupon, and we took his mom and grandma. All had a great time! The rooms have so much unique, impressive detail. Clearly, a lot of effort was put into the experience. We ended up working with a great group of four others, and we escaped with 01:18 to spare!Definitely will come back for the other one.

This place is really amazing. The detail and craft that was put into Tunnels Under London was so impressive. We had a great time interacting and working with our team who were complete strangers at first. We will definitely be back to do the Time Machine.

Definitely recommend going to this location! The set design is beyond amazing, the puzzles are unique and challenging, and the themes are pretty darn cool! For those new or those experienced, this is a must go.

Hands down the best escape room experience weve had. If youre considering going, book the outing - you will not be disappointed. The production level and details that have gone into this were astounding. The staff were professional and made the evening a positive experience. We did the Time Machine game, and I am looking forward to coming back some day and trying the other escape room game they have to offer. The staff will adjust the difficulty level to your liking to provide a very challenging experience or provide just enough hints so that you can get through the entire experience within the allotted time-frame.

Our group did the time machine escape room last night and it does not disappoint! We had a blast! The detail that is put into this room was incredible. We were so impressed that we tried to stay and do their other escape room in the same night! So much fun we can’t wait to go back!!!!

This was a fantastic experience and not like any other escape room out there! A deep story ties the challenging puzzles together all experienced in an elaborately decorated room. Looking forward to go back to try the new rooms as they are opened. A fantastic entertainment experience for your group of friends!

I read the reviews and thought they were fake. Honestly, when you have done 30+ escape rooms throughout Chicagoland and a few out of town, how could this be any different? We noticed it before we even got in the room. My 16 year old said, Wow, look at the detail. This was incredible!!!! Until you have been here you wont believe the difference. DO NOT MISS THE TIME MACHINE!!! When we were done we talked to our host for about 15 minutes. They do kids birthday parties and can help even the younger kids be successful. They are very accommodating and I would recommend you do it as a family, with colleagues or friends AND I would also do a younger kids birthday party here. They really have a great set up. Enjoy the Edge of Escape! We will be back.

So much fun!

I brought my team here for a team-building event in Dec 2018, and we had a fantastic time. This was the best escape room Ive been to. Its incredible to see how these rooms were created from scratch! Well done!

Best escape room ever. And we have done alot of them. The effects and props were awesome

Such a great time! The rooms are very well thought out, and very interesting. The owner is also super friendly, which amplified the experience!

Jeannette was an awesome host! Went with my brother who is also college age and my parents. Whole experience was very professional and well thought out with tons of detail. We all ended up having a fun filled adventure through time!

AMAZING experience! Incredible attention to detail in the set design and a few surprises you wont be able to see coming. David Q. was a friendly game master who helped us out just when we needed it and we somehow managed to finish with under a minute left! Well definitely be back for the other room.

Really impressive escape rooms. The host clearly put a ton of thought into each one and does really neat work to make them original and fun

This was my first escape room ever and it was so much fun! I had no idea what to expect but the experience was all around incredible. The entire inside is decorated so well and so fitting to the theme. Every single detail is well thought out and put together so well. Every room and piece is well made and works well. The storyline was well thought out and creative and fun to follow! We also loved the staff who were very friendly and fun! We went with a group of 8 and we all agreed we would definitely go again! 10/10 recommend going!

Awesome experience! This was my first escape room, and it certainly wont be the last. It was a blast for the whole family! Also, the Game Master clearly enjoys what hes doing and he gave us just the right amount of help throughout our time.

We went here with a group of coworkers to the Tunnels Under London. The room was detailed, well thought out and put together well. We worked with one of the owners; she was very kind and fun to work with, we enjoyed having her host us. Im so glad we went.

A very good experience

This place is awesome! Great detail to the rooms, makes it very realistic! We had an great time trying to solve this!

This was a wonderful experience our daughter wanted to do something exciting/different for her birthday so we chose to try an escape room! Amazing!! everyone is engaged trying to find clues great team building opportunity. We couldn’t stop talking about it on the ride back home! Thank you we look forward to the new room to be completed.

My wife brought me here as a late surprise birthday outing, and we had a blast! The main host and staff did an amazing job explaining the course and expectations. He was EXTREMELY friendly and wanted nothing but for us to have fun during our time. I would definitely recommend anybody to go to this for any type of event. The theme, story, graphics, and tasks were all awesome! The only things I would suggest is a bit better ventilation in the actual rooms, but that is very minuscule to the overall production and experience. Just wear thinner or less clothing for this outing, especially if you sweat easily or quickly. This was our first experience doing something like this and going to one of their productions. Even though we didnt win by like 2-minutes, we still walked out with smiles on our faces due the challenge and amazing service! We definitely will be back, if the theme ever changes, and we will be visiting their Dungeon of Doom this year as well (which will be our first time also). We cannot wait for another tantalizing experience!

Fantastic design, the staff were helpful with instructions, the room we did, (below London) was well done. Not going to deny that we needed hints.. and all hints we received still made us think about the resources and puzzles in question. In the end, for a first time doing an escape room, Edge of Escape is a good start to a fun family side event.

They had an awesome time. Dave Q is an awesome host. We cant wait to go back when Tunnels of London is finished. Everyone should go and enjoy the fun. Im pretty sure we will be booking a birthday party soon.

Such a great birthday party! We had already been through the Escape Room as adults prior to the party so it was great to see how they can modify it for children. Our twins turned 11 and they and their friends loved the challenge! Also, the Laser Challenge was a huge bonus to the party. They loved it. We, as parents, loved how easy this party was. The party host was exceptionally professional and made everything run smoothly while we got to sit back and enjoy the party. The facility was incredibly clean too! I highly recommend this as a party venue!

The set and design quality was phenomenal and the puzzles were unique. My partner in crime and I have done 50+ escape rooms and this one blew us away.

Family friendly escape room. We have done both of their escape rooms and look forward to them opening another escape room. I have been to escape rooms in various parts of the country and this is by far the best escape room we have been to. I took my 14-year-old and his friends. The staff is very family friendly and they taylor hints for the age group that is doing the escape. Many escape rooms pride themselves on being difficult and leave kids frustrated and unable to feel any success. The staff here gives just the right amount of support to children to help them feel successful and to keep them from becoming overwhelmed and frustrated. I wish all escape rooms were as family-friendly as this location.

It was awesome, very well planned out and so many great details! Went for a bachelorette team activity and it was amazing!

Hands down the best escape room EVER, the special effects are insane...we didn’t know what to expect when we walked in but we were blown away. Tony and his crew are masters at this craft, and it doesn’t get any better than this. We had some time to reflect and chat afterwards and the whole experience was super rewarding, it’s like you are in a TOTALLY new environment- you really forget where you actually are. You won’t find anything like this ANYWHERE around here!-Shelbiee, Stone :)

By far my favorite escape room. The fact the owner built it all himself adds to it. The room was challenging with a ton of character which makes for a perfect escape room! Will be there again to try the other.

We had a great time! It was our first escape room, and we didn’t know what to expect. Both our children were able to contribute. Our guide was so great with them, encouraging the whole time. The kids can’t wait until the next escape room is complete!

I took my niece and nephew here and they had an amazing experience. The owner and his employee did a great job tailoring the escape to their level so they werent just stuck on one clue the entire time. Although I could see it being a challenging escape for adults with no clues, which is exactly what youre looking for in an escape room. The best part of the experience was the attention to detail within the escape room and the entire story. Everything was so in-depth and super creative. The owner was super passionate about creating an amazing experience and also mentioned he was working on a few more rooms. I will definitely be back again!

I did it with my mom sister and best friend for my birthday...it was so much fun the owner was really nice and it looked so good

Just an overall great time.

Awesome game. The production value is the best Ive seen. Put on your thinking caps. This one is a brain burner.

Took a group for my wifes birthday and wasnt disappointed. Dave was an awesome host and the rooms were very well constructed and detailed. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to the new room that should be available sometime in August. Check this place out!

This was our first escape room experience and had a great time! The staff was awesome and the game and design were excellent.

Amazing escape room! Very clever puzzles, and everything was custom built. Id recommend it to anyone who enjoys escape rooms!

Best escape rooms I have been to! Visually stunning and completely submersive. Interesting storylines and challenging puzzles. Only wish they had more than two rooms so we could keep going!

We just left and had a great time. The amount of work and craftsmanship that went into that room was incredible. Was challenging and very fun. Dave was great too! Will be back when the other room opens and for dungeon of doom. Would highly recommend going here

This is a MUST if you’re in the area! I was in a party of 6 and we had a great experience getting through the room. It was very challenging but we managed to escape with 9 minutes left thanks to Ripley! We will definitely be back in the summer when the new room opens! :)

Fun, just enough complexity, reccomend!

Such an amazing experience. Such good hospitality and very fun. I want to go back!

After doing other escape rooms, this one is among the best. Challenging enough to keep your heart racing. Game master keeps you moving throughout the game so you can get the total experience. Definitely a must try!!! We will be back for future rooms.

We went with our kids and friends for a rainy afternoon adventure - what a blast! The facility is well kept and professionally designed/styled. I honestly felt like I was at Disney World with all the attention to details. Our guide was also super friendly. Our mission was to help a time machine inventor, trapped in time, which actually included a ride on the time machine itself! Let me tell you, Ive never been in a time machine but this was beyond realistic and my favorite part! Great for team building or just a blast into the past. Kids (aged 10-13) and adults tested and approved. Cant wait until the next room is finished, we will return. :)

It was a great experience! The theme and finding the clues was very inventive we had a wonderful time working together to complete the puzzle

This was an absolutely fantastic room! Its obvious that a lot of care and effort went into every detail, from the decor to the puzzles. Ive done a lot of escape rooms and this was easily one of the best that Ive ever done, with a lot of really cool things Ive never seen in any rooms. I highly recommend the Time Machine and Im eagerly awaiting the next escape room that Edge of Escape opens!

I have never experienced an escape room before this one and I can say I will forever recommend this place for new comers and escape veterans. The room was just challenging enough to be fun but not aggravatingly difficult. The astetics are amazing and it is imaculate in regard to cleanliness. The owner Tony is huge part of the magic. He is so friendly and really goes the extra mile to create a memorable experience.

Really fun and the owner, Dave, was really nice!

Very creative escape room, cool suprises, and friendly owners.
