Collab Coffee is hands down the best coffee shop in Yakima. As a student at the local medical school I find it to be a welcoming and safe environment for members of my community. I am so grateful for this coffee shop, the staff and owners are wonderful. Plus it’s a great spot to get some work done! I love working with them to host fun and educational after hour events. 10/10.

The owner was the only guy working. He was knowledgeable and also had a hand in roasting the coffee. They serve Basalt Coffee, a local brand, and some high quality tea sourced from Birmingham, Alabama. The roast is on the lighter side, and the menu is limited. Not a great place for kids, but a great place for anyone serious about coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. No parking lot, just parallel on the street.

Collaboration Coffee became my home away from home while I was living in Yakima. From day one, Maddie and Adam took time to become my friends. They make INCREDIBLE coffee, and the art they choose to display is beautiful and thought-provoking. It is a daily sadness not to live nearby and be able to talk with them on a daily basis. Spend some time at Collab, you wont regret it.

Collaboration Coffee is one of the best things about Yakima! Not only do they have great coffee, they have created a space that is welcoming to the entire Yakima community. I love their commitment to community involvement!

I love everything about this place from the knowledgeable and kind workers to the natural light to the locals who are always willing to exchange greetings and share in conversation. I love that they use this space as a place for community gatherings and meetings. Every body is welcome here and that is why I stop in every week for my coffee beans!

The wait at the counter seemed kind of long, but once I ordered my Cortado it was a short wait before I had a drink that was just as good as any I have tried. They have some mugs that you can purchase that are made in the makerspace that surrounds the coffee shop. The tables, chairs and signs all appear to have been made in the makerspace as well. It was actually a pretty cool vibe, and the coffee was delicious and very reasonably priced. I find it funny because while visiting family in Portland just last weekend I was lamenting that Yakima doesnt have a coffee place that offers a good cortado, and here is one that was even better than what I had in Portland!

This place is just awesome! The owner is one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met and their products are highest quality. Great coffee shop conveniently located close to downtown.Recently opened, locally owned and operated.It is next door to Maker Space and you can see many little touches, things that were made there out of wood and 3d printed.They also have regularly changed out at exhibits.

Awesome coffee, chai, and pastries! Beautiful on the inside as well! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu. Copper pot caramel for flavoring....yes, please!

We stopped by on our way through town and were very glad we did. The space is warm and inviting, the coffee was excellent, and the service was superb. We will definitely stop by our next time we’re in the area.

The coffee and tea are delicious... But thats not the coolest thing about this place. I would propose this is the most Yakima coffee shop in Yakima. Not only is the coffee locally roasted, but everything else in this shop is local as well. The furniture was designed, built and finished in house. Their BEAUTIFUL bar was also designed and built in house. The mugs and cups were handmade by a local potter. Even the caramel and chocolate sauce is made locally. Local artisans work is on display. Just cool!
