I found the golf course to be well maintained despite the area undergoing heavy rains for 2 days. The carts were cleaned plus an added heavy clear plastic barrier was installed between driver and rider for COVID-19 precautions if needed. Friendly staff for checking in both in the clubhouse and on the course. I will be returning next week and hopefully for the reason of the winter.

My husband and I came to play a round of golf and was turned away because there wasnt any available tee times. Plus the proshop guy was rude when turning us down. I added pictures of what the parking lot looked like. It sure didnt look busy to us. Parking lot was bare! Looking at the reviews the only 5 stars reviews mostly come from the residents that live here.

Tees and greens are advertised as new, definitely not even close. There are a few that still are decent, but theres dry and dead spots everywhere. Still like playing the course, it does present a decent challenge.

Love our beautiful home here in Southport springs. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Couldn’t be happier.

Would have gave a 5 if we could have got some beer on the turn. Also greens need a little work. All in all great course. We will be back.

Loved this track, the yardage is shorter. But it challenges you on both 9s. It is very well maintained and easy to navigate hole to hole. The staff is nice and very helpful I would definitely come back and play this again!

Staff very friendly, aerfication was recently done on the greens, Little bumpy still playable. Some fairways narrow and look as they were just sliced . Tees need some work . But enjoyed my first time playing

Having lived at Southport for 18 yrs. I can honestly say it is a great place to live.If, however, you are looking for a golf community this might not be the right place. You pay $2,000.00 to join the club plus annual dues which are about $2000.00 per year. Members could be classified as 2nd class as all member leagues and events are relegated to afternoon times. This is to allow outside play to have the prime times.Sun has spent a lot of money upgrading the course and wants to recoup their investment. It however should not be at the expense of the members. Sun must have known when they purchased the property that the golf course was not profitable and never would be. It was strictly for selling homes.

Don’t bother playing golf here. They don’t need your business. They seem to be making so much money that they turn people away. I’ve been there twice now and there’s always some reason I can’t get on. I’m looking for a place close to my house that I can get on easy two or three times a week- this is obviously not the place.

What a charming little course this is. Not the most difficult track around but some VERY distinctive holes. You have to have every shot in the BAG!!#

My grandparents lived here for about 5 or 6 years we just lost our grandma right before the holidays so papa is now living with my aunt and Wesley Chapel but the grounds on this property is absolutely gorgeous my grandparents Place sits right on the main Golf Course so you have more privacy and its just beautiful they do have a clubhouse with bingo they have a restaurant pool jacuzzi tennis you name it theyve got it. I will miss going there and see my grandparents they were so good to them while they were there their place is still there its for sale right now but its going to be hard to drive by and not go in it is a great place to live year-round or just during the winter they have many many many amenities and their rent lot rates are great. Must take a drive through and see for yourself and see everything that you have right there it is such a beautiful quiet remote place to live and if you are active there is plenty for you to do as well

Food is very good. Service was good. However more staff is needed. Pricing good too.The Pulled Pork Nachos were excellent.Well stock needs to be upgraded.Overall a great time after a days work.New furniture in the restaurant has made a big change and looks great.

Moved here 8 years. Great place to retire. Residents are wonderful. Very active community with numerous activities

New and used prefab home sales. 18 hole golf course, Pro Shop, 2 Clubhouses, ballroom, continuous array of activities/tours, Parkway Tavern and dinning, sauna, spa, tennis courts, shuffle board, exercise room, heated pool, handicap parking and access to facilities, long term vehicle/RV/trailer storage. Friendly, well maintained gated senior community.

Grass too wet and tall.. Golf cart rental too pricey and foods

If you are a grandparent do not under any circumstances buy in this park. The residence are very unfriendly to children. The lot rent is way to high and they have a Pasco County Tax that they pass on to the mobile home honers. I am very unhappy here and want to sell as soon as possible

Lovely development and clubhouse. Popped by for the holiday craft fair & bake sale - No new crafts, just the tired same old tried and true crocheted kitchen towels, wreaths, beaded jewelry, etc. Bake sale, meh. Not much to pick from.

Staff was very rude and unprofessional from right after I paid to play on this crappy little course, throughout my game on this mushroom infested course, and as I was leaving this dump.Avoid this place as it is overpriced and the staff are a bunch of old curmudgeons.
