Wylie Rec Center is beautiful! Lots to do and friendly employees! I love the fact that the library is right next door.

We want to share this hidden spot in Wylie...the Wylie Rec Center!! The workout facility in the Rec Center is awesome!! They have free weights, machines, and all kinds of options for cardio-including an indoor track. They also have a rock climbing wall that is available to kids and adults!! My kids LOVE coming to the childcare area-that is FREE with your annual membership!! The yearly cost for an individual membership is $175 for Wylie residents and $225 for an individual outside of Wylie. The staff is awesome, sweet to my kids, and they keep the whole place very clean!! It’s located just off 544 and Country Club...check it out!!!

Been some years since I have actually tried to work out, but this facility is really nice. Definitely inspired me and Im certainly going back. Thank you Wylie!

Great area to work out, very wide variety of machines, and a running loop perfectly set to be a mile every 10 laps. Very well air conditioned, and they have a modern feel. There is a basketball court, a rock wall, and other things. They also have quite a few events. It is well kept and clean.

The rock climbing wall is fun for the younger kids but I wish there were more things for them to do besides basketball. I enjoy working out. Not too crowded, machine rotation is fast. Hopefully theyll continue to add new things!

Pretty good faculties just wish it a little bigger area to workout upstairs. Good activities for kids like rock climbing and arts & crafts. Very reasonable priced too

Nice quiet place to workout. Well kept, affordable.

Horrible customer service. We rented a room until 6 for a party and a lady kept coming back and yelling at kids even though we had an all day pass. Our party ended at 6 and most fo the guests left before that. We were about to leave like 5 minutes after 6 and they said the room was unclen and found like 2 pieces of breadcrumbs.

Great local community gym. Might not have everything but enough for a good workout and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Wish we had more freedom of sports to choose from, seems basketball is the prime choice but I pay just as much as others and we play volleyball. They seemIrritated EVERY single time we ask about the volleyball net.Also, I have two kids one too old for daycare the other has to stay in daycare. They hate that.

Very bad place i hate it sooo much my brother was ten and went up stairs to run but they wouldnt let him because he had to be 12 so tow year apart and they wouldnt let like what!!!!!! all he wanted to so is to run on the treadmel

The staff is friendly and my kids enjoy coming here. We just signed up for an annual family membership and it’s super affordable.

Cheaper than what we were paying for a family membership at LA Fitness, and my 2-year-old LOVES the staff in the kids room. Very modern setup with good equipment and a rock-climbing wall. Also, its convenient having the library right across in the next building.

Good place for me to drop my kid off at for a few hours and know that hes safe and doing something active. The staff is always polite as well.

Clean facility thats not usually too busy. A decent amount of equipment and up to date machines. Friendly and helpful staff. The daycare is clean and staffed well. My child loves it! I love that its a family oriented place, and conveniently located across from library.

I would give this place 5 stars but there is a middle age causasian woman at the front desk that makes signing in and getting a membership super difficult for no reason. Even my 9 year old son noticed and avoids her like the plague. This is a friendly fun family environment with lots of things to do. I hope she tones it down some. If not we might have to pay out of resident membership fees to join a different rec center with better vibes.

I have now moved to Frisco, but I really miss being part of this recreation center. This is a great place for teens and kids to come to for different activities, and I really liked coming here for the gym. Its a decent monthly price for most of the equipment I need! The staff was always helpful and kind.

Most of the excellent reviews are spot on. Great services and staff. They are always working or cleaning something. They care for you and your family. Price is unbeatable which is the difference maker for our family. Childcare is the best, they remember my kids names and take care of them like they were their own. We never feel uncomfortable when dropping kids off at childcare.

A great place for many reasons, the entrance is next to a library, Wylie city hall and it makes good use of my money. As a Wylie resident, I get a dirt cheap rec pass. The rec pass allows me access to the gym upstairs that has a variety of machines and a 100m track, and downstairs which gives me access to a rock climbing wall for children, three table tennis tables and two basket ball courts.

Seriously great rec center. Kids club for kids to play while adults do their exercise looks amazing!

Everyone is friendly except one girl who Ive talked to some people and they have all said she is rude and I have experienced it myself. She ruins my workout and kills your mood. The top floor manager is also sarcastically rude.

Love, love LOVE my recreation center. Its got everything you need to stay fit and theres plenty of room. It can get a little hectic and noisy during peak times but thats to be expected. A rock wall, basketball court, tennis tables, Foosball and of course weights and lots of cardio equipment is available. Showers are large and always clean. The staff is great!

Basketball, volleyball (Tuesday evenings), an indoor track, workout equipment, yoga, zumba, personal trainers available. And a friendly staff! Everything you could want in a community rec center. Except maybe a natatorium, but that would require higher taxes, so Ill remain content with it as it is.

One of my favorite rec centers. Has everything and super clean. Staff is wonderful.

We went for about a week before the top floor hall monitor asked me to cover myself while lifting weights because I was wearing an Adidas workout tank. Apparently it’s “family friendly” and my shirt or “lack there of” is “offensive” yet only my arms were showing. Well, I guess it wasn’t offensive to my 11,10, and 8 year olds who were happily playing basketball downstairs. Will be finding an actual gym this time around. You definitely get what you pay for here. Horrible customer service and we will NOT be back!!!

Beware there is a Indian man rousie that will shred your card if he feels that hes not treated the way he wants to be treated....hell also make false accusations to insure that he wont get terminated from his job at the recreation center. But after that all the other employees are chill and its a pretty lit place

Not a pleasant experience at all. The communication is horrible, management lies, and they dont follow the Vendors rules that could put them in jeopardy or lose their license by the State and then they will try and blame their faults and wrong doings o the Vendor. Theyre extremely judgemental and biased. I would not recommend this recreation center to anyone.

Wylie do not have any water park yet eventhough there is a lot of space.

For the price it cant be beat! Excellent selection of dumbbells and the indoor air conditioned track is awesome!
