Beautiful scenery with lots of trees, wilderness, great places to eat. Fresh produce. Where humans have built around nature instead of tearing it down. This is a town that anyone could love.

Wow! What a great find! This place looks great with lots of parking and fun things to do. We actually got there a little late in the day but the people that work there are so nice, they opened the axe throwing range back up just for us! Totally recommend and we will definitely be back again.

Its all gorgeous, but take a walk up the hill and find Twisted Oak BBQ (or drive around to one of the upper parking lots). Most excellent BBQ! Served by a wonderful crew. Thanks, guys!

It was a nice experience. Kinda like a mini street fair in a way and some little stores. The apple pies from apple Annies is soo good. I suggest you pre order them online the day before you go like i did.

If youre looking into a weekend drive. Really recommend this place. Live music and a variety of food places and shopping for those authentic items.

Love this place, been coming here for better than 50 years. Makes for a good one day trip, crafts, fun things to do, good food and best apple pie and ice cream around. Always get the cider as well

We stopped at Oak Tree Mountain after visiting Snow line Orchard on its last weekend of Apple season. We wanted dinner before heading home. Although it was my first time, I could tell the shops were recently updated. The shops looked nice! We were going to eat at Apple Annie but saw the sign for Bbq and headed up the hill to Twisted Oak. They were shutting down but the Pit Master didnt turn us away. He told us he only had Tri tip left and could make us sandwiches. We werent picky and gladly accepted. He was very kind, the tri tip was AMAZING! I LOVED the seasoning and you can tell it was cooked on a well seasoned grill. I cant wait to go back and try more bbq. It was our first time in Oak Glen and we thought it was a great little town to do a day trip. Oak Tree Mountain was nice surprise and a great way to end our trip. A must see place with great food and inexpensive entertainment.

Lots of fun. We stopped in to go to the petting zoo. There are several different activities for the kids, and adults, to do. The petting zoo was fun. All the animals were friendly and would eat food right out of your hand.There is a trampoline park for the kids to jump around on. Inflatable bounce and slides. Axe throwing. Trout pond. Duck pond.Be sure to stop in for some pies!Also a little trick. There is additional parking at the top of the property. It’s a dirt lot but it drops you at the top by the bathrooms and kids activities.

Complete waste of time! Half of the zoo was burned down. Nothing is open, no staff or employees to talk to or ask for assistance. Bakery and the front shops are open but all the attractions are closed. Hundreds and hundreds of people walking around with nothing to do. 1-2 hour wait just to eat at the restaurant. They shouldnt be open until they finish remodeling

This is my third time visiting and its the best way to welcome fall! Makes me feel like the holidays have started! We love the Apple pie a la mode, the petting zoo, and the gorgeous fall colors! They also have the coolest candy store! Definitely a fall tradition!

It was a perfect day. Weather was nice, lots of activities, apples were delicious, and of course so were the pies. Lots of people and hard to find a parking spot. My favorite was the Stone Pantry Orchard. You pick your own, and get to make your own cider.

Oak Tree Village is a true hidden gem. Only a little over an hour away from Los Angeles, we didnt have to get stuck in traffic going up the mountain to Big Bear.Perfect for families looking to just have some good old fun in the snow (not for ski sports). There was enough snow for a snowball fight, snowman or snow angels.The village is cute and definitely a throw back to simpler times. Unfortunately it was closed but I can see it be a fun day trip in the summer.

False advertising!!! Amusement Park?? How?Where?

Get there early enough to find parking, and this is a fun place to spend an afternoon. In the winter theres snow to play in. In the fall, theres plenty of places to pick apples and berries. And in the summer- plenty to eat! Be sure to pick up a sky high apple pie ^_^

Overpriced apple pie. Overpriced beverages. Overcrowded parking lot. This could be a bucolic place but it is a commercialized destination.

We live in Oak Glen and we love Oak Glen! Our grandkids love the village during Christmas or just to go to their many events. Apple season harvest is our traditional family event.

Lots of fun! Too much to see in one day so we definitely will have to go again! We were sad that the train wasnt running that weekend but maybe it was because it was so busy. I didnt see tracks so maybe it just drives around. Everything else was a great experience! Dont miss out on the pony ride for the kids. For everyone, dont miss the petting zoo...and make sure you save a food cup for the animals in the cages after you exit the petting zoo area! They definitely feel left out! Leave room in your tummy for all of the treats in the park!

This place used to have fun stuff to do. Now there are barely any shops and activities. They do have a petting zoo which is overpriced and dirty. Apple Annies is the only place holding it together. Hopefully next year it will be better because we enjoy this area.

Its beautiful up there. They just recently did some remodeling and it looks great! Also go during apple season it gets a little crowded but its worth it. Getting there early may be best, time flys and theres so many things to do.

Cool place to take the family. Definitely would not spend the entire day there but its cool to take the kids the apple pie and ice cream is really good it looks like theyre starting to build a couple more places and add a little more entertainment very excited to see whats coming.

Up in the mountains. Warm weather (mid-October). Fresh variety of apples. Nice little shops and stands. Great drive and great location for families.

Always a great place to visit. Atmosphere is what its really about. It a slower pace, vintage feal with modern access. Once a year at the very least i like to visit and get away.

Been here twice and will be coming back. Kids love the Animal Park, main part of going there to feed the animals. Much fun, $6.00 a person.

We enjoyed browsing in the shops. The shopkeepers were all really friendly and nice to chat with. We also enjoyed strolling through the petting zoo and visiting the animals there. Of course the peacocks were beautiful! Great way to spend the afternoon.

What a wonderful short trip to experience the mountain regions. We were lucky to enjoy the snow as well.

I was pretty sad when I visited this year. Most of the really neat shops at the bottom are gone now. However,the candy store is awesome and worth the visit.

This is a fun little stop if youre heading to Oak Glen. You can find all kinds of hand made good and other nicknacks as well as delicious apple pies. Apple Annies is the go-to restaurant in the plaza, but service is slow and theyre often out of food. Theres a petting zoo and even a small pond for fishing, but be prepared to pay a little extra for the novelties. It looks like there are going to be some major renovations soon... The place has a lot of potential!

If you’re looking for variety this is the place to go. They have different shops offering anything from moccasins to Indian jewelry to alpaca fur clothing made in Peru. I recommend buying caramel from their candy store (it comes with wooden sticks) to hand dip your own caramel apples. Be aware that during apple season this is a very popular and busy location making it difficult to find parking. Recently they’ve been charging people $5 to park in the lot across the street for all day parking if you don’t want the hassle of finding parking along the road. There is parking in the back of the building that usually has a few spots available but is just overlooked.

Local village with lots of family fun activities! Problem is that it get packed after noon and parking is very limited. Long lines for public restrooms. Use restrooms prior to arrival and if you can, find parking nearby...

Great place!

Oak tree village is absolutely amazing. If you go in the leather shop, however, dont touch anything unless you plan on buying it. The workers there are a bit, snooty if you will. Lol. So this is great place to get out and stretch your legs and walk around. You definitely need your walking shoes. You can bring your wheel chail here but I dont suggest it as there are a lot of inclines and most areas have steps. You can buy sweets and and coffee. Great place for lunch. If youre looking for cheap fun then just look around. If you want to purchase anything from to food to souvenirs then plan on spending extra.

Such a quant small candy store with different varieties of old fashion treats like fudge, candy apples and other goodies!

A very charming place to take your whole family.

The museum burnt down and now the whole area is being renovated. It has lost it old charm and its just another tourist trap that has lost all its appeal. The service at the restaurant is really bad and rude and slow.

Well, I took my kids to this place because an ad I read on Facebook said Christmas in July, there was nothing Christmas about it and besides the berry picking down the road most of everything is over priced and a little rundown, and the have a little petting zoo, which one of the pigs bit my wife...lolThe fishing pond would be nice if it wasnt 16 dollars a fish, not to mention they charge for a pole and other services... They clean and put the fish on ice. All and all, its a nice place if your looking for handmade antiques and woven blankets.

The family and I went here to go apple picking and stopped by every place we could. This little village is exactly what we needed... Good ol wholesome fun. We ate at one of the restaurants, ate some fudge at the candy store and enjoyed the little band they had playing that day. After getting home we made a homemade apple pie with some of the apples we picked (just like grandma use tip do ) I would definitely recommend this place for a family outing.
