Its very a serene place, especially in the morning. Even in the summer you can see the mist rise off the grasslands. The large storks seem to contemplate their existence as they stand stoic in the water. Lily pads sitting on top of the water display such vibrant greens.

This is a great place to take the kids out bluegill fishing. And view wildlife

Its really pretty but a lot of places people have ruined it by dumping trash, people suck!

Nice place to fish, hunt, and hike. just be careful that the place isnt flooded before you go there. But overall it fails to disappoint.

I hiked back in, took a wonderful picture of The Buttes, and wildlife. Good outing for entire family and dogs.

Multi species fishing, large, 20 plus catfish.

Great place to let the dogs run. Quite, peaceful and a short drive from town.

Went cat fishing and had a really good time. Caught a few but nothing big

No need to visit unless you hunt. Only hunters allowed in, any watching of waterfowl must be done from from a short paved road
