Great variety for young kids (under 2) up through middle school age on the playground sets. Plenty of space to run on the ballfields and a very nice setup with restrooms, hand wash stations and places to watch games from as a spectator.

The Highland Games 2020 was fantastic......those athletes gave it their all.........what an experience.......it was great to see it live compared to watching it on ESPN.......also the fine city of Oviedo did a spectacular job in handling all the traffic and the crowds.... also it was pretty painless getting in and out....cant wait for the next one...!!

This place is awesome, always super clean and top notch athletic fields. (If you find a hidden footpath behind the basketball courts youll be transported to another world, all these shots were taken back there)

We love this park. The only down fall is the amount of spiders and ants. Its nature so you get what you get, but if you sit at a table here, you will be covered.

Wow, so many fields! Very high quality baseball and soccer fields. A few bleachers in the shade of trees for soccer fans, but otherwise bring your own tents etc. Beautiful location. Nice lunch food and snack options available at reasonable prices. Nice permanent bathrooms in buildings.

Took the kids for the highland games. We go there many times throughout the year for great family time.

Central Winds Park is easy to find and get into, has lots of open space for kids and adults. No picnic facilities, but a great place for exercising, kite flying, soccer, etc. Right on the Cross Seminole Trail for walkers and bicycles.

Large park, mixed activities, plenty of shade.This is a great park with open playing fields, a huge dog park and three story playground with six swings. Set in a beautiful wooded area it is adjacent to the Cross Seminole trail making it easy to access from a bike. The perfect park for a group of friends or family.The restrooms were in good order when I visited. Bring mosquito repellent at certain times of year although most of the time they are not bad.

Well-manicured fields that quite spacious.Grew up playing on these fields, and they are the standard to measure against.My friends and I joke that are cleats are always cleaner after we leave here

We came from Atlanta to play Florida Krush and we left with that W! Facilities are Beautiful!! Great food at the concession stand as well!

Such an excellent park, I dont know where to even begin. 3 story playground IN THE SHADE. Thats a MUST for Florida playgrounds in my opinion. A set of six pretty standard height swings, no handicap/ADA settings though unfortunately, a nice sandbox for those who love the dirt, theres a single hoop basketball court and a double wide volleyball court. (2 separate/side by side) There are also 2 picnic pavilions each with power.

Absolutely enjoy the Scottish Highland Games held here each year. They are well organized. Its a full weekend of wonderful events, exceptional food & friendly vendors. The park is well maintained & they have an amazing three story playground. Of course I cant forget to mention The Epic Tree all the kids love to play on. There is no other park that I know of that even compares to this one. I highly recommend this place!

Love this park. In a good neighborhood. The playground is great for kids over 4 years old (seen a few 3 years and under kids getting hurt). Has basketball court and lots of fields, has concert stage overlooking lake. Has fishing place for fishing. Seen people biking the bike path area. Has short walking path from playground to stage, but was closed when we went. Make sure you have bug spray for mosquitos. its on lake Jesup which is a drop off lake for gators when Disney when it was being built so they are plentiful and big. Just be aware, but when we visited no gators thankfully. Hope we can make it back there soon.

The park is fantastic. There are 3 to choose from. All within walking distance. We played on the park with padded floors, which was a nice break for my knees and ankles.There is also another park that has Volley Ball Courts, a boardwalk around the Lake and a 3 story playground. You can even BBQ out there if you need. Id highly recommend the park for a fun day with the family or a special event.

It took way too long for me to finally find the playground area here. Its way off in the back down a side street that doesnt look like its even part of Central Winds Park. The one sign I found for it points in a misleading direction, so you cant even follow that. If youre there for a baseball game, you wont get lost. Otherwise, you might want to reach out to someone who has been here before. The playground is nice though if you can find it.

Fun park with a lot of options for everyone. A lot of fun city events are held here too; went for Independence Day. They had a band, a lot of tents and booths, bounce houses and games for kids, food trucks, and fireworks. Plenty of parking.

This is really a beautiful park with everything from soccer fields to baseball fields to bike trails. They even have a large dog park for the dog lovers. Great scenery as it sits at the edge of Lake Jessup. If you have not been you should check it out.

This park is amazing. It has a 3-story playground in a shaded, serene area close to a nature trail, the lake, swings, sand volleyball, basketball, and a few shaded gazebos.It also has a smaller playground near the baseball field. The entire park is vast and has many open fields for other sports. I recently visited the dog park. It was very nicely shaded but had no running water inside for the dogs to drink, also the grass was long. Otherwise it looked fairly clean and picked up.

The Highland games celebration at this beautiful park was so much fun. There was plenty of entertainment and food. The clans were well represented, there were lots of people but it wasnt overcrowded. It was a most enjoyable day celebrating our Scottish heritage.

I attended the Highlander Festival. I found this event well run with a high attendance. Very similar to a Renaissance Fair. The food and entertainment appeared to be enjoyed by all. The food was diverse and delicious. The park is beautiful and calming

Central Winds Park is absolutely amazing. This park has not only a massive baseball field but 4 of them in one area. The well kept plants that decorate the park make it look beautiful. It has a playground for kids in 2 locations of the park. The park also contains a lot of parking spaces so Ive never had an issue with parking. There is also an abundance of fields for soccer as well. All around its a huge, beautiful, family friendly park.

Winter Springs has its faults but their new playgrounds is not one of them. Central Winds beautiful playground and it is also wheelchair accessible for kids. Now that is awesome. Check out the pics to see the slides and other playground equipment.

Delicious as always. If you cant decide which one to get they will do a half and half. Also, they will do some pies that are no longer on the menu such as Philosophers Pie.

This park has it all - soccer fields, baseball fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, wide open spaces, pavillions for get togethers, large dog park, wide open spaces, pedestrian forest trails, access to Lake Jessup by foot and much more. It is maintained incredibly well and has easy access from SR 434.

It was great but too hot they should make more covered sitting area. We had to leave. My Yorkie got too hot. It was fixed up really well. Good job.

Beautiful park. My friend and I were her for the Central Florida Highland Games but I could see that even when there is no special event here, it is a wonderful place to enjoy sports or to just take in natures beauty.

Awesome park. Most days it is quite serene. Sports oriented, but no matter. The people in charge of maintaining take great pride and care, and it shows.

My husband and I went to this park for a gender reveal party, and I was so surprised how clean this giant park was. Will definitely go back again soon

There is not much direction in finding the proper soccer fields. Even the park associates didnt know where the U 12 fields were. Once we found them, the fields were in good shape.

Great park for family events, company picnics, and recreational activities, including soccer. The parking has been vastly improved making it easier to find the back playground and pavilions. The sand volleyball courts are well kept and there is plenty of shade to avoid the sun. The playground, in the back area, is probably intended for older kids ~ 4+ but still toddler friendly with a sandbox. Lots of area to spread out or have a group game.

This is a good park. Theres a lot to do. Love the field for picnics, and they frequently have events here (for July 4th, etc.). Theres an actual park for children to play at. There are places to walk around. Theres water that you can walk down to. There are fields for soccer and other sports. Theres also a dog park close to it.
