So happy they are open again. Service was exceptional and their cleanliness is like that of a hospital. Theyve always been a clean theater, but due to the pandemic, its a whole new level of cleaning.The way their seats are arranged makes it easy to social distance and feel safs. If you go to the first movie of the day, ticket prices are less than $6 and there will not be any traffic.Dont delay, go see a movie today!

This is a POST COVID-19 review. The theater is very clean compared to before. Theyre doing a great job with the cleanliness of things. Each theater has been immaculate when we walked in to seat ourselves. The bathrooms arent perfect, but definitely cleaner than before. I witnessed them being clean at least twice in one visit so I do believe they clean their high touch areas every 30 minutes as advertised. Also, they enforce social distancing when purchasing tickets. Every seat purchased has at least 6 seats in between one another (3 on each side). My husband and I have gone twice since they reopened. My only complaint is that their concession stand is not fully operational during the week. They only serve hot food (nachos, pizza, pretzels, tenders, etc) on the weekends. If you come during the week, your only food option is popcorn and their other snack options are very limited. Other than that, our experience has been nice.

I felt at ease going to the movies here. They have taken extra measures for your health and safety while youre in the theater - great! Love being able to go to the movies again.

I purchased tix through Fandango for Tenet. The film cut out twice before an hour had passed in the movie. They couldnt get it to work again and they claimed they couldnt give a refund. They gave me 2 movie passes to come back... why would I waste my time and gas during a pandemic? At least the people were nice, the place was clean, but playing a movie was impossible for them tonight.

Great staff, very friendly!! They have lots of wonderful movies and the seating is pretty swell as well. I recommend that everyone go check out this movie theater.

I cant believe they have seats that move along with the action in the film. There were scenes that made me feel like I was in a flight simulator. That was totally awesome. Plus, the place is clean, spacious and modern. Loved it!!!

I like that all of the seats recline. Extra points for the fact that they are leather, more sanitary. As far as price, its not cheap to go to the movies anywhere these days. Unlike a lot of places, this one still has a discount day during the week. They always have the popular movies showing and at decent times. I have never had a bad experience here.

A great theater overall. They have luxurious seating situation and a great selection of options to choose from. The staff is friendly and happy to work there it seems the only minor compliant is that some of the seats in the theater when adjusting makes loud.. the best way to to describe it is a farting noise. But other than that. It is a great movie great theater and great prices.

Good weekend movie experience with family. The theater was clean, so comfortable seats and excellent sound quality (you can hear separate sounds from the screen and good surround sound as well). Staff is helpful and the popcorn is so buttery. Yum! One thing can be improved is the rewards. While you get 1 point per $ spent, think youll need to spend $175 to get enough points for a free ticket.

This is the largest movie cinema complex in Washtenaw county. The recent remodeling looks wonderful. I like the concession area and the convenience of the ticket kiosks/machines, and I absolutely love the leather recliners with cup holders. Everything is very ergonomic. They were thinking about us when they designed this.

The theatre inside is very nice and comfortable to lie down on those reclining chairs while watching the movie. The interior of the building and theaters is very nice and a very pleasant place to watch movies. The interior is also relatively clean and well organized and furnished. Also the staff is friendly and willing to assist you.

Fun and awesome dbox experience for an action film. Chair moved right along with the movie screen felt so Awesome!

This is my go to theater. They do reserve seating, which has its pros and cons but the big pro is that you can guarantee you sit with your friends, as long as youre ok time to the movie. The seats are recliner and leather - it makes for a super comfortable watching experience. No complaints about the facilities either, theyre always in good shape.

Clean theater and comfortable seats. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Movie volume was appropriate. The check in at the counter was a bit slow, but nothing that made the experience unpleasant. Overall it was a good experience.

Wonderful cinema hall. The seats have desks with them which is just awesome. Reclining seats, big arcade for the kids to play, couldnt find any flaws. They also show Indian movies which is a big plus. Also very clean restrooms. And omg, their Gelatos especially Dulce was super delicious.

Parking and seating is best if you go for the last showing of the day. Popcorn tasted a little too salty for my taste. Was surprised it wasnt as crowded as one would think for a holiday. We saw the new star wars movie on Christmas day/ evening. 11:30 pm showing.

Best place around Ann arbor and Ypsi for movies. They recently renovated and seats are awesome.

They have a seeming inability to fix their show times on Google when it shows films they dont actually show at times theyre not open. We talked to the manager, but she was both snappy with us, as well as completely aware of the problem, but equally uninterested in solving it.As Im typing this review, Im watching another couple come in for the exact same movie, come to the same locked doors, and get the same non-interested treatment. Theyre a large company-- they should be able to figure their stuff out.Edit: Now there is a third couple walking up. Same treatment.

Had a great time seeing The Game Awards and Jumanji here. The staff that ran the event were professional and really nice. We accidentally spilled a full large popcorn all over the floor and the manager of the event went and personally got us a new popcorn and the mess was cleaned up immediately. Really nice of them.Theater was clean and if they offer this event again Im definitely going here to watch it. Plus we got to play bingo and win prizes like a gaming headset, Blue Microphone, and everyone who attended got a free Google Stadia. It was awesome.

Went to see a movie with my family and thought the experience of going to this location was okay at best.First off, their concession area was very unorganized, people were standing everywhere in the way and I was not certain if I could pass by them or not without asking them first. More so, if you are going to make it so people can grab what they want and pay for in up the lane, dont make that same lane as narrow as it is.Secondly, we had gotten there a little early and had to wait for cleaning of the theater. There werent enough place for people to sit and wait. I was there with my grandparents and they were complaining that they had no where for them to rest for a bit and get off their feet.On this last point you may disagree with me here or you may not. I like that they upgraded their seats but I wouldve been much happier if they didnt have those trays that were pre-affixed to the chair. If they were removable it would be much easier for movie goers to get in and out of the chairs.But that is all I had to say about this location. 4 / 5 stars for now.

Great food, comfy seats, feels like a premium theater. I watched Jumanji 2 and had a great experience. One lady was kind enough to give us free drinks after we spilled ours.

Seats are so awesome! Staff was nice!!! Place was very clean, and there wasnt really any interruptions. Parking kinda sucked but getting to your car is easy because of their multiple exits

IMAX has great seating and amazing popcorn. We watched Frozen 2 which is a really good movie. Frozen 2 is a must watch and IMAX made the experience even better. The gelato we had was wonderful. The bathrooms are clean. With electronic tickets we just entered straight.

Good movie selection, Snack Pack is a good reasonably priced concession. Has all the latest movies, generally clean and well laid out and plenty of restrooms. Best feature for families - the Snack Pack has popcorn, a small drink, and mini M&Ms or fruit snacks for about $6.

Comfortable, affordable, always friendly, fast service. Theaters are clean and spacious... Would recommend the extra drive wherever your coming from. Great comfort food to choose from in and around the theater! Lets go see a movie @A2 20 tonight!

A solid theater with lots of options! Cinemarks Ann Arbor location features many screens and comfortable recliner seating. Parking is abundant. Many of the larger theaters in the bigger hallway can be accessed by taking an elevator to the 2nd floor (yellow hallway pictured below) and entering from the top so this can be very helpful if you have certain mobility issues. The facility is kept clean. The sound systems are good.As to the negatives, certain movies Ive seen here seemed very dim and I do suspect they keep the projector bulbs turned down a little to save on their use life, which is a typical theater cost-saving measure but very annoying and I have had it really impact films with a lot of night scenes. The food selection here is OK but not quite as good as under the previous owners; for instance the pizza is straight up bad compared to what we had when there was a built in Sbarros. The last time I was here about a week ago I noticed the gelato station appeared shut down, unfortunately. The popcorns great though and the hot dogs are tasty so those are solid choices.

Love the recliners. Purchasing tickets online and being able to choose your seats is great. It is so IRRITATING when the kiosk is out of order when you arrive and you have to wait in line to get your tickets!

This was the largest movie theater Ive been in, a total of 20 theaters! The popcorn was great along with the sodas. The seating was very spacious!

We like going to theaters for first showings of the day during the week because the theaters are generally pretty empty, and yesterday we went to see Jumanji - great movie by the way! Turns out we were the only two people in the theater so it was great; but based on our experience it will be our last visit.The first issue was the volume. Theaters really need to find a way to adjust the volume to size of the crowd. Sitting in an empty theater at rock concert volume levels is really uncomfortable and hard on our hearing. Turn it down.Second issue - the volume in the adjacent theater was so loud we had a constant booming drumbeat to listen to - I can only assume that theater was also nearly empty.Third issue - our movie was reaching the final 5-10 minutes of good dialogue and the adjacent theater had finally let out and the booming sound ended so we could really enjoy the end. But no, here comes a theater worker rolling a trash can up the aisle. Come on people, it was distracting and downright rude. Its not like there was another movie starting right away!

Super comfy seats, snacks quadruple the price you pay in a store, but it is a theater, so thats expected. Staff is always great. Go at least twice a month to this location. Easy parking, never too busy, tickets are cheap.

Love this theater! Its selection of movies is extensive, the popcorn is well, delicious, to say the least. I myself have not ventured into trying the cafe/ice cream or the pizza/pretzels but what great ideas to add to the traditional popcorn, pop, and candy mix. The biggest thing that makes me return to this theater time and again are the somewhat recent improvement of the lounge chairs that let you prop your feet up and dont leave you with a foot asleep from crossing your legs because you dont know where to put them or a crick in your neck even if youre close to the screen. Those chairs are the real stars in this theater.

The theater was nice in the management was nice. The movie Jumanji is filthy. Please do not take your kids there the language or horrible. They were using Gods name in vain. Around four times in the first 20 minutes. The theater management was really nice they refunded our money.

I thoroughly enjoy this set of theatres. It is Always clean, the staff is Friendly and the Prices are Very reasonable. The variety of mediums by which to view the different movie types is refreshing- from IMAX, RealD, D-box or regular luxury-seating...its a Top Shelf operation!

This theater is super nice, with comfy reclining seats. You pick your spot on the app or when you buy tickets so you don’t have to rush to sit where you’d like. The best part is they have matinee movies until 6, even on weekends.An added plus- this is the cleanest theater I’ve found in years. After going here we won’t go anywhere else.

Love this theater. Prices are high for concession, but ticket prices are fair. Comfortable seats, and quality shows.

Prices are pretty comparable to other local theaters and the matinee is significantly cheaper. Seats are super comfortable, and being able to reserve them online ahead of time saves the hassle of having to get to the theater early to stake out seats for busy shows.

The staff here are pleasant and welcoming. They always answer all of our questions, and quick to help and work with you. We are part of the Cinemark club and visit at least once a week. Havent had an issue yet!

Nice movie theater. I love the convenience of picking out your candy and drinks yourself. The reclining chairs make longer movies a lot more bearable!

I still prefer emagine Saline for quality and comfort, but the latest remodel really improved this theater. Theres a ton of concessions stands with a wide variety of food and beverage choices and aside from the fact that the recliners dont quite recline as far as youd probably like, its a very nice theater.

Not my favorite theatre to go to, but its close and plays good movies. The seats are comfortable.

Nice movie theater for the area. If you are a movie lover, their rewards program and MovieClub are awesome to join. You get perks and sometimes get to see movies in advance. Each year they offer a refillable bucket and cup for drinks and popcorn so you can get a discount throughout the year. They also show some lesser known films compared to similar big theatres which I appreciate.

Saw star wars in the IMAX. Great theater. Liked the way that the concession stand payment line was separate from the serving line. Very efficient. The IMAX didnt have the lay down seats. Comfortable, but not so roomy rocking seats are used. Better than old style seating. Feels like theyre packing us in a bit. Theyre was enough room that people could get but without us having to stand up but I had to share an arm rest with my neighbor.

This theater is really clean and well maintained. On the way to our theater, there was a guy on a ladder cleaning/dusting the recessed lights in the ceiling! The seats are comfortable and all the staff were friendly, making it a very nice experience overall.

The seats were so comfortable and relaxing. Plus I seen a good movie--Just Mercy.

They need to figure out a better way of discounting their refreshments cause places like Emagine and MJR are making them a last choice to my household

Theater was nice and clean however our concession stand experience was awful. The popcorn was over cooked. We stood in line for atleast 10 minutes only for the worker to take someone else before us. Then when we told her weve been waiting she continued to take the orof the person after us... while acknowledging that we were in fact first. Unacceptable.

I love this place. Its so big and fun to go to. Great prices for students and I love their popcorn. Seats are big and you have so much room for your feet. When I went to another theater after this, I felt cramped.

Very good theatre.. experience was good. Comforting seats . Exclusive offers for students. For students with IDs make it a lesson expensive. We went all the way for Toledo to watch movie.. for us it was very good, because with our student IDs ticket cost was cheap and theatre experience was very good and made the whole experience good. They also have IMAX screen. So, my final verdict is its a proper movie complex in almost 50 miles radius.

Love this theater, especially with the new seats. Puts me to sleep, lol. End up paying for a nap.On a serious note, I refuse to give 5 stars as long as the kids 1 mile down the road can’t afford to go to the theatre here. The owners should do better on supporting the communities that they are located.

I really like this theater. They have cheap tickets on Wednesday, $5 each, so I tend to go then. They have the recliner chairs in every theater (I think) that make it more pleasant to sit through a long theater. Ive never really had a problem with being cold, unlike most other theaters, except for once but that was on the dead of winter so I kind of expect it. The regular priced tickets are pricey as well as the snacks but pretty much consistent with any other theater so Im not mad.

A pleasant experience is assured in this theater. Well maintained and you get starbucks coffee too

Why do you advertise the movie to start at 7pm. I was here on time. Watched 47 mins of commercials and a short cartoon. BIG WASTE OF MY TIME. Never coming back again. Ill wait for Hulu, Netflix or online to have the movie. I paid $16 for the movie and I was frustrated by the time or FINALLY came on. 1 hr later. NOR ACCEPTABLE!!!

Good service,very busy during the time my daughter and I went which was 420.

They dont have Dr. Pepper and they dont allow it if I get it from an outside store.I paid $5 to get my $2 pop inside. I used to go twice in a week. This experience really made me feel not to go there at all.

Great staff. I liked the theatre area. The reclining seats were nice. Only issue would be the bathrooms--they were pretty messy and could use a wick scented canister.

I have been to this theatre twice and it is clear that neither staff or security have control over the theatres or care to. I saw Countdown tonight and it was by far the worst cinema experience Ive ever had. My experience can only be described as out of control clownery. Between people literally yelling across the theatre, playing musical chairs between the rows, having their phones out the entire time, and standing in the middle of rows while talking to their friends, their was not a moment of peace during the movie. I paid $20 to see a movie and I have no idea what happened in it. Even when security was brought in, they gave hollow warnings to the same people several times and no one was asked to leave. Those people continued to be a problem throughout the whole movie. Watching a movie in a tornado would be much more peaceful experience than going to this cinema.The only reason that it got two stars, instead of one, is because my experience watching IT Chapter 2 was tolerable. An entire packed theatre for that movie was less disruptive than a less than half full theatre watching Countdown.

Always clean and well managed. Many great choices of movies including 3D and IMAX. Super comfortable reclining loungers and every delicious snack youd ever want. They offer a movie club that gives rewards and discounts. Always a wonderful experience.

Im officially done going to see movies in Jackson, which is where i live.This movie theater is the absolute best, and 2 tickets for 11 bucks on a Sunday..... Cant be beat!

This theater is nice, comfortable and big. The location is pretty easy to find and its not too far from both Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. I have been coming to this theater for at least 25 years and have always had a good time!

The employees here are extremely friendly and helpful. One time I had this kid maybe five or six years old, walk up to the table I was sitting at and he reached into my tub of popcorn and took a handful. Mind you his parents were on the other side of the theatre. I couldnt bring myself to eat my popcorn so I took it to the counter and told them what happened and they gave me a new tub of popcorn. Security had a little talk with the parents after that.

Reclining seats were comfortable. Ticket purchase and concession seemed under staffed however service was friendly. There is a ticket kiosk (its kind of hidden) to the left of the ticket counter. Video games and other activities if you are early for your show.

It is a blast. The Movie Club Membership is excellent, and it makes me love this place even more. Very clean, great and friendly employees. Awesome seats in all of the rooms except IMAX. But still great. 9.8 out of 10.

This will forever be my favorite theatre. I’m a movie club member which makes buying tickets and picking my seats super quick and easy. I also love that this location shows movies in other languages. So inclusive and tons of options.

Outstanding theater! My favourite place to watch movies. Other than at home of course. The staff is well trained and customer oriented. The facility is awesome and the seats are perfect.

Was really angry about concessions--got a combo with popcorn and slushy. I went to get a refill my slushy refilled and was told they arent allowed. When I asked where this was posted, I was told it only says refills on pop and popcorn. I then asked if I could pay for a refill and was told I could buy a whole new slushy. For how much youre paying for a movie / concessions, no refills on a slushy is absurd. They probably dont care, but I will not be going back.

Careful of the police traps in their lot. This cinema allows jurisdiction to police (I know because we went to court over it). My wife was stopped for slow rolling a stop sign in their lot. No one was around. No cars. No pedestrians. Parking lot visible & completely empty (except for one hidden police car.)Nice job jerks.

We never have any issues. The seating is comfortable and assigned, so no problems with people stealing your seats or being in a bad seat unless the show is sold out lol.The concession food and drink are ridiculously priced, so eat prior to coming.

Big, comfortable reclining seats, huge aisles tons of space. polite, helpful staff. Sound system is super. Only complaint is that I thought the refreshments are overpriced, even for a movie theater

The chairs are nice and comfortable. Can provide for an enjoyable experience. This review is from going during the daytime. There were employees, so when I found the restroom with literal human waste on surfaces, it ruined the experience. I hope management sees this so your workers are doing cleaning in slow times. That was disgusting.

Always a great time when we go to the movies here. After they redid the seats a while back, the experience has been wonderful. The ability to reserve your (reclining) seats beforehand is super convenient and makes for a better time getting there. Purchasing tickets online or on your phone is nice too. $5 movies on Wednesday is awesome! The snacks are pretty fairly priced for going to the movies and Ive never had a bad experience with it there. Overall, when I think of going to the movies, I think of coming here!

Always great service and snacks! Except Wednesdays, its discount day and it brings out the crazy customers so the workers can be a bit stressed but they still do their best! I love this theater, the popcorn is more fresh than the emagine theaters popcorn too
