This entire theatre was filthy the evening we chose to attend. As we went into our own room. There was even popcorn on the seats as well as the floor with other garbage....I was flabbergasted. Bathroom was nasty... I can only shake my head.... This was a very Blah feeling atmosphere to me walking in after MJR. I do not ever see us going back to the Woodhaven AMC for sure. Unless they go to dollar shows.

No visual blocks from those seated in front of you. Seats easily adjustable for legs and upper body. Sound is clear. Quiet. Able to buy tickets on line and select seats. Great experience.

Over priced! Freezing cold! I will say the young man that was behind the counter was very respectful and understanding and helpful to my son who was buying his own goodies for the movie. I mean no popcorn combos for 2 people. A nacho chips and cheese and 2 med. Pops was 23.00 bucks what in the world! We could have just had a good dinner for that. And no refills on popcorn. AMC youre winning over the customers!! I can see why the theater was completely empty.

Great movie theater but a little small compared to cinemark and mjr that are not to far from here. They have very little souvenirs for opening weekends or fan nights.

I’m giving a 3 for cleanliness and staff being very kind. If not for those I would’ve put 1. I was freezing during the entire movie and had to keep my coat on. My nose was actually cold! No doubt it was so clean because the workers were constantly moving to keep warm. I don’t think they had the heat on at all. The concession is also pretty expensive compared to other theaters that are sub-par.

Very clean and well maintained theatre. The electric recliner seats with armrests that go up to make it a loveseat are very comfortable. The wide corridors make it easy to leave your seat without bothering anyone else in the row to get up. Not crowded on a Tuesday night even though it was discounted. Tickets were only $5. each. One thing though, in my opinion they would sell more concessions in this neighborhood if they had more affordable options. They could make the bar a draw on its own.

I would give this 0 if I could I went and saw 1917 and the people next to me would not shut up I got so frustrated. They talk for 20 minutes in movie I got up and left horrible movie experience. And I spent my hard earn money to get out house and enjoy A good movie and people have to ruin the experience.

Seats could have been cleaner. Theater was pretty dirty. Popcorn on many of the seats and other trash from the moviegoers previously there. But the sound and movie quality was good. The seats comfy. Just wish it was cleaner.

Good comfortable facility. Popcorn at times is not good. Last time i was there i got a large popcorn and then i stood at the counter and watched the employee scrap together the last of the popcorn some of which was just small broken pieces of popcorn.

I was disappointed with this theater. $10.50 for a ticket and theater 7 smelled very badly. The place was dirty and understaffed. The one person at the concession counter was very nice and friendly. She was the best part of the place. Will not be back to this one

Are you kidding me. I bought tickets on line and they did not honor the $5.00 advertising of a popcorn and small drink. It was their on line price. They told us it was $11.35 for the same amount of popcorn. They said their computer could not down load it. So we got screwed all the guy could say was ....SORRY! Bad service, Bad on line product, food wait was 7 minutes. GOOD BYE!

Get there a good 20 minutes early on top of your early time if you want snacks and drinks as they dont have enough people working.

Advertised heated seats. Went for the heated seats and they didnt have them! False advertisement! Seats were comfy and good view/sound system. But I was disappointed in the seat amenities! If theyre advertised, I would like the full experience!

We took the grandkids here to see the Sonic movie. Dont really care for the whole assigned seats but other than that the movie was great the popcorn was excellent and loved my freezy pop.

It was expensive for an afternoon movie $6.99, Med drink almost $6, & candy almost $5. No wonder people bring a big purse reclining seat was extremely comfortable and the theater was empty...I didnt get anything to drink or eat. My friend did.

I went and seen avengers endgame! The movie was just as good as the experience! It was amazing! I would defiantly recommend this place. The service was nice someone greeted me at the door helped me with my ticket. Then at the concession stand they where very polite and respectful!

Its set up super nice, really nice lobby to wait in, very clean environment and bathrooms, comfortable seating, only drawback is the prices, even with rewards membership its still super expensive and you have to pay to be a rewards member but at mjr its free to sign up for rewards and everything is alot cheaper at mjr, only came here cuz I dont drive and my friend dont drive so this one is more convenient for us cause our families have stuff going on so today southgate was just out of the way.

Enjoyed the movie, popcorn and a pop this evening at AMC Woodhaven. If they had the popcorn toppings I could give them 5 stars but it was still very good.

Havent been to the movies in years. Easy entrance, restrooms are close to movie entrances. Seats are great. Popcorn even better. One drawback the sound was too too loud to the point it was uncomfortable. I think I could hear through earplugs. I will try them next time.

Recent visit for matinee show. Very clean with recliner chairs. First time in many years going to theater and was surprised with changes to overall experience. Easy access off Allen Rd near West Rd in Woodhaven, good lighted parking. Concession and ticket area well staffed, lots of room to relax and enjoy the movie

The seats yall. THE SEATS!!!!! Never have I watched a movie in this kind of comfort outside of my house ... we had an issue with a gift card and the manager was quick to help us solve it so we didnt miss our movie. Theater and bathrooms were clean, food fresh and options for drinks was awesome. Will return to this theater many times over the next couple years.

Best place to go for a movie. They have good popcorn and really comfortable chairs. (It chapter 2 looked great In IMAX.)

Never again, first time here since it was changed to amc! I never write reviews and felt compelled to. From the moment walking in it was dirty. The theater is even worse. If it wasn’t for this being the only place to see this movie I would have left.

5 stars for the movie (1917) but 2 stars for the theatre. The place looked like a dump: popcorn and papers here and there on the carpet and the trash was overflowing in auditorium #10. Thought the trash mightve been taken out while we were watching, but it was even more filled by the time we left. This was the 7PM Sunday show so it wasnt like the end of a long day either.

Great place to go and experience a movie. Tickets are reasonable.

Was very disappointed in my expierince at the theater today. Took my children to see Sonic upgraded to see it in Prime. The seats vibrated like 4 times throughout the movie so not worth the extra $15.00 I spent on the prime. The Theater was not clean, had to brush popcorn off our seats just to sit down for the 415 pm show. It was freezing, the womens bathrooms were disgusting checked 3 stalls before I found one I could actually use. Its very rare I get to take my kids to the movies due to the size or our family its expensive. Today I spent $100.00 between tickets and conscessions however next time I will drive a little further for hopefully a better/cleaner expierience in Southgate.

The movie was fine but the theater seemed like it needed more employees to help. There was pop all over the floor and no one to actually check tickets. We could have stood in the self help line and then just walked away into a theater. Walked by a teen who we overheard saying that it was super easy to steal from this theater. It was like no one cared anymore.

Amenities were good but the area for ticket purchase n the bar are too close. Did not care for that aspect with kids/minors.

Daytime prices ok. Yet hardly any fresh popcorn available and menus not up to see what was a special. Got a kids pack because attendant barely seem interested.

Terrible service. Every time we come in there is no staff at the ticket areas so anyone can just walk into any movie at any time. The staff ratio is ridiculous. When there is a line of people at concessions all the way to the door, I would appreciate more than just one single staff member

This is a high price, low quality theater. I find better seating at other theaters. I find better pricing at other theaters. I find better concessions at other theaters. The ticket price was $5.29 which just seemed odd to me. The seats were completely uncomfortable as they do not recline all the way. The popcorn, although freshly-made, tasted stale and burned. We only came here because we had a free pass for one of us. I dont think well be going back.

Let me start by saying I completely understand corporate policy and procedures can be limiting at times when trying to conduct good customer service.Secondly, I was frustrated when picking up my tickets (A-list reservations) for 1917s 10pm showing via the kiosk at this location.We arrived near 10:17. The doors were locked. The weather was more than chilly with the addition of rain this night.I tend to arrive at approximately 10 to 20 minutes after the listed showtime (the app has an info tab when selecting a showtime that is essentially a disclaimer saying that the movie will start at an approx. time after so many trailers)Unfortunately AMC policy or procedure has management locking the doors 15 minutes after the last movie starts. Again, actual start time is different than the showtime. AMC reminds the consumer of this under an info tab.I was visibly shivering when getting my tickets. We and some others were at the door knocking while staff watched from consessions. We were eventually let in by an employee and not security.I voiced my frustrations at the kiosk and was interrupted by a man in a grey hoodie. I asked if he was on staff and management because he wasnt in formal AMC uniform attire. He stated he was security.He then told me I could leave because of my attitude or change it. He then asked if I got my tickets.Essentially getting my tickets despite any inconvenience is the standard for assessing if a consumer is being fairly served.I am very curious at what point if any is security hired by AMC able to interject in a customer service complaint. Nothing about the conversation escalated to a level where his services would be required. Instead he put himself there.I approached a manager about him being rude and she gave me the same answer about policy and procedure as the employee at the kiosk did. I cut what I wanted to be a formal complaint short because he was approaching the conversation. It felt very much like a bullying tactic at that point.He could have stayed checking the locked front doors. This is where he went after our encounter at the kiosk. I want to point out that he checked these doors. The same doors an employee opened for several of us waiting outside. I want to stress how that employee should have never been the one to open those doors past locking if security is available. Should anyone have been the wrong type of person, a criminal, security at AMC would have been putting this employee at risk unnecessarily.Quickly, back to the concessions where I tried to speak to a manager. I would have purchased a drink and popcorn. We do often get a drink at the bar inside AMC and load up on concessions because of the A-list rewards. Additionally saving on tickets with A-list helps... unfortunately we both felt unsafe with the person running security around. We were worried hed escalate the situation by using his authority inappropriately.In this case I believe he began to do so by injecting himself into a customer complaint/customer service issue that probably could have been resolved with some warm popcorn. I only wanted to be heard.I work in retail. If someone has an issue, even if the issue is the result of sound policy and procedure, it is the responsibility of management to provide good customer service when possible. Sometimes the customer is wrong and we still need to make that effort for business sake.In this case there was no sign or indication the theater would be locked at a specific time. Despite there being a movie scheduled for 10pm that wouldnt actually start playing until approx. 20 minutes later.We had to stand in the cold/rain while knocking for someone to answer. Then when frustrated by the policy my complaints were addressed by security not management over an issue not of safety but of customer service. My tone was nothing more than clear frustration. A member of AMC security used this frustration as an excuse to show authority as opposed to opting for a more customer service oriented approach.We saw our movie, yet bothered.

This place was really cool. The screen was wondeful and they had a coke machine that u could pick any flavor u want!!!! So if i wanted coke grape the machine would have made it for me. And the people are very nice.

Pop machines typically are out of the flavor syrups. Employees arent that friendly. Popcorn isnt very fresh. Was an emagine, which I love, but AMC is doing the bare minimum here.

Very dirty movie theater. The seats dont fully recline very disappointed in that. The controls for the seats were very sticky.in bathrooms, neither soap dispenser had soap in yhem so couldnt even wash my hands properly. Definitely will not be back. But I thoroughly enjoyed the movie with my best friend :-)

Went and saw endgame in 2d here. They have reclining seats. The buttons are a little hard to push. Im 54 and the neck rest never right my height anywhere. Comfortable otherwise.

Lovely experience...went early in three day for matinee and was greeted by pleasant staff as well as a clean inviting environment...wonderful!! I also noticed they have a bar for later show times if you want to endulge. You cant go wrong. I do recommend.

Nice theatre, but a bit pricey. AMC theatres always seem to be higher priced than other chains. I went to a matinee by myself and wound up plunking down $20 for my ticket, a regular size popcorn and a regular size drink. However, you get to sit in sofa like recliner seats that are huge and can adjust anyway you want. I dont have stuff like that at home, so I figure the money was worth it. An enjoyable experience.

My favorite of the AMCs. Seating from being a former Emagine theater go a massive way towards that.

Its a really nice theatre. Seems to cater more to adults, rather than kids. never crowded. On one hand, it makes for a more enjoyable experience; on the other hand, it cant be good for business. I hope they are around for a long time. I really like it there.

Im not sure who manages this location but they need to be fired. Everytime I come to this location the movie theater is gross from the concession to the bathroom. If this wasnt the closes amc to me I would never go here!

Its a nice theatre & I just watched the new Halloween movie. It was pretty good. But upon check in there were no Premiere line at all neither at concession stand. Why we pay for these extras but not getting the royal treatment at this location? But I will still come back!

Went to see A Star is Born. Good movie, a little drug out though ( no pun intended ). Theater was clean, not busy. As always, the staff were friendly and helpful when I couldnt get my seat to work. Plenty of leg room here, comfortable seats. Make sure you grab an adult beverage in the lobby on your way to your seat!

Went to go see Halloween today. When we had gotten there, they had lost power. We walked in and were handed free AMC movie vouchers. Our movie started about 10 minutes late, but other than that, everything was perfect. Popcorn was delicious, and they have pop machines that you can pick and mix your own, which is pretty awesome.
