I havent caught anything but the lake is very nice to go fishing. They have plenty of picnic tables and 2 docks that has picnic table to sit while fishing or having a nice picnic. They have a really easy gravel trail that goes around the pond and also it leads in a forest that goes out the other end. So it a circular trail. I counted as a 1 mile trail. Lovely to bring families.

Beautiful place tucked into a residential area. Perfect place for family picnics/birthday parties. Or to just to go for a walk, ride a bike, or fish.

Beautiful place tucked into good’ol Wood Dale. I run it every morning and it never disappoints. Nice gravel trail, and half of the mile circuit is in a forest that’s just as nice as the pond on the other half. Lots of parking & benches.

Been going here for as long as I remember with my parents. Fishing,bbqs, walks, looking for frogs. Now Im almost 30 and take my children. Great place for family time/events/ or even if you want some alone time. Even sometimes on occasion a nice talk with a person Passing by. Recommend to everyone

Very clean. Restrooms were as good as expected but no sinks for hand washing. Bring water for drinking and cleaning up. Lots of space for distancing yourself. Beautiful area!

The atmosphere and space was just fine. Maybe I will meet a single woman there one day.

Nice place. Pretty little pond, decent and fun to fish in. Easy trails. Nice getaway thats close to home. Even my kid was able to catch a few at 2-1/2 years old. 2 piers and plenty of shoreline. Very colorful in the fall. Can get a little crowded and noisy at times though.

Very nice and well maintained......good place to fish, grill, have a party in one of the two pavillians ( with permit ), or just kick-back and relax while people watching.....even has a bike and jogging path around the lake if you get the urge to break a sweat...... LOL.

Very nice little park. The lake is crystal clear and you can see everything in the water.

Nice little preserve

This forest preserve is nice to visit, there is parking if you take your vehicle. Then there is a trail so you can walk or run around. It was a bit cold but it was relaxing to walk while talking. I saw other people with their family and a few just by themselves, getting their steps in. They have a calendar of events and it includes fishing, volunteering and stuff for the kids to do. There are a few benches if you want to seat and relax. They do have men and woman washrooms just in case so it basically a nice place to come and checkout.It is so nice to spend time outdoors and breathe fresh air.

Beautiful Park for walking, running, biking, fishing etc. Apart from this i see many folks having picnics as well. All in all a very nice setting with a decent trail for a nice shaded walk.

Great place for walks

Great place to sit by the water or take a walk. You can go around the pond or walk the forest in the back, I highly recommend both. I am taking my husband and camera next time for s long fun walk

Great venue for our annual company picnic.

Nice place for biking, birding and fishing. Path isnt too far around, so I went around a few times, and didnt have to worry about not making it back to my car. Spotted a lone Pied-billed Grebe here today.

Great place for outdoor activities. They have a gravel circular path, 2 fishing piers, and restrooms. Every warm and sunny day in the summer, people are always picnicking and enjoying the scenery.

I went here for trout fishing. Didnt catch anything, of course. Trail is a little geese poopy, but the toilets were clean and had toilet paper. Not much else to say about this place!
