Keep going in to purchase blades for my Cricket paper cutter and never has them. The only Cricket thing they had were the machines. There paper selection was not very diverse. Seems to not keep things up to date.

If youre looking for cheap canvas stay away from the big wall, behind the aisle of oil paints and watercolors should be the artists lofts bulk canvas aisle w/ packs of 10 or 5 for as little as 10$ varying sizes. Also recommend before going into an aisle the ends have the best deals! Michaels.com will have the coupon you need, retailmenot does not. Always clean and friendly staff :)

A friend and I were in MI visiting her family and went to this store (Woodhaven MI) to pick up a few things for the the kids to do while visiting.My friend Sandy went in the womens restrooms and almost got sick. she had to leave and find another to use. she said she was appalled by the human waist on the floor in the stalls. and how unsanitary it was. we spoke to a young male with his pants ridding below his butt about it and his attitude was (what do you want me to do about it?).

I always enjoy going into the store or shopping online. I can always get the items I need and also the help I need.

I havent been to a Michaels store in a very long time. I have always gone to Pat Catans but since they are closed now I dont have much of a choice. Michaels was neat, clean and orderly. I would have given them five stars but I found the prices, especially on framed pictures, quite high. The check out was easy and my salesperson was extremely helpful.

Ive really only been to Michaels for the custom framing service. Its pretty great. Ill use the service again.

Great iteration of the chain. Always clean, well stocked, and has what I need. Staff are also great at this location, and the store is organized really well, which helps with the flow of customers since its a pretty busy shop.

I find it too difficult to ever find what Im looking for in there, and when you need assistance to find something it seems like there is no one around. However, the staff is kind enough to guide you.

I like the store in general but this is more hobby than craft oriented. Hobbyists spend more while crafters look to make stuff cheaper in their spare time. Their prices are a bit spicy for me although there are some good deals to some things now and then. 4 stars I like it. It didnt impress me so...not 5. But as a store in general it was clean and staff was being helpful. I went around Christmas time when the holiday craziness was on. But still clean and well stocked.

This place has everything and things you didnt even know you wanted or needed. The employees have been really nice especially the one that works the evenings at the register- so very kind!

This one seems to have a better stock of items than the one on Eureka.

Tons of hobby supplies. Flowers, baking, knitting, painting, decorating, slime, frames. All kinds of things. I almost always find what I need and can always find a good alternative if the original item wasnt available.

This Michaels does not have a fabric section.The staff here is so friendly and helpful. They are like your cool aunts who know everything about crafting and they always tell you about current coupons.

Most of the time very expensive. Sonetimes they will have good deals on one or two items that noone else does. Very under staffed. Usually only one employee at the registers and Ive never seen an employee on the floor.Not a good place for party supplies, especially balloons. Great selection of jewelry making suppliers.

I’ve been going to the MichaelsWoodhaven location for over 8+ yearsI get a lot of framing done there-always GREAT-This past year is horrible- very RUDE-the matting is & has been uneven the last couple times I went & I show them & they do t care line they used to.It’s to bad because the lady who used to run the back(I won’t name names) she’s no longer at that location & ever since she left so did the GREAT service & professionalism-i now take my business elsewhere.

Great selections of items, some friendly staff. But their prices are a lot higher than any other store like this! Id definately go there more often if that wasnt the case.

I was looking for kinetic sand in my grand kiddos chosen colors. I found plenty of other great craft ideas materials and other great sales, but only natural sand colors. Walmart had the colored sands, I was looking for. I didnt have time to order on line, time gets away too quickly. So glad I was able to get the ONE thing in the color they wanted for their birthdays. Just surprised Michaels had not restocked the colored sand.

I like Michaels but dont go there without joining there online & sign up for emails so you can get discounts because I only buy with my discount. Theyre to high priced otherwise. I also buy when things are on sale but it has to be at least a 40% or more or even on clearance because then you will be actually getting it at a normal or better price. Sorry but thats my take on it!

Went there to get an antique engraving framed but they wanted wayyyy too much. I even had my own antique frame . I really only needed a small mat board. When I mentioned that, she said the high price of the job was because of the skill to do it . So I took it home and did it myself (with minimal skill and zero experience) for a fraction of the price

Horrible service. Went on a Saturday, 3 cashiers and 2 employees hanging out talking in the craft room. NO other employees on the floor to help customers. I will not recommend or go to this store again. Making sure to tell everyone of the lack of customer service in this store. This was the first time I have ever visited this store and definitely will be the last.

I buy online and pick up in store a lot. Its super simple, CSRs are always nice and quick and getting my product from behind the counter. My fave craft store!!!! & when buying things for holidays.

This posting is strictly for the custom framing department. I needed to replace the glass on a framed print. The size of the glass was 24 by 36, which I understand is a large piece of glass. I took the print to their framing desk, and was quoted a price of over $200. I asked if I could apply one of their coupons, like their 40% off 1 item coupon, but was told that does not apply to custom framing. I was told I could save 75%, If I were buying new framing. I explained, I only needed the glass, and thought I would be able to qualify for some discount, but was told I did not. I called Joann Fabrics, who gave me 65% off their listed price on the glass, and my price was a little over $100. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Michaels, and will be giving my business to Joann Fabrics.

I teach art classes there and we have so much fun! Plus i can buy all my art supplies there on good deals! Associates/management is amazing! All are passionate about our customers/products/eachother!

Beautiful store with plenty of stock. HOWEVER...Management has a serious problem of displaying a negative attitude towards staff in front of the customer.I got a gift card for my Birthday and wanted to get some craft supplies to have a cute painting night with my girlfriend. What should have been a pleasant, if not fun, experience picking out paints was interrupted by arguing and micro management.Over by the paint isle it seemed as if two employees couldnt help but argue. One talking down to the other because something wasnt in the right planogram location. So I assume. It was noticable and quite distracting from what I hoped would be a calm easy going visit.Secondly we get to ring up at the counter. Our clerk was wonderfully polite. A nice women who asked twice if we wanted rewards and that in itself is just good service right? I dont want coupons but hey maybe it drives sales so she is doing her job.Except she wasnt using the scanner right according to the micro manager. Again interrupting a good visit. Yes they work the same as the clerk pointed out. Sure sounds like there is rensentment for management... Reflecting on the paint argument.Anyway, its corporate that wants it that way. Still should be said after we left and maybe behind closed doors. But this manager made sure to point it out in such a tone that made me say,Hey I got this for birthday. I wanted a fun experience shopping here. If it wasnt with arguments between employees and that scanner comment. Ill go to another Michaels. Somewhere fun.Bless the clerk. That women doesnt need management like that... Even apologized to her directly because she just rang up near $80 in product.Michaels please hear this and help your store out by working with management.The disgust on her face when I said it, said everything... Management could care less about people in general it seems.
