Wonderful place for a hot day! Tables and large grass area for a family picnic. Feeling hot? Go to splash pad! Gotten a bit too cold from the water, work it off on the large playground. Endless playground of fun. Hard for kids to leave the place. Only 2 unisex bathrooms though.

Fantastic place for toddlers & early school age! The “soft” spongy ground cover is fantastic. So much nicer than sand, pea gravel or wood chips. There are several covered areas, nice for those hot days...and a water feature area that is perfectly suited to young children!!I will share that because there is so much to do here and plenty of space, it can be really easy for little ones to get away from you quickly, so keep a good eye out! There are also several large open areas for in/out, and a large wooded area, so again, know where you little one(s) are!Wonderful park/playground area overall, one of the very best in the area! It’s a go~to place for toddler play!Of note: restrooms available, picnic tables on site, great grassy areas for blanket picnics :)

By far the best playground I have ever been to! This playground has everything you could dream of. It has a wide variety of things to play on, swings, and the kids zipline! What I love most is that this place is wheelchair friendly all the way around! Wheelchairs can easily access the grounds as well as onto the play equipment. There are larger handicap accessible swings and even a handicap seat for the Zipline!

Great place to play. Very LARGE AREA so its best to bring help if you have a lot of kiddos to keep an eye on. Also it would be a good idea for kiddos to wear water shoes as the play ground area is very hot. It has a restroom right there near the splash pad. Not much shade so sunscreen or beach umbrella is good idea

Pretty cool place to take kids to...be careful, however, the playground area can get super hot (so bring a towel for kids to sit on for the slides and the swings) and the water splashing area needs to be cleaned because the algae that has formed can get super slippery. overall, great place though

A few weeks ago, I visited this park with my special needs son. As I was pushing him up the ramp, I was asked by a little girl Whats wrong with him? I then pushed him up to the tunnel where two boys were fighting and one shoved the other one into my son.Being a parent of a special needs kiddo, I will never visit this park again. There are too many kids that parents fail to explain to them that there may be special kiddos at this park.

This park is great for children of all ages. It has a nice safe foam ground around the entire play ground and it is huge. My 14 year old had just as much full as my 2 year old. It is though very busy at times with a lot of unattended children since it is at a hockey rink, baseball complex, and soccer complex. We dont though seem to have any issues with the unattended children. There is a nice splash pad attached. Just look over the splash pad area before allowing your children to play in the water. 2x now we have had poop in the water area. Parents please clean up after your children. It is a little shocking that a parent leaves their childs mess for every one else not to mention how sick other children can get from that. Over all of you are looking for a large play ground with tons to do this is the playground for you. The one thing I think I love the most about it is the foam ground. It is clean and safe for little ones.

This is one of my favorite parks in the suburbs, totally worth the drive for families living in the cities. The park is handicap accessible for little ones which is lovely. Because of this, its also a great park for little kids, lots of ramps and rails to hold on to. Bring your bike or roller blades and enjoy the perfectly manicured trails around the playground. There is a water feature at this playground but it is zero depth and more like a splash pad. I usually dont bring swimsuits but its not a bad idea. There are nice bathrooms on site.

Hands down one of the best parks in the Twin Cities metro!!The ground is bouncy, padded and forgiving. The play, swing and slide options are numerous. The splash pad is awesome...and the seating and table options are ample. There are a few semi shaded areas as well, with a set of public restrooms.Bring your own food and beverages, and its a great day waiting to happen!

Wow! An amazing playground for children of all ages. A hidden gem that not even my friends and family know about. The place is very clean. Area is huge to run and play. There is even a water area too. Some of the features this place have are very unique such as the bouncy surface and small rides. The bathroom is right next to the playground for easy access. Definitely a place worth to bring your kids to have fun. There are tables all around the playground as well but no stove to cook so youll have to bring your own if you want to do a picnic cook out.

I love this playground! It is wheelchair accessible - which makes it attainable for any child of any ability. It is large and open - so great for running around. The splash pad assists with a refresher on hot days. And theres surrounding green space to park for a picnic while the little ones play. The only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is that theres no shade. So sunny summer days can get HOT. But its a wonderful playground big enough to entertain for hours!

I think this place is great - but I wish they would put a fence around it so it could be safer. Because it is so big, it just is easy for the kiddos to get hidden and you gotta keep a very close eye since there is so many exits and entrances as there is no fencing.

Spacious playground with lots of accessible equiptment! We spent a full morning here and it would be a fun place to pack a picnic. The one downside, in my opinion, is that its so large that I couldnt see my toddler if I was sitting on one side and they went to play on the other. This would likely not be an issue with older children or if you didnt also have an infant to nurse :)!

The park is HUGE and I had anxiety the entire time because my twins run in opposite directions and it was busy as heck. However my kids loved it. They slept so long after playing here. Nice big playground and its very accessible for both parents and children with disabilities however being that its very big its very hard to keep an eye on your children when theres lots of kids there. Also theres a retention Pond right next to it that is not really fenced in. Itd be really nice if they fenced-in the playground and splash pad with a couple gates, as I am constantly worried about my kids getting in the pond or into the parking lot. My daughter is autistic and bolts for the pond constantly, which is why we dont come here. Great Park for the kids stressful for the parents of little ones.

Fantastic park! The size of it alone is just amazing. The equipment is very modern, and the variety is excellent. My 2 year old navigates this place with ease, and I feel he is safe everywhere he goes. As a parent, one of my favorite things is that the ground isnt dirt or wood chips, but a rubber sort of turf. So no sand in the shoes! Then there is the splash pad. Holy cow is it awesome! Many ways to play with the water, and even has a little area set up with toddlers in mind.I highly recommend this park. If you are ever on the east side of the twin cities with your little ones, make it a point to check this place out. You and your kids wont be disappointed!
