What can I say about the staff there, from the first phone call with Becca, putting us at ease and getting us signed up all the way to getting to their satellite office in a cute little barn off. Then the real treat was Mark as one reviewer said he is a sexy Rambo. He trains the trainer and can train humans and dogs. His knowledge of all things guns, dogs and legal are top notch. I’ve been a prosecutor for ten years and walked away learning a few things.

Since I left Afghanistan two years ago I have tried to get answers and insight into how I could pursue my passion of training others on firearms and tactics to no avail. The majority of other trainers justifiably are worried about helping their competition but this was not even close to the case with Mark at GNA. Finally ready to get my business going after a long road. If you are looking for more than your moneys worth training, I highly recommend Mark and his staff at GNA.

There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate GNA! Becca and Mark are fantastic to work with, they care so much about their clients and the dogs, and they go above and beyond at every turn.We have had two dogs with them, one for training and one for long-term boarding, and they have made huge strides with both of them! It is clear to us that they will do anything for the dogs, plus they are huge supporters and proponents of rescue groups! We will use them any time we have a need, they are fantastic!

I had a great experience with the concealed carry class with Mark. It is a straight forward class that is extremely informative with the laws that concern the permit. My pitbull went to board and train with Becca in 2017. He had a LOT of behavioral issues. He loved chasing people and grabbing their elbows. He didnt listen and was beyond any structure I could give him at the time. Turnover takes as long as I needed to get comfortable enough to go home and be successful. Its 2 years later and I get lax at times but as long as I communicate the correct commands his responses are still perfect. Becca may be little but shes a lion as a trainer!!!

I took this class about a year ago and had my cousin who is a gay male take it last week. When I took it I was blown away by several things. First how knowledgeable the instructor was and second how understanding and caring his wife was towards the LGBT community. This is far one of the most friendly Self Defense places towards the LBGT community and the instructors with with her cute caramel self was a big help answering all my questions and not judging me!

Just retired from the Military after 26 years and did not need to take the class. I am so glad I did, there are so many laws that I did not know about and I also got a great package deal that came with insurance. Awesome job teaching and using real world situations in the training.

There are gun instructors. There are Knife instructors and dog protection dog trainers. Mark does it all and will explain to you exactly what and how he is doing it. My wife and I did the training with him together and we both have different learning styles he was able to adapt to both, outstanding work!

Absolutely adore Becca! She did a phenomenonal job rehabbing my impulsive shelter adoptee who required intensive behavior modification!! I dont care if she relocates outside of the U.S. I will still insist on sending my dogs to her. She will be training any and ALL future dogs for me... Regardless where she lives! Swear by her talents... She makes Miracles, you just need to do the follow up and be consistent!!!

My grandson and I were at local gun range. My grandson 12yr old is big firearm enthusiast. Well I took him shooting as we do every Sunday and he saw Mark Villafane training others. My grandson noticed him as one of the speakers of the Big Pro Gun Rally, which we attended and heard all the speakers speak. Well my grandson approached Mark and asked him for an autograph and Mark obliged with signing his target. Mark invited my grandson and me out to shoot, which meant the world to me because my grandson lost his dad a few years ago. After seeing this man shoot, train others and talk to my grandson he is the McCoy!

Becca help us with training our Giant Schnauzer as a puppy and we couldn’t be more happy with the experience! He’s 10 months now and listens to come, sit, down and place commands without hesitation, ... he’s also a dream to go on walks and run with. He isn’t fazed at all by crowds, other dogs and or cars. I couldn’t recommend her training services any more highly!

I had a horrible experience with the dog trainer Becca Hammond. She lied to me and hurt my dog but luckily it wasnt worse. Dont make the same mistake I did, research her before wasting your money.

I initially contacted Mark a few weeks ago about turning my Belgian Shepherd into a guard dog. Mark turned me down. His quote to me was I cant pull out what genetics didnt give him. I then went to another trainer in Sanford who quoted me in two weeks he would have my dog as a man stopper in two weeks. I got my dog back and was completely scared and very hesitant to have me pet him. I called Mark a few minutes ago and Mark said he would help me fix him at no charge. I let him know I wouldnt be keeping the dog, but the next puppy I get I would let him do all the training. He offered to help me find a puppy. Hes got my business.

I took the CCW class a while back with Brian a while back, a former military guy and knowledgable instructor. He told us great stories that related to the topic as well as one about him falling off a hooverboard, which after that story will not go on one. curing the class I upgraded to the VIP package and it included an attorney if needed. well unfortunately a few nights ago I had to pull out my firearm and use it. I had an attorney by my side and saved my family from being hurt. Until I went to his class I always carried my firearm without one in the chamber after his class he stressed to me about not doing that. I am glad that night I didnt I owe my life to Brian, many thanks!

As my wife says GNA Training Academy is the one stop shop for training and Mark is the Swiss Army Knife of Self Defense and Training. We started off taking the Florida CCW class and end up, taking a knife and pepper-spray class. A few months later my wife adopted a rescued Belgian Shepherd. We nicknamed him Cujo because on the first day in our house we could not get him out of the crate. We called Mark over and he took the dog out like he was Cesar the dog whisper. Fast forward a year later Cujo is a full fledge part of out family. WE are sending our daughters there next week for training.

GNA Trainings’s concealed carry class was a great, informative and enjoyable class. The instructor, Mark, used many real life scenarios that related specifically to the group and answered all of our questions thoroughly making sure we understood. He went over the legailities of concealed carry and was very patient even though it was a late night class. I took the the concealed weapons class with Mr Andy this Sunday an was so honored to have an instructor who was so passionate about their job but also just as passionate about us learning all of the things we needed to know about carrying a concealed weapon. He not only was patience with any answers but made sure he was detailed about the information he gave us and also used himself as an example and the impact of having to use your weapon and the change of using one afterwards. If their was anyone else who I could have choosen I would still choose Mr Andy. I have referred the class to so many other people, posted the information on my Facebook and have serveral of my children an family members who are taking the class on Thursday night thats how confident I am in them.
