We are a swim family and moved from Clintonville in 2015 after the closing of Olympic. We wanted a community with a strong center point and Worthington pool is that community connector for us. They do a fantastic job of maintaining the facility as well as creating a safe and fun space for the neighborhood, as large as it is. The membership fees are reasonable and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I have been dropping my daughter off since she was 10 and had no worries that she would be safe. Thank you for all you do for our community in creating great summer memories and keeping our kids safe and swimming!-Heather Llewellyn-Antonetz
Would love to experience this pool, except that it’s $15 for entrance! That’s absurd! To top it off, I was informed that having a membership to the community center does not grant you access...despite what they told us because they are a “private pool”. Well, you might want to double check your own pool information because it clearly states you are a public community pool.
Pay 375 $ season pass. And never used .I Ask the manager to return the money after one week. They told me we don’t do refund. You get the picture what a nice place is..
My family has been members for years and continue to meet our friends there to relax and watch the kids play. There is an adults only pool if you are in the mood to exercise, which I really enjoy. The kids love the huge water slide and diving boards. There is also plenty of space for the older kids to hang out with their friends in the grass or hang hammocks in the trees during rest periods.Great staff, always friendly and inviting!! I highly recommend.
My family (with 2 younger kids) became members of the pool last year and its been a great experience! We go pretty much every Sunday morning in the Summer and numerous times during the week. Pool staff is always friendly and attentive.Theyve got 2 diving boards, shallow areas for the younger kids, BIG fun slide, splash pad, grassy areas, pavilion, and snack bar.We love to go with all our neighbors; the kids have so much fun. Great place. Its run by a Worthington non-profit vs the city like other pools and there are many cool updates coming soon.Highly recommend!
In the past, when I worked at Ohio School for the Deaf, my students, coworkers and I went there to swim once every weeks in the summer. We had fun! It was so nice to have a one swim pool for the adult only to rest and exercise. Foods is so good!!!
Ive been a member at this pool for several years. I only use the indoor pool because of disabilities.Good things:The staff is friendly and professional, the pools (two: one is marked off for swimming laps, the other for playing or relaxing) andvlocker room are scrupulously clean. Disability assistance for getting in and out if the pool is excellent. There is a roll in shower for people with disabilities. It has accessible water controls, a shower wand, and a shower chair.Downsides:The water in both pools is uncimfortably cold, and so is the locker room. I was told that its to reduce mold and mildew. Understandable, but its the main reason Im not renewing my membership. Membership is expensive, particularly for single non-residents. There are a lot of classes, so it can be difficult to find a time when the lap pool is available.
My family of six have been members for five years. It is a great gathering place for friends in the neighborhood and also a wonderful place to meet new Worthington friends. Highly recommend.
Great pool. Clean facilities. Water slide AND they still have a diving board.
Great pool for kids of all ages and good family fun! Clean and safe!
Pool is poorly maintained, if you arent a member fee is expensive, membership costs an arm and a leg, concession stand is a mess, lifeguards are alright, on certain days teenagers take over the pool and play loud music. The pool itself is not a place for adults and older people to enjoy, all pools have children in them but this pool has massive quantities of them making it hard for adults and older people to relax. Only thing good about it in my opinion are the lifeguards.
We love coming to the pool to see our friends from the community and enjoying time together! My kids love it!
I can’t believe how expensive this place is. For a family of 7 as a resident it’s $438. We’ve been here for a few birthdays and it is not well kept or much to do. I suggest Gahanna $330 for a non-resident or Westerville $350 for a non-resident and much nicer pools. What do they do with all that money? It’s a shame that I have to go outside of where my kids go to school to get a better deal and nicer pool.
Worthington Pools is now open, Fall 2020, for lap swimming and private lessons from 9-12 weekdays. Sign up, on the website under programs, is easy and there are plenty of time slots available, The staff maintains practices and procedures that make me feel very safe during these Covid times. And, though I have not felt comfortable returning to my gym, I feel very comfortable at a Worthington Pools.
A good spot to relax and enjoy yourself. Slightly pricy food, for what it is.
I grew up going to this pool. Its always been a place full of friendly employees. I love the improvements done to the indoor pool.
