This is a true community theatre: there are auditions, a cast list is posted, rehearsals ensue, performances shine. You will find many, many dedicated volunteers making this organization run smoothly. They get by on a shoestring budget, and produce magical performances which any kid (or adult) would be proud to be part of.What makes this different from other area community theatres: there are no pay to play policies (where you know, going in, that each child needs to pay hundreds of dollars to participate in each show, no matter the size of the role). Participants are not required to sell tickets (or buy a certain # of tix if they are unable to sell them). Participants are asked to donate concessions, and for parents to volunteer with some aspect of the production, but nothing like the demands made at other childrens theatres (financial commitments and time).The other thing which makes this theatre unique: NO PAID EMPLOYEES. Whats crazy: NO CITY FUNDING. Other metroplex childrens theatres get generous amounts of city funding to run their theatres, and keep permanent, paid employees. This theatre is a gesture of love, an enormous gift to the Wylie community from the selfless volunteers who make each show happen, and from the parents and kids who pour themselves into the operations of the organization.This is truly a special place. If you are looking for a place to volunteer, be involved in your community, make friends, or see a show: this is a warm environment filled with caring people who truly make magic.

Pure Laughter! Such amazing acting. One of my good friends is in WAG and he always tells us how much he enjoys doing these shows. Now I see why!

First impressions: Cool little theater. Mostly for kids. Our visit was for the Greatest Showman sing along. Daughter had lots of fun. Popcorn was movie theater quality. This group needs all the support it can get!

A great place for kids to get bit by the acting bug! The adult volunteers work tirelessly to make sure that each and every kid gets the best experience and that the shows are top notch. Come check out the hard work these kids (and sometimes adults) put in!

Absolutely the best theatre you could hope to participate in. This all volunteer troupe takes already talented kids and adults and teaches them performance and life skills. If you just want to come watch a show, you will not be disappointed by the production quality. This is not your average community theatre.

Were building a Schlotzskys Im helping doing Plumbing so we do what we can for about a week and then let everybody going sheetrockers painters Etc then you go back but its nice.
