Just went this past Saturday, this was my third year visiting Night Terrors. As usual it was really fun. I wasn’t sure how things would be this year with COVID, but they transitioned very well and have actually made the lines move faster then ever, which I thought was great. The staff was great and I was shocked at how easy they made it when I wanted to change my ticket time. They seriously could not have been nicer. The asylum was the best as always! I actually thought it was scarier this year then it has ever been, which kind of took me by surprise. I think because things moved so fast that it was hard for me to get my bearings. Overall it was great, awesome actors and atmosphere.
Theres nothing I hate more than running into the group in front of us by the group behind us catches up, glad the price came down because of the rain. The animatronics were good and a couple actors had great dialogue, though the hype I have heard of this haunt was not as thrilling as I had hoped. To respond to the reply, if we walked any slower, we would have been standing still. All I heard you say was, thanks for my money. Have a great rest of your season.
Our family of 5 purchased tickets online for $122 which includes a $17.50 service fee which is ridiculous. Way overpriced. The hayride was not even scary, lasted maybe 10 minutes which includes riding in the dark down a dirt rode with absolutely nothing. Consisted mostly of props and maybe 5 people who would jump out at you. The scariest part was a snake jumping out at you at the end. Then there is another drive in the dark down a dirt ride with absolutely nothing. The websites says the Hayride was best for kids 12 years and older but my 9 year old wasn’t even scared. We were disappointed and decided maybe we should try to Asylum. The ticket stand stated they were not able to sell single tickets yet you could order them online for $18 plus a $3.50 per ticket service charge. What a rip off especially since we drove 1 hour out of our way to see this.
Great place for adults and probably appropriate for 13 years and up definitely not for younger kids! Will wait in a line but goes relatively fast and make sure you bring cash because there are much more things to do! Highly recommend for a date night.
This is THE BEST attraction around! We never miss a year. The haunted hayride is our favorite! They do an excellent job with the whole cider mill. Beautiful grounds, great cider and donuts! Take your family, its the best thing to do in October!!! A great family atmosphere. See you all soon.... :)
This place was no where near scary. They had good props but horrible acting. This place is basically kid friendly, your kids even babies wouldn’t get scared. This price was to high for how horrible it was here. If your looking for some fun try going to haunted farm of terror, rotten manner, or scare fest.
They ALWAYS severely limit availability. Seems reduced hours and close soon early in the season. Good exhibits just lacking in being open longer.
I’m not going to hate or love but I will say if you like props it’s fun not many actors may be due to covid-19 I do remember it being better I hope next year it’s better
I wish I could give this 0 stars I would not recommend save your money the haunted houses were all boring and the costumes were very bad. Also the staff was incredibly disrespectful.
Phenomenal night of great scares, amazing atmosphere, and the best cider around! We come year after year and it doesn’t disappoint. Haunted houses are carefully crafted, and the Hayride of the Lost is always a favorite, followed by cider and donuts at the fire pits. The hot cider is literately to die for, I’m sure all the ghosts and ghouls drink it! Caution: houses are great for teens but too intense for young children - hayride is good for all ages. See you next year!
Wasnt scared, but had fun
I won tickets, so my husband and i went there tonight and what can i say? pineapples.i got so scared that i screamed out pinapples, the hay ride was great starter to the night, my favorite is and will always be the mine shaft! and not because the actors mimicked my word pineapples. its because the really make the goosebumps appear, and kept me wanting to go again. Then the haunted barn had me peeing myself.5 bones definitely.thank you so much for the scares!!
Very fun! Would recommend to anyone, especially the hay ride. I just wish the circus haunted house had as much love put into it as the others, it felt rather incomplete in comparison.
This place was a blast! Loved all 5 attractions. My favorite was the haunted hay ride. Great times with the family. They kept to their no touching policy. However Im pretty sure the attendees kept accidentally bumping into each other in the dark zones. Also, I recommend buying tix online. The line to buy tickets was super-long, but we bypassed the line by purchasing online tix the morning of the event.
Few spots got me but over all wasnt the top on my list. Overall dont really think it was worth the price. The three haunts were something new for a haunt that Ive gone through but the barn was the last one I went through and the last room was totally not what I expected, separating men and women I was scared to see my group in the last portion just to get slammed into a dark hallway with 5+ groups I expected more on this and was disappointed but lower the price it would be a haunt I would go back to but just not for their price right now
We brought our family and had the time of our lives! Thank you to everyone that worked - you did an awesome job and will definitely be back.
They are a really cool place. The fireworks and fire juggler is awesome, BUT I feel like 15 minutes is just not long enough for a hay ride. Its a super cool ride and the scenes are great, but please make it longer. I understand this is probably your least popular attraction but please just add at least another five minutes
Very nice!!! The Hot Apple cider is to die for!!! The haunted attractions are scary and fun. A lot of teens come out for that so come early so you can be I. The front of the long line.
VERY LIMITED HRS. THEY CLOSE WITHOUT NOTICE. THEY TRIED TO OVER CHARGE US. IF YOU GET IN . . .NOT BAD BUT SEEMS TO BE POORLY RUN AND THE GENERAL STORE PRICING IS JUST. GOUGING. YIKES
I would give it between a 2.5 and 3. Scary? Not really. Funny? Yes. Entertaining but you want scary if you are paying 18 per person in a haunted house!! Other haunted houses are cheaper and scarier. I do like the decor and the lights outside the haunted houses including the fire twirler and people on stilts.
I can see why Wiards was voted one of the best in the nation. I like that the haunted houses could be enjoyed by kids and adults. After the hayride they even gave us free cider and donuts. Definitely a must visit in October
Awesome very scary and detailed haunted house. If youre are in the area I would recommend checking them out
Wonderful staff, beautiful nature and super clean. The cider and doughnuts are fantastic. Must family event of the fall season.
I was impressed. The animatronics, other SFX, and acting were all pretty amazing. It was a fun thing to go to as a group. Well worth the entry fees.
So much fun for all ages and they have a very friendly and passionate staff. I highly recommend this place!
Havent been here for a while- it used to be on both sides of the road, but wayyyyyy better now. Like they moved it to a whole new level! Went last Saturday, & it rocked! We did everything (theres 6 events). I generally dont scare too easily, but they got me a couple of times, & my girl a whole bunch (thats the idea, right?). They even had fire breathing people, a juggler for extra eye candy, which was different. The best event for me was the Mineshaft, with the Asylum a close second- off the chain! All in all, it was a great night!
We went for opening weekend to Night Terrors... It didnt disappoint!! We have only been to the daytime stuff before, & its been a while since weve been to a haunted house, but I figured they do such a good job for the Fair that it would make sense that their haunted houses would be good too. It was so cool! The atmosphere set the tone, & the haunts were scary enough (especially the main 3-- the barn, mineshaft & asylum) to make me jump & shout a few expletives on more than 1 occasion! overall a great night!!!
I loved it and its to have an amazing time and to get a little scared.
A little pricey. Did 3 haunted houses and the hayride. Haunted houses were pretty damn good, definitely better than the ones here in Toledo. Hayride was A lot of fun couldnt believe all the land that is there. An overall awesome experience.
We enjoyed our experience. Was great fun. They give you a startle. No one touches you. My kids had so much fun as did we. We came last year and enjoyed it. We will be back again next year. Love the apple cider, donuts and goodies at the store. This place is over priced. So be prepared. But still a good time.
If I could give this place no stars I would me my girlfriend my buddy and his girlfriend went last night for the hay ride and u would think for 20$ a head u would at least get a 20 minute ride. The ride was very short and played out u knew when someone was coming, my girlfriend is the biggest scardy cat I know and yet she was more scared going to the orchared then during the ride. The night was such a bust I didn’t even want to attempt to see how bad the houses were. You would think that all that money they get per person they would put more into there scare attractions. I would never recommend this place to anyone
I was not impressed at all. We only did the asylum and it was not worth it at all. We were a group of 3. We had to go in with 3 other groups. There was 9 people in our group. I am very easily scared and I didnt scream nore jump once. I did laugh at one point. It was very short walk through we walked out in the end and we all said thats it. We go to hunted attraction once a week starting at the end of September and this was so not worth the $18.00. Im Glade we only did one attraction we will not be back. The only good thing that we seen was all the security made us feel very safe.
Its OK not really scarey anymore its gone down hill alot in the past couple years
Too scary for very young ones but the brave will have things they can do. A fun hayride treats you to apple cider and a donut by a bon fire at the end. Haunted barn and mine shaft were scariest for me.
TLDR: bad bad loud bad greedy badSo disappointing. I remember when Wiards was legitimately frightening, and a good time.We used to go for just the hayride, but after a few years of no changes, we expanded our experience... and a couple of years ago, the Asylum, Mind Shaft, and Barn made up for the lackluster hay ride. This year, anticipating the same old hay ride, we got all 6 events and upgraded to VIP... $200 for 3 people. The Hay Ride of the Lost had many changes - new sets and lots of animatronics - apparently to make up for the lack of actors. The SplatterTown was as much fun as you can have in 45 seconds. Two caged clowns does not a haunt make.We skipped The Asylum, mostly because we couldnt identify the VIP line and the main line was really long. At near 11, with it feeling like Night Terrors would close at any minute, we didnt want to waste our tickets standing in line, and moved on to the Mind Shaft - a favorite from the past. The Mind Shaft was another big disappointment - from the lack of traffic control - even at the beginning where we were told you can go in whenever you want, but you might want to wait a bit to give the next group some time to kind of guessing when to go in and almost immediately running into the group in front of us. But the absolute worst part was the almost incessant, WAY TOO LOUD, noise. None of it really supported the scenes, and really it just seemed like noise for the sake of noise... Or maybe to cover the sound of compressors? Regardless, it was mind-rattling, and not in any scary way.Jarred and disappointed, we made our way to The Barn, where after asking the (I swear he was high) crowd control man, we joined the VIP area - there was no line - and awaited our turn. The greeter here did a great job with his character, and crowd interaction - but again, thats where the quality ended. The actors IN the haunt did nothing for traffic control... though thats probably because they had headache or were permanently deaf from the volume. This haunt exits through the gift shop, which is fine, but theres no clearly identified exit that doesnt lead past the cash registers.Save your money, have a good night - go to Hush and Panic.
Super realistic costumes, very terrifying
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. We went for the haunted hayride and were not impressed at all. For $19, Not only is it not scary at all, its like 8-10 mins long and that includes the ride out and back. The theme hasnt changed and like I said its not scary and I scare very easily.
I think its the best in Michigan as far as being scary but the price people cant afford
Ive been to bigger, more elaborate haunted houses that didnt cost this much. Talked to a guy in line who brought his three kids and paid for all three attractions. He spent hundreds of dollars.
Way too expensive. They seen to avoid giving you pricing on the website to be intentionality deceptive. The two haunted houses (labyrinth and alien clowns) my girlfriend and I wanted to try cant be bought as single attractions. We just turned around and left. I remember doing the same last year fie apple picking. These guys are trying to be deceptive.
Great value for haunted houses. Experience multiple thrills while getting delicious cider.
Lots of fun. Scared everybody in the group.
I was scared no joke at the sametime I had a lot of fun the good thing is that they dont touch you but they do get very close to you . You may feel Alittle uncomfortable but they are not allowed to touch you . If you are closer phobic you should not go in the mine shaft and if you have heart problems you should not go in at all and they do tell you not to go in if you have heart problems . IT IS VERY SCARY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !! Dont bring little kids you will give them the scariest experience of their life
Went here last year....The Clown House feeds off of your Fear, They will follow u to the next attraction....Because fear feeds them motivation lol seriously. Loved it, going back tonight!
I am very disappointed in this place . I had a group of 6 people and NONE of us got scared . the hayride wasn’t scary at all . they told us that the hayride was 30 minutes and it was literally 10 minutes tops !!! Also Let me say I had a 8 year old on the hayride and he didn’t get scared
Took kids on the haunted hayride last night. $19/per person for 10 minutes of LAME. A MAJOR disappointment. This is geared towards children 3-6 and should be advertised as such. I even told the clerk at the ticket booth not to go on it unless its free- its that bad. There were 11 people in our group; no one liked it. Even the donuts and cider afterwards was terrible. Who doesnt finish a cider mill donut? We wont be back.
Very fun spooky yet fun went with family had great time well worth the money
Always a great family favorite.
Waste of money
Great haunts great price
Liked it
Expensive but fun.
Phenomenal
Loved it.
Not bad. Very pricey for what it is.
Way too pricey and haunted hayride wasnt scary
Please !!!! Do not waist your time or your money !!! From the cider to the fresh donuts absolute garbage!! Its a rip off what they charge people to enter there so basic place .. there are many Apple orchards that are 100 times better !!!!!!!
More fun than it used to be
The haunted houses were great.
Kinda expensive....tooo hot
They need to come down on their prices for everything they are too high
Kids lik haunted house
The amount of money for a single ride is extreme... Way too expensive, would be nice if they didnt cost so much.
