Easy short hike up a hill. The path is a bit rocky. A nice view over the natural bog.

Good place to bring the kids to get out of the house for an hour or two. Trails are short. You can go up hill to the top of the Rock or on an easier trail with no incline with younger kids. No wifi for the kids is a plus every now and then. Have fun !

Great, short hike. Clean, easy-to-walk paths (handful of steeper sections) with beautiful scenery, and a nice view at the top. There are a couple paths to the top of the rock, and one around part of the lake, with a flat picnic-type clearing under the pines and next to the lake. One of the paths to the top branches off to overlook an apple orchard. The whole place took us about 45 minutes to hike, with a baby. Would be great for kids. The parking lot accommodates maybe a dozen cars.

Very peaceful and easy trails. I go every Friday (weather permitting) for my Friday exhale. Highly recommend for a quick release.

A hidden gem for viewing the sunset. Its quite popular with teenagers, but us middle-aged people felt totally comfortable there (and only came upon one nip bottle!) Wear your sneakers; its a steep hike up, but close to the road (only about a 5-10 minute hike on a clear path.) If youre looking for a local spot for great sunset viewing, this is it. End the night with a giant waffle cone from the Ice Cream Machine!!

Joe s rock it’s Easy and short hiking trail about 10 to 15 minutes Hahahha I did it after diamond hill park but the view and the scenery worth to stop and make this short trail . parking lot fit like ten cars maximum I think it’s a good trail for old people and kids enjoy ️️️

I like Joes rock. A couple of things, to climb all the way to the top of the rock is pretty hard. They have picnic tables and a few benches down below. It is a beautiful spot.

It was good but very quick. Not too much to do but climb the main rock.

A great place to take a hike with family, friends, or the family dog. As you enter the trail, you can turn left to get a great view across the pond. If you turn right and start up the hill, youll see a small picnic area where you can sit and eat your lunch or take a water break. At the top of the hill youll find a huge, mostly buried boulder that you can stand on. The view overlooks a beautiful apple orchard. The wide open space and sweeping vista is very serene and relaxing.

Great view from the top of Joes Rock! Its worth the 10 minute hike! Dont stray off of the trail or brush against the tree limbs the ticks are pretty heavy around there. Stay on the trail and you will have no problem.

Joes Rock Conservation area is a short hike up a hill to a cliff about 60 feet above a swampy area in Wrentham, MA. Not a difficult hike, you may see Lady Slippers along the trail to the top. Dont be surprised if you find broken beer bottles as this is a local hangout. Police do mind the area and I have hiked this alone. Avoid hiking with snow cover and rain. Lock your car and stow valuables out of sight!Drive up to the BIG APPLE for donuts and produce and a tour of an apple sorter and the Mount St Marys ABBEY for their homemade candy after your hike.

Trail is fairly short. Nice view at the top of the hill, but surrounded by private property. Good for a very short hike, but not enough space for trail running.

Still as beautiful as I remember it being 10 years ago. My family and I just came to visit Joes rock from Wisconsin and my kids loved climbing all the way to the top. Great views. Will keep coming back.

I have been going here for years, I absolutely love it. Great short hike up to the top of Joes Rock where youre rewarded with an excellent view and amazing sunsets. Great place to take your friends or loved one, but I strongly suggest against small kids. There is a steep cliff that one could fall down. I recommended every nature lover to check this place out at least once, youll fall in love.

Great places to hang up a Hammock and just enjoy nature. Also great for practicing survival skills. Lots of wood and different resources.

Nice hike

Nice place to hike with beautiful views. Unfortunately we saw how some folks leave lots of garbage behind and its a sad thing to witness. Bring a garbage bag and take a bit during your next visit. Every little bit helps. We had one and it took no time to fill up. Namaste.

We went to Birchwold that is across the street. Lovely walk in the paths around the meadow. Picked some of the last flowers of season. Heard a few birds. Sunny moment sitting in one of the new benches. Lovely spot for a fall walk.

It was fine. The dogs loved it. Short trails, not marked. No trash cans - carry in carry out. Goes around water so can get buggy and lots of poisin ivy right off the paths.

This is a trail in Wrentham that, for a short distance, was a small challenge for me. I am not what you would call fit, so there were a couple of brief stops to catch my breath. I shoukd say, that I do enjoy this type of hike, I feel like I accomplished something. It is not what I would say a well marked trail, but you can certainly see where the trail is. In most parts, it was rocky and lots of roots. There are some steps, but I found a few of them to be steep. The summit is a rocky landing that looks over water. I think with fall colors just around the corner, the view will be very nice. All in all, I liked the hike because I enjoy walking in the cooler weather and enjoyed the challenge that it was for me.

Good for a short walk. Nice views. There is a small short ascent up a rocky Hill but all skill levels should be able to walk it, including children.

Great 0.7 mile loop hike with some pretty views of Joes Rock Pond. There is a picnic area with a table, so bring a lunch and relax. There are also a few Geocaching sites too.
