This company sponsors my Grandsons E-Sports High school Team I am not aVideo game player at all. The staff are Really Friendly and helpful. You get there early to fill out the forms to sign in. All of the instructions are Easy to Follow. You can go with groups. Plenty of parking. You schedule the play time online
My fiancee and I went here for date night and had a blast. The staff was very attentive, supportive, and friendly. We played the escape/puzzle room, beat saber, and the gunslinger games. The VR equipment appear clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back to hangout here some more in the future, thanks MindTrek team!
Came for a birthday party, and wasnt sure what to expect. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions, and when I expressed interest in playing a different game while we were waiting for our turn in the large group experience, they were able to help and fit me right in! Highly recommend, even though I am a novice gamer I still had fun! Great for groups of people and we will definitely be back.
Nestled in the back of a small shopping plaza, MindTrek Woburn is something you dont want to miss. Upon entering the facility you can see they take the highest care maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment, lockers and waiting area. While this typically seems like something of little importance to the average gamer I assure you it should not be! You will be speed walking, sweating, and practically shouting at your teammates to save you in the game play. So the cleaner the better. Now back to the game play: The first time I went I played Zombie Outbreak. As your trusted digital companion let me just tell you it is extremely LACKLUSTER. Dont waste your money! Our first experience was overwhelmed with technical difficulties. Everything from the headsets not working to rebooting the system 3 times.Despite this, MindTrek Woburn did right by us and invited us back at not cost. Everything was PERFECT. Singularity was LIFE CHANGING and at times I forgot it was a game. It encouraged friendly communication, strategy, and inspired amusement from my entire team.Lastly, I hope you shoot better than I! I died 20 times.
A beautifully fun experience one which will have you wishing for a season pass. The customer service was amazing and even felt overstaffed. From the first moment we walk through the door we were greeted with smiles and welcoming. We played on the many game consoles while we waited for our reservation. Virtual reality is the future and these guys are well on stairway to showing the world the possibilities. Im surprised at how good of a workout actually got while in vr. My blood was pumping my muscles straing as I felt I was really in the scenario. For those that wear glasses each VR headset eye port has a slider to dial in 20 / 20My only con would be I wish they had more locations. Being from Florida I can only come when in Boston.I highly recommend this for any one who likes video games.
The staff were very polite and professional. Loved how they explained everything, and how patient they were with everyone. The games were also very entertaining and fun. It was my first time playing VR, and I spent a lot of time just looking at the scenery.I would recommend this place for everyone!
Its a very amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they have games set up for you to play while you wait for your turn, and the equipment is very comfortable and clean. The games are very fun and absolutely impressive.
Awesome technology. So fun. Definitely recommend it to anyone. Some people j went with were skeptical about it but they came out loving it. If youre a gamer you will absolutely love it. The graphics in game are more game like than real but you really think you are in the game and could fall off things or youre really up high when in fact youre on a flat one level floor in Woburn.
Mindtrek was a total blast! A group of 15 of us went and spent 90 min playing. The whole setup is very professional and the games themselves are a blast! We did 2 different ones that were us fighting zombies. We had to break into 2 teams that played separately as you can only have 8 in a match. The motion tracking was very accurate and it felt like being in an actual zombie attack. The feeling you get when youre ripping into zombies with machine guns while trying to cover your team so you can escape was really cool, felt like being in a movie. I didnt get dizzy or nauseous at all, and the only weird feeling was at the end once you take off the mask you have a min or two of feeling like you just got off a treadmill. It was pretty hot, but they gave us bottles of water and the lobby was nice and cool. All in all a fantastic experience that was easy to learn and a blast with friends!
Amazing fun for the family. Not an inexpensive event, but so worth it to me. The kids definitely agree! They wont forget this outing anytime soon.
Really cool. Went for a work gathering and it was really fun. The two games I played were about 45 minutes and the time flew. It does take some getting used to and your first 10 minutes will probably feel a bit weird, but once you acclamate its really fun.
Wow! What a great team-event my international group had. Extremely well organized and accommodating. We arrived via bus and were in game in less than 15 minutes. 3/4 of our folks had never used VR and LOVED it! Expect more business from my greater corporation. The word will be spread. Till next time!
This is a great place to get your first vr experience. Had come here for a company outing and it was a good team building thing to do.
Super fun time! Kind of expensive but it’s totally worth it for everyone to try out at least once.
Great experience, game had to be paused a number of times which was a little annoying. Quality is pretty good. Great spot for kids, family, friends.
Always a fun time. The staff are great and the games are sooooooooo much fun!!Can’t wait for next time!!!
Went here on the weekend of 10/13 with my boyfriend for his birthday. He had a blast and I did as well. Vinny and Austin were amazing and accommodating given that we had signed up during a time a childrens birthday was also happening. They were awesome and are so appreciative of their help in making sure we had a good time. We would love to go back again if we are in the area and would reccomend as its a fun activity for all ages
Very cool experience. We did the 30 minute Singularity game and it was amazing how immersive the experience was. There are console games to play in the lounge while you wait for your VR game, which was nice. Price point is a bit high but overall it was a great time.
So awesome! I did three warrior sessions in one day and was amped for more! So much fun when competing with seven of your friends or joining other parties..Get Down to MindTrek VR ASAP.
An incredible experience which is literally fun for the whole family (12 and up). It can’t be explained, it has to be experienced!I recommend showing up early and playing console games or rent time on the gaming computers.
Awesome experience definetly recommend you to check out their variety of Virtual Reality Games for a great experience regardless of what you choose.
This. Place. Is. Awesome.Anyone who is a gamer should go here... Its so fun and a great price for what you get.... Staff is amazing, helpful, fun an just as nerdy as you... If I had all the monies Id go here a lot more
Can it be improved-off course but I would do it again as it was fun. The game aspect is a lot of fun, and people freak out when zombies or aliens come out of nowhere. You will lose track of time as you are focusing on your own game play, and be very careful of all the instructions or you will hit one of your friends or wall. LoL!
This place is super rad, and its already invested in getting new games and updating technology. Very cool stuff already there too!
My experience at MindTrek VR woburn was nothing short of amazing! Our gamemaster, Trevor Bonitto, was awesome! He offered us the best choices of games for my four man crew! We loved (and I mean LOVED) Beat saber!!!! We also liked Revolver, nothing better than cappin some friends! I highly recommend this place, check it out!!!!
Absolutely amazing! One of the best thing I have tried in a while. We tried Zombile survival and was one hell of a experience. Staff was super friendly and assist you while you are in-game too. I have tried VR in Chicago but nothing like this. If I come back to Boston, I am definitely coming here! Everyone who calls themselves Gamer should try this.
Love this place. A little pricey but worth it.

This place is wikid awesome for the whole family! A bit pricey but def something new and fun to do! Especially on rainy days!
Super fun experience. We had a team of 5 go through the Zombie defense and Search for the cure which was good but the defense was more intense and fun for us. Overall great time and could easily have spent a full day with their other activities like escape room.
Awesome experience!! Highly recommend! A+++++++
Im glad I went once. Decently run place. But the price point and the amount of time you get to spend playing for that money would prevent me from ever trying it again. $50-$60 for a half hour-45 minutes of actual playing time? No thanks. For they money Id expect at least a few hours of entertainment. Heck, I could ride numerous actual rides for that price.
Way better than expected, everyone in our group had a great time, and the staff was very friendly and personable. Before we started the VR we were able to play some console games while we waited, which was alot of fun as well.
Always had great experience here..
Amazing. Full scale vr experience
Love this place! Great games and love that they have other games to play while waiting. Had an amazing time!!
Its pretty fun if youre going with family or friends. My only slight complain is that the graphics is not HD, but I went 2 times and I had a lot of fun both time
Amazing experience, we went with all six family members, it’s a whole other world, and our game master was the best
Held party here for group of 12 year olds. Singularity game experience was amazing- boys loved it. Staff were excellent, patient, very knowledgeable. Super easy booking and registering experience. Highly recommend MindTrek game experience.
I arranged to have part of my brothers bachelor party here. Such a good decision. The staff were great and very accommodating and everyone had an amazing time. I strongly recommend checking it out. So much fun and will be back again!
Super fun, especially in a group.
This was an amazing experience -- theyve done an amazing job of making sure you dont feel hemmed in during your game. I did not experience any motion sickness, and everyone in the group had a blast.Only downside is the price/time - 50$ for a 30-45 minute experience is bordering on prohibitively expensive. I understand the expense that goes into designing such an amazing experience, but Id either like them to extend the length of the games, or find a way to reduce the cost (group discounts, repeat customer discounts, referrals?)
Amazing experience. Went for a team event and everyone had a blast. The games were in the intense category and might be a bit overwhelming for some people. The employees were very approachable and hospitable. Definitely recommend it.
Awesome time. Cant wait to go back. Definitely go for an hour it goes so fast.
Really fun experience with virtual reality. Zombies and gun-slinging. The staff explained everything about safety and made should we enjoy the ride.
Short story. Tons of fun, ability to move about freely, a bit pricey, a little bit of lag(not sickening lag though). We played ZombieX2 with 6 players.Try it out even if you dont play video games. VR is for everyone!Detailed review:I have a slight obsession with VR. Ive tried so meant different headsets. DK2, Vive, Rift, PSVR, Pimax4K, Windows Mixed, Reality, and even mobile sets like GearVR, Cardboard, and Daydream. This VR experience was like no other. The ability to freely walk around wirelessly was what really sealed the deal. I tried to get some footage of people playing, and for the most part they were relatively still. I didnt get it... I have a room scale setup myself, but even the boundaries of my office hamper the experience. With MindTrek, you can move about the ENTIRE map without having to watch out for walls. Other players are visible so you dont need to worry about bumping into anyone. When you get close, there is a warning letting you know where they are. There are two platforms and a large square area at the bottom. Along with elevators to go up and down. The entire map is able to be traversed. There are boundaries where the zombies come at you, but you dont want to go there anyway, so its fine. Being able to hold your rifle in your hand and have it mapped in VR was SUPER. COOL! Seeing your friends in VR around you was also super cool!4 stars... Why? Well, the framerate COULD be better. Its a big thing to ask for since the headsets, rifle, and backpack are all wireless. But there was some lag in game. It sort of breaks immersion, but not as much as youd think. Also, I get that this is expensive hardware, and the rent on the place probably isnt cheap... But MindTrek IS expensive. We went on a Groupon so the price wasnt too bad. Id recommend pulling together a group of 6-8 and doing that. $50 for 2 rounds of play is steep. One last thing, the player proximity warning is a bit much. I can totally see why they NEED to do it. They dont want people falling over or slamming into each other with expensive gear on. But, it is IN YOUR FACE and if two people are up on a platform its almost impossible to NOT have it up there. I would prefer it to be slightly lower, maybe blink so it gets your attention. Or even some transparency on it would be nice. But the majority of people dont really have VR experience, so I cant really dock them too much for it. We also played with 6. If 8 were in the map, I could see crowding being a bigger issue... But Im not too sure. All in all, I do want to go back again soon. This place is super cool and the people are wicked friendly. Highly recommend trying it out. Even non-gamers will have fun.
Our group of 4 had a blast. The vr experience is so impressive and we all couldnt believe we didnt know this existed until a week ago. Brian and the entire staff were great . We talked about how much fun we had the entire hour long drive home and we all cant wait to go again
I cant say enough great things about this place. Staff was polite and entertaining and the game Singularity was extremely fun. A bargain at twice the price and you better believe if I go back to Boston Ill be going here again!
Amazing experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a thrill. Had a fantastic time with friends playing the singularity game mode. Staff (we had Sam) was extremely useful and friendly throughout the entire experience. Super fun and just the right amount of time for it.
I went here with a friend about two weeks after it opened. It was an absolute blast! It was like being inside a video game. After getting a brief overview of the equipment and the rules of the game, we were led to the arena. All of the gear was comfortable and easily adjusted. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as humorous! The game itself was very intense, and even though the arena floor is flat, there are multiple levels in the game, so you could ride elevators that changed your perspective, even though your body never actually moved. The graphics were good and the software well designed. The virtual reality really gets your heart pumping when you turn around to find yourself and your team surrounded by zombies! It was an amazing experience, I highly recommend it.
Went with a group. We had a great time, definitely makes you feel like a kid again.
Was a great experience. Went with a group of co-workers and we all had a great time, even us older ones.
One of the most bizarre experiences. Strangely intense and real.
This was an incredibly unique experience I would recommend to anyone that has any love for video games. I have some complaints about the tracking quality and it was difficult to keep the headsets in focus.I thought the staff were particularly good.
Was such a great time. Went for a work outing and plan to go back. The staff made it fun and memorable
This was so much fun and the staff was so friendly. I definitely want to come back here soon and try out their other game types. My group did the zombie gamemodes and they are really dynamic and exciting. 10/10
If you go with a group if friends, you will enjoy it a lot.
The VR is pretty amazing. Definitely a fun outing with friends
My friend and I had a blast here! The staff is very nice and welcoming! But, what you really want to know about is the gameplay.... It was amazing! My friend and I spent our time slaying zombies and having a ton of fun! The employees told me that a few months from now that they will have a Halo like game coming to Mind trek VR Woburn. I will definitely return for another session. I suggest you check it out. You will not be disappointed.
This place is awesome!
Awesome is what my kid said....he totally loved it. New gaming experience...just drop uour kids and then go shopping ... 1-2hr just pass by and both are happy
A top notch VR entertainment experience
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room escape (more like puzzle solving at room scale) is a great introduction to VR for any age, no prior experience needed, and very fun.
Great experience! My first time trying this and I would definitely go again!
Fun free roaming VR.
This was so much fun. It felt like a good amount of time and you really felt like you were in another reality. I highly recommend bringing all ages! Will definitely come back.
Great place with great staff. Highly recommend.
I dont really like playing video games, but this was amazing. It was like being sucked into a video game. I actually would get scared and jump back. Well worth the money!
That was WAY more fun than I expected. This is truly the future of gaming. First time I’ve really experienced VR as more than a gimmick. We did Engineerium and Singilarity. Both very different, both lots of fun. Moved around a lot more than expected!
This place is out of this world, a fantastic mind altering experience. Team up and battle against zombies, take a walk though an surreal maze, the possibilities are endless. I had a blast and will totally do it again. A++
Amazing experience. really felt like I was on top of a building. Cant wait to see what new stories they add.
Play Singularity, not the zombie scenarios. Singularity gameplay is overwhelmingly more strategic, immersive, and challenging than the linear point and shoot zombie scenarios. At ~$50 a pop, MindTrek is a little pricey for repeat plays. Its definitely worth making the trip at least once, though, if only for the experience- there really is nothing else like it.
Excellent experience even for someone like me who is not too much into video games. Customer services was great too.
A long time ago, arcades were a big thing. Kids would come and marvel at the newest technologies and games. As computers and consoles advanced, there was no longer a need to go out to arcades. People could enjoy a gaming experience in the comfort of their homes with their friends, and there wasnt much value add in going to a arcade aside from nostalgia.Mindtrek changed this. Even top tier home VR systems arent in the same league as what they have. Mindtrek has something truly revolutionary here. The massive free rooming room, the ability to handle multiple people and coordinate their location in a virtual world by walking, and their well made props that interact in both the real and virtual world make this an unforgettable and next level expreince. Its more like paintball in a holodeck without the pain.On top of that, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you go youll be hooked. The free roaming games also help alleviate motion sickness, an infamous VR issue, since movement is in line with reality, thanks to the size of the area.
They opened for just a week, so like most of the newly open places, they intended to be very nice and welcoming. The one downside is their 3D technology is like 3D movies in the theater - blurry imagine and gives you minor headache when you wear the glasses more than couple minutes. Another problem is the gun, it is too heavy to hold on for a long time especially for females. For $50/person, I excepted a bigger scene and better resolution than what they have. However, they are the only one in the US so far and hopefully they would create more/bigger scenes.
Yes! This place is awesome. The VR is amazing and I completely lost myself in the immersive game. I could have played this for hours. Definitely want to come back and try again.
Totally awesome experience! Very easy and fast process to start playing and great games.
I went after work with a co working. I was a little skeptical if it was worth the $49. As soon as I walked though the door I was welcomed by the friendly helpful staff. Sam was our staff leader and made sure we had the best Vr experience ever. The game was ‘amazingly intense’. Moving around freely, going up elevators, and zombies that you will be backing away from. This place is worth every penny. Thanks MindTrek. We will be back soon.
Fun but a little pricey.
Really good good staff good vr.. did zombies and relvovr.. 10min of relvovr a lot of burn on legs as you crouch move and spin more than zombies
The only way to experience VR. Large play areas, high-tech gear and cool staff make the trip worthwhile. Beating your friends scores is addictive too!
Fun team building activity!
Mind bending experience, truly wish someone would open something like this in Colorado. Franchise opportunity?
Best experience, very nice staff . Very helpful . I had loose my cash from my pocket, very luckily they found it on the chair I was seating . They gave my cash back wen game was finishRecommend to experience this game .
Having never done anything like this before, I wasnt sure what to expect. The technology is phenomenal! MindTrek staff was excellent in explaining how to play before entering the arena and guiding during the game. Still amazed at how I went up in an elevator and my feet never left the arena floor!
My son and 7 of his friends had a blast. You cant wear glasses so its not crystal clear for some. A little pricey at 49 dollars per person.
This was great experience....the staff is really cool and the VR is at top of current tech.
Great fun and excellent service
Zombies was a great experience but the Singularity session was so buggy it was horrible. Not to mention you spend a lot of time in elevators and small rooms so you dont shoot as much. If you go just do zombies. Trust me it is much better than the incomplete Singularity.
Sooo fun hope the add more awesome games. A nice RPG would be perfect. Id go there even more
Awesome VR, better than anything else Ive tried and a great, friendly staff!
A lot of fun needed a group head band to keep the goggles clear. Tech difficulties with the gun they didn’t restart me just lost time but fun for sure.
Awesome experience. Unlike anything else out there. Definitely worth repeated visits.
Great place, great staff
