Water park is good. They dont allow life jackets or any sort of floatation device, which is odd. I can see if they didnt for the slide or diving area, but not in the shallower area. No goggles too. All in all though, it is a nice park. The kids always like it.

Not very crowded, you get bumped into occasionally, and theres frequent adult swim breaks. But, there isnt really any privacy when it comes to the changing rooms. Its very easy for someone to just fling the changing room curtain open. Not cool. I also caught some kids messing around with my stuff..

My kids had a blast! Absolutely fun and fairly priced family day. You can pack your own lunch and drinks. I like that theres a 10 min break every hour to remind the kids to take a break and get a snack and hydrate on those hot days. There was plenty to do for a 2 and 5 yr old at the same time. My only complaint is it could use a few more umbrellas for shady areas to sit, they get taken super fast when its busy. Overall we loved it tho.

This is a wonderful facility for all ages. You can bring in food and drinks and there is a picnic area. This has a wonderful feel of hanging out with your friends and family around the pool. The kids area and slides are fun for all ages. There is an adult swim time as well. They even have diving boards which you see less and less at public pools. I love spending time here with the family.

We were really excited to take our 2.5 year old here. She loves to swim in her puddle jumper. But the rules only allow life vests in the kiddie pool where one doesn’t even need a life vest. She wasn’t able to enjoy swimming freely because of this rule that doesn’t make much sense. If some parents don’t pay attention to their own children because they have life vests on than that is the risk they are taking. Shouldn’t punish all others and ruin the fun for their children. We had to leave because all she wanted to do was swim freely but couldn’t.

Nice facility with 2 separate pools, one zero depth and the other for diving boards and swimming. Lots of deck space, a large grassy area, a baby pool, and a large sand area. Could have better sound system and a 15 minute break every hour seems excessive.

Woodstock Water Works is a fabulous facility for children and adults alike. There are a lot of things for children of all ages to do. Very small children have the opportunity to play in the sand play lot or the wading pool, while older children can move from the sand play lot to the zero-depth recreation pool. The recreation pool contains fun water features such as two tall water slides, buckets that pour water on the swimmers from high above, smaller slides, etc. W.W.W. also has a lap-pool with a high diving board, and a low diving board. The pool areas have been impeccably clean all the times that Ive been there, and the staff has all been very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to check out the beautiful, bronze statue of the ballerinas on your way in!

Room for flying kites / model planes. Sledding in the winter. During summer movies in the park. Geocaching. So much to offer.

What a Day for a Daydream is the song that comes to mind as July 26th of 2014 offered a pool party that was certainly a blast. Duck Races, Fountains of fun, and sights to behold that I had to retie my suit just to keep IT from Teeing off. What makes the Woodstock Water Works so very special is that it is logistically located in a prime position on the map for everyone to discover treasure hidden in the sand. Here at Erickson Park home of water slides, a playground like shipwreck and an assortment of other recreational activities teachers can instruct the students on how to swim and enjoy the water. I myself noticed an abundance of vowels floating about formed from foam safety tubes that often spelled out Eau. What is even more remarkable is that Woodstock represents one of the elements of a 1964 Dragon such as I and Sandra Annette Bullock whos 50th birthday I chose to celebrate in the drink. Which drink a passerby asked as the letter Y took shape by the currents of what must have been female Naiad water nymph spirits. All in all Dad and I had a wonderful time. I even took a selfie video explaining the significance how the route leading to the park appeared as a big dipper and took the liberty to explain that the loin star of this pattern is called Merak. Naturally at my age, 50 as of April, I could only mnemonically remember this with my initials RAK or Richard Allan Kretzschmar II. Who knew that when those sticks were scratched that I just a poor ole fool could be a star to. Well to make a never ending tale come to an end I got down on my knees and prayed to the sights I remembered as I earlier ascended the water slide stair case and O Lord Drool answered back in ways that forever will be impregnated in my mondo mind. I think Ill go ahead and build an Ark and sell autographs in the heavens above so everyone can learn a thing or two without spending a dime on a college education.
