I took the Beginner acting class that started this past summer. I honestly did not know I was going to enjoy this as much as I did. Let me start with Debbie she is full of life and she has a great energy. She is always there for you to answer any questions. The receptionists are very friendly and efficient. The Acting coaches are AMAZING!!!! each one of them challenges you in different ways making you step out of your comfort zone. I discover skills I did not know I had. The staff is very professional. My daughter was enrolled in the teen acting camp and all of her instructors were knowledgeable about the industry. This is much more than an acting school! It was a place of therapy, a place to gain new friends/family and lots of fun! The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, pulling the best out of you in a loving way. I love the diversity in age, ethnicity and experience in the students and staff. No matter your skill level there was always something to learn and to give. I would be so tired some nights coming to class after working but the instructor along with my classmates always had a way of reviving me!

The classes offered here are wonderful for all ages! My child, my boyfriend, and his child are all currently enrolled in the acting classes and are enjoying learning all about the “industry” and how to break into it.The instructors are all top notch and will help you any way they can if you take the initiative and follow their coaching. In the modeling and acting industry, it can be confusing trying to determine whom to trust. The Maile School is one you can trust with your career. The school is consistent and capable. Their curriculum keeps up with the ever-changing industry. Their students consistently audition and work. The Maile School staff also maintain great relationships with industry professionals such as casting directors, photographers, and talent agencies.

I’m taking the advanced acting class now (with Lance who is AWESOME) and took the adult one previously. Also took modeling classes as a young kid. The staff is great. The instructors really care and combine different acting methods while also informing you about the business side of things. I leave every class feeling warm and fuzzy and excited to learn more. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll learn, and you’ll walk away with a sense of direction and hopefully some new friends of all ages. :-)

This school is really amazing for anyone looking to get into or stay active in acting and all the other programs they offer. Everyone here is super nice and welcomes you with open arms. Additionally, each month there are numerous drop in classes and seminars for anyone to take! Would 10/10 recomend for all ages and personalities looking to explore their talents.

I took an Adult Advanced Acting class at the Maile school and it was the best thing I could have done for my budding career! The staff is incredible and knowledgeable. The Maile School is a great place to start your career whether you’re wanting to act or model. I began attending class around the same time that I had started booking commercials. The class really kept me in the right mind set for auditions and I have since booked quite a bit of principal roles and recently began auditioning for TV/Film union work. My daughter attended a 1-day acting workshop in early Spring at Maile and she liked that so much that we decided to do 2 full summer camps (which are the same programs held on Saturdays during the school year). She took teen acting and teen modeling, and she loved both. Heres what I loved about the camps (theyre really just solid classes): after the first day of acting class and of modeling class, my daughter and every single kid in the class had created a group chat to stay in contact with each other. As a helicopter mom who reads her kids texts, the content of the group chat was wholesome, supportive, and positive every single time. The Maile School make sure the parents are just as informed as the kids, in case the child wants to get serious about the industry. They include multiple instructors for the acting classes, and they happened to be strong, capable women, which is always a bonus. And speaking of great role models, Miss Debby is consistently positive, constructive, and supportive of all the kids, ALL THE TIME. Shes a business owner and created her own success story, and shares that positivity with her kids and their parents. I started going to the Maile School when i was 12 years old to help build my confidence and self esteem. I was having a hard time in middle school since i was very shy and the Maile School gave me the confidence that i needed. I started with the Image and Confidence Program there and it was not only a ton of fun but it also gave me a lot of life lessons that I needed. I learned how to apply makeup properly and start a proper skincare routine. It really helped me feel comfortable in my own skin. I really liked the fact that they gave me interview tips. I never knew the importance of a good hand shake and eye contact until then. I then went and took the teen modeling class and it was really fun. I got to model in my first fashion show at the mall! I remember inviting all my friends to come and see me. Since I didn’t want the fun to end I signed up for the teen acting class. It was probably the most fun class I’ve ever taken. You make really good friendships that will last forever since they have the same interests as you. All your classmates are super supportive and really help you feel comfortable. I’m now 18 years old and love taking the adult classes. I take Lance’s intensive acting class on Wednesday nights. We do a lot of fun exercises that I think have really helped me grow as an actor. We get to really feel what’s it’s like to be filmed on camera. We get a scene and a scene partner and work on it for the next couple of weeks and each week he helps us perfect it. At the end of the class we film it on camera and get emailed the final product. I take this class ongoing since I always want to be practicing and getting better at the craft. The Maile School has helped me so much and i recommend it to everyone I know.

I love this school. Staff are very professional and very knowledgeable about this industry. My 10 yr old daughter completed the kids acting class as well as the advanced monologue acting class at the Maile School. Her acting skills have definitely sharpened by taking these classes and her confidence level has increased tremendously. If you are considering taking any acting courses this is definitely the place to be.

My son is 5 years old and he really improved his self confidence level after practicing numerous auditions and slates in front of the camera. I started with the Saturday modeling program . I had so much fun and I learned a lot .I learned how to do a cold read and the program helped me gain so much confidence . Mrs Debby and the rest of the teachers are so kind and professional. She makes the class fun and she connects with all the kids . My wife and I decided to get out of our comfort zone and signed up Jim Braswell’s Fall 2017 Improv class. Outside of elementary school plays, I had never taken a day of acting class. So imagine my anxiety when I found out that at the end of the 9-week session, we were going to hold a public live performance! But through training and the support of the Maile family, my anxiety lessened and my confidence grew. Jim is gifted in finding and cultivating the “inner funny” we have in all of us. I had so much fun going to class that it ended up being the highlight of my week every week. The trust and bond that we built with our teacher and fellow classmates is irreplaceable. The Maile School is very professional. The staff is ultra knowledgeable about the business and the classes are run by extrenely competent instructors. If you really want to excel in acting, vocal, or modeling, then the Maile school is the place to go. The classes build your confidence as a performer and by the time you are done, you know exactly what you need to do. They are so encouraging. This school covers everything. All my daughters are currently working in movies and commercials. Three of my daughters have taken acting, modeling, and vocal classes. The Debbies are the nicest people and so is the vocal instructors Jim.Jim, the vocal instructor, is the best vocal instructor ever . He knows how to bring the best out of evey student. So glad we chose the Maile school. Thanks guys .

My 8 yr. daughter has been a student of The Maile School of Winter Park for 2yrs. She has advanced in her confidence and stage presence. Also, she has learned so much about the business as a whole.I feel its because of the personal relationships of all the Maile Professors build with their students and parents :).Its a school that you think you are signing your child up to learn but its for us too. We are extremely pleased with the Maile School! We started our daughter in the Kids Acting program initially to gain confidence. She enjoyed the class so much, we enrolled her into the Advanced Monologue and Scene Study. Again, she did great and really loved the class and wanted to continue going after the program was complete. The great part is, the Maile School offers on-going classes! The Maile School also offers a variety of Summer Camps. Our daughter attended The Mall at Millenia Fashion Camp and modeled in the Back to School Fashion Show! It was a wonderful experience that she will remember forever. She also attended a 1 Day Workshop with Michael Campion Jackson from Fuller House and said it was the best day of her life! She is currently working with Jim Braswell on her Vocal Performance and is very excited before and after each lesson. All of the instructors are incredibly talented and make the classes fun and interesting! Its been an amazing experience thus far at the Maile School. Our daughter has grown significantly and has even recently booked her first job! I am looking forward to starting my son in the Kids Acting when he is of age. I even signed myself up for the John Peros workshop! I want to thank Debby, Debbie and all the staff for all of their help and encouragement along the way. I would highly recommend the Maile School to any child, teen or adult interested in gaining confidence or learning more about the industry. The opportunities are endless at the Maile School!

Lisa Maile Acting School is the BEST! I did the kids modeling + acting, teens acting on camera, and the self confidence class. When I first started the teen acting on camera class, i was nervous and had low self-esteem about myself. But my instructor Mr.Armstrong, helped me overcome my fear! He pushed me past my limits, when I felt like I couldnt do it. I now have the best self - esteem Ive ever had! Mrs. Leeza was my self confidence coach and she is the best! I thank God for Debby Tapia and Debbie Wisner! The sweetest people in the world. I would HIGHLY recommend coming to Lisa Maile Acting school! They are a big part of who I am today!

My daughter just graduated from the summer modeling program at the Millenia Mall, and she loved it. She takes musical theater at school, but lacked the confidence to audition for any of the plays. Since her graduation a week ago, she is full of confidence, and ready to start musical theater again this school year. I want to thank both Mrs. Tapia and Mrs. Wisner, and all the wonderful staff at Lisa Maile, for giving Belle, the confidence she needs to achieve her dreams and goals. Awesome school!!

The adult acting class at The Maile School was amazing and gave me the tools to book an agency and several roles!

As an adult i wanted to get into acting so an agent referred me to The Maile School, its been a grrat experience & everone was so nice, friendly & professional, i shopped around & they were the best! They helped me with my headshots & resume & got me an agent! i give yall 5 stars-

I took two classes here, Teen Acting and Monologue and Scene Study. Teen Acting was great. The teacher was terrific! I learned a lot from him. Monologue and scene study was a little disorganized different teachers were showing up every week. At the end of the 8 weeks of being there they were scrambling around trying to find the CDs for our monologues. The Maile School offers seminars, workshops, and headshots. They have great classes! Would recommend this school to anyone. This is a good place to start.

Truthfully would NEVER bring my child here. I walked in to get a broucher and talk about their classes and the woman in the front flat out said these classes arent free, so youll have to pay for them as If I were some bum off the street expecting a freebie! I was so offended, no one asked for a hand out ugh!

Great facility and very pleasant staff! Will return again as well refer friends and family

Only half way through the 12 week session and it has already exceeded my expectations. The instructors and staff are all working professionals and they bring so much to the table. I have done a lot of research and I am glad I chose the Maile school. The Lifetime membership sealed the deal....you owe yourself this gift ;)
