Great place for children lots of beautiful view and a nice little hike little spot for dogs, basketball, and a great memorial at the top and the front of the park

We only saw this in the dark; we tried for dark skies to see the comet. No comet, but lots of stars, and a very pleasant and safe-feeling place to spend an evening. With its plentiful benches, grassy areas, and playground, it looks like a great place for a daytime visit.

Beautiful, clean park. Love going here with my family to take our dog on walks.

Flag park is a good park to visit. The playground area is constantly shaded which is good for the kids as they play. The bathrooms are relatively clean considering its a public park. The basketball court is cool too, and the walking trail to the view point is pretty awesome.

This park is on a hill with the best overlooks of the valley, Great for photos atsunset or any clear day. Beautiful memorials to the Veterans and the park ends at a cliff with a 50ft cross and the Lookout over the city

A little less like a park that commemorates the brave veterans and more like a glorified parking lot

It is a small park but its in a very tranquil spot. It is very nice just to take a walk up the Flag Hill or just sit around in the many spots they have for sitting area. This park also has a play area for the children. The views are beautiful all around. This Memorial Park pays good tribute to those whom have served!

What a well kept secret. This is a beautiful, well maintained park with gorgeous views. This was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. It is bigger than it looks at first sight. It has a half mile walking loop, benches and pretty trees with shade. Given the peacefulness it is a perfect spot for meditation!

I used to go here in the Early 70s...this park has CHANGED ALOT...5/15/20...WOW MICE DIFFERENCE TOO FOUND SHADE AND RELAXED!!!

The viewof Yucaipa is beautiful! Nice short trails. Bathroom simple but clean.

A very nice spot to stroll,with a beautiful view at the end of the mountain range. And Christians will appreciate the cross.

This park is more beautiful than ever, when I was a young boy about 25 years ago I found a man on Christmas Eve who had tried to commit suicide, this park is always been a big part of my life and Im proud to see how much work theyve done to it. It has a track that you can walk on and make a full circle and a 1/2 mile. The view is like no other in Yucaipa I had to visit this place and the Yucaipa point off of the boulevard both are still so beautiful

I respect the memorial very much but Im pretty confident that its haunted. Just dont be afraid God is with you

Great park to hang out and walk and play basketball and they have playground for kids and the best part for me is once at the top the view is the best part for me

This park had always been a treat. It is quiet and relatively isolated from much of the town, so its a great place to take the kids. There are basketball hoops and a playground, but otherwise there isnt much in the way of activities. There is, however, a wide area of grass that would be good for picnics or catch.Its multiple hiking trials that wrap around the park are great for exercising, as they provide no incline up to moderate incline running opportunities.Theres also the courtyard at the front that has the best view of the town. The archway and cross are great for spiritual fulfillment, and just about the entire park is photogenic.A great place to go on any sunny day. My personal favorite is to go up the day after a rain, its the most picturesque then.

Had so much fun with family members at our reunion.

Bathroom doors are unlockable and mess... so thats awesome. I get it cause we need safety first but its a bit extreme.

Great quiet park. Has half basketball court, bathroom, playground for kids, tables, grills and lots of shade..My only concerns are the homeless are seen sleeping and loitering around a lot.

Great jungle gym, basketball court, and plenty of wide grassy areas and picnic tables. Mostly clean bathrooms too. The only problem with them is they are single person and dont lock lol. I had my kid lean against the door to use it. Great view of yucaipa and and surrounding valley at the flagpole as well.

As we leave Fremont Heights daily we can see the stars and strips flying. Reminds me why we serve our country.

A small beautiful park where i like to go to remember my service time and friends i left who passed. Its comforting to read the plaques and see wonderful families enjoying the beauty of the park.Siempre Fi!

Not like it used to be, peaceful, relaxing, and free of audio listening devices because people had to ruin that for everyone... But nonetheless, retains all of its historical value and history.

We live 2 blocks from the park and visit often. My younger kids love the playground, and my oldest likes to bring his basketball and shoot hoops. Every now and then we bring the street hockey net, sticks and roller blades. Lots of room to play or picnic and the best view in town!

The view is amazing I got to start of with I couldnt stop looking and then the stories up there are so touching as well me and kids read them all enjoy the beauty natural the park is always clean friendly environment I love bringing my children there they love it no doubt and as for me enjoy the free time I get after they play play and then we get home and shower and off to bed!!! Or a nap the walking trail is a great thing to have of course we have probably make it better so maybe a volunteer program or adopt a park thing to clean the weeds,and empty bottles thrown about but definitely a site to see so if you are ever around dont hesitate to stop by.

I have always loved this Park and its clean and safe. I take my 2 dogs there and they love it. There a playground and BBQs theres a memorial at the top of the park my uncle is on the memorial. His name was Michael Myers. We are related to the stater Bros and sisters. My dad is Michael Myers younger brother. Michael would work for his uncle at the stater Bros before he went to WW2 he died in Poland. I would go to Christmas partys at the stater sister when I was little. This Park holds a lot of history for my family.

Great playground for kids with bathrooms close by and a beautiful lot of grass for picnics or relaxing. My only complaints are that the bathrooms have no doors and that people leave cigarette butts and condom wrappers on the actual play ground...

Nice park to walk at while kids play

Most favorite spot in all of yucaipa! There is a spot where at the back of the park is an area where there is a giant flag enclosed in a huge stone circle overlooking the city. Its at the very top of yucaipa... so when you are at the flag and go to the stone wall and overlook the city you can see all the lights from redlands, loma linda, san bernardino, highland, calimesa, banning, beaumont... anyways when you are there under the flag overlooking the city lights or at sunset the view is really magical... so bring that special someone and go over there and check it out... trust me you wont regret it one bit!!!

Its a beautiful park, and it even has a trail that you can walk.

Flag hill park is a fun place for the kids and has plenty of grass to picnic.

Too many transients now. Will not go back. Took my toddler to play there and not very comfortable place anymore. Yucaipa should have never started processing inmates outa Yucaipa.
