Nestled in what was once known as Cypress gardens Legoland has transformed the old botanical wonderland into another theme park. At first I though what a pity that Cypress Gardens is only but a distant memory but at least they kept some parts of the old Cypress gardens alive for future generations to enjoy.Legoland is a place for not only kids but adults too. When entering the gates you go through what is a retail center that sells what else but Lego products. Even though it is geared for kids I enjoyed the massive outdoor display they have. I could go on writing everything I saw but Id rather show you in photos instead, enjoy!

Wow...another fantastic visit to Legoland Florida. Stayed in the new Pirate themed hotel. Purchased the all inclusive package, which included all meals, digital photos, awesome masks and other perks. Weather was perfect!! Learned lots of local facts on the Sunset Lake Tour with Captain Clark...saw 3 alligators!! Breakfast and Dinner at the Shipwreck Restaurant...incredible. Thanks again for a great adventure Emmitt...well be back.

Awesome place to take the kids. I was really impressed with their commitment to keeping the park sanitary. They would spray and wipe down seats between rides, but did so without holding the line up. The Legoland resort was wonderful too. Will definitely be going back again.

Legoland resort was a blast. The staff is friendly and courteous. We had a great experience. Low numbers due to coronavirus. But, they sanitize and alternated seats frequently, taking every precaution possible to keep it a safe and fun experience. Good times! They have some killer Christmas shows coming up. Also, in February the Lego pirate Adventure weekends begin!

Family had a great time. Prices are reasonable, for a theme park. Lines were not too long. Only suggestion would be a tram or boat to get to the water park. Its a long walk through the amusement park to get there... And even longer coming back in wet clothes.

Great park. Its definitely designed specifically for children, but I had a great time exploring it myself. Dont expect super intense thrill rides... But the theming of each ride and attraction is great, the rides are unique, the Model Citizens (the staff) are usually fantastic, the food is good, and the selection of LEGO sets and LEGO themed merchandise that you can buy is overwhelmingly immense.Dont forget to walk through the botanical gardens left from when the park was Cypress Gardens; the Banyan tree is a sight to behold, the chapel has a really unique history behind its construction, and the water features are all very beautiful as well.

Wonderful place to visit with family. Happy and helpful staff. Three families with kids ranging in age from 2 through 12. We found fun activities for each age group. The park had a good variety of starter rollercoasters. Breakfast service was quick, yummy and filling. We took one of the master classes and we were able to keep the Legos. Fun family vacation. The tree at Legoland inside Cypress Garden was worth the walk. Its impressive. Hope you enjoy your visit too!

Honestly this place is the best! Everything from the hotel breakfast to the pirate bedtime stories was fantastic. Breakfast is served to your table on a massive all you can eat skillet and you come down to eat by reservation so theres never too many people around (not having to get up to go get food is an introvert and parents dream). The rooms are immaculate and come with cute little activities like a scavenger hunt to open a safe and social distancing and mask wearing is enforced throughout the hotel; they take your temperature on entry. The attention to detail and dedication to making your stay safe and fun is amazing. The park itself is full of fun activities, food, and rides and hand sanitizing stations. Masks are enforced everywhere except for in outdoor areas where you can eat and they have online queues so you dont have to stand in a crowd. The park and hotel has a max capacity for certain areas so theres never an unsafe amount of people around. They have after hours activities at the hotel too like smore making at the fire pit and an awesome performance put on by a very enthusiastic pirate for the kids bedtime story. As someone whos been in quarantine since day one, Ive never felt safer going out than when we went here. This place definately deserves more recognition for all the effort theyve put in. We stayed at the new Pirate Hotel and really enjoyed the all inclusive aspect. 2 days at the park (Thursday and Friday) and didnt have any lines or congestion. The family style meals were AMAZING!!! The brisket, sausage and ribs at dinner were legit barbecue. Breakfast was a hit for our kids! Waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, and the creamiest chocolate milk! Very generous in the portions! We never finished! Great hospitality and service from all employees!!! Would recommend!

As a local Ive repeatedly heard people say this park is just for kids. But I have to say I was more than impressed my the parks size and number of attractions and activities to do. I will definitely be going back.

We have made this an annual trip for our family. We made our second trip this year. Both trips we have stayed in the LEGOLand hotel & resort at the park and have loved it. Our boys ages 2 & 5 love it there. The pools were great, rooms have been great, service has been great, there are plenty of activities for the kids and always a very kid friendly atmosphere. The COVID restrictions were not as cumbersome as some of the other theme parks in Florida. We will definitely be back for another trip next year. Thanks for the great trip, LEGOLand!

Our family had so much fun at both the theme park and our stay at the Pirate Island Hotel! Everything is so thematic! Our kids are right and four years old, so this was such an incredible experience for them! My wife and I really enjoyed every aspect as well!

One of the best theme parks I have ever been too! Even going here as an adult is still really thrilling and fun The prices on the food are amazing and the attractions are really well made! The pricing for everything is really fair and good. I would really recommend going here the staff are so friendly and always ready to help! I had a awesome time looking forward to come back.

This place is just beyond amazing. Hotel is completely awesome, staff is incredibly nice, and friendly. The always smile and theyre happy. Nothing better than that feeling of being helped by people that enjoys helping you. The park is so good for tots... You got to visit this place.

Is super clean, COVID19 safety guidelines, Breakfast is awesome, great services, my kids loved it. The only thing i can say is that the best theme rooms are the new pirate island (they have USB ports,Alexa, a room for kids and a table with legos), we changed the room from kingdom theme because you can tell its old. The rooms didnt had usb ports, table for kids to play with legos, the carpets looke super old and also the sheets/linens). They do need to remodel them and have bright colors for kids to enjoy. But overall i think theres no other hotel like this one!!! Best of the best amd customer service is excellent.

Have no review of the water park. The park was clean all employees seem to be sanitizing. Everyone was friendly. It is not worth the cost. Very few rides. We had no wait because it was thanksgiving. It just was not worth the money didn’t offer much at all.

Love Legoland theme park itself! Great rides to keep kids up to about 11 entertained! However, the waterpark leaves a little to be desired for older children. The admission is a bit much and the water attractions are very few (5 if I counted correctly!) If your kids are seasoned waterpark attendees check it carefully! Great for little ones though, for sure!

I have been to legoland in the past. The glaring difference between previous visits and todays’s was the lack of customer service. I know that things are difficult due to covid but Guest services did not know which restaurants were open and we were told to call or download the app. The ride attendants grunted out responses and when trying to get your attention they just shouted “hey!l at you multiple times. Legoland is still a fun experience for your children.The hotel had the best food for lunch (where we found our lunch). The hotel stay was the cutest and the kids loved it. But again the customer service and information was lacking. We were never told we needed a reservation for the free breakfast. We were then told we could get a “to go” breakfast but no one was quite sure what into it. The continental breakfast seemed to be a secret because you had to know it existed and then ask the worker at the reservation desk for it. Again, not sure which cereal was in it. I would recommend the hotel is the cost was less than $200 a night. I think Legoland hotel and park need customer service orientation and possibly more workers.

Great at for younger children. Park was clean and not that crowded. Only downside was the inefficiency of their ride loading processes and the food service. Staff was very nice.

Legoland was such a great time! We stayed at the resort, my kids loved every single minute and every person working was incredibly nice! I highly highly recommend for anyone who has kids under 11/12.My only reason for 4 stars...the pool didnt open until 11am! At a kids resort. That just baffled me to be honest. 9am or so would have been much more reasonable. But the kids did love the pool when it opened!

Fun park for the kids but it could use some upgrades. Although I like the idea of the virtual lines, it was more of a pain then it was helpful. You can only sign up for 1 virtual line at a time so you end waiting around. Most of the good rides you had to sign up virtually so it seemed like a lot of wasted time. This definitely needs to be improved it they plan to keep it around.

This place was amazing from the moment we arrived to departure. Every single employee we came in contact with was pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. The pool was a hit for my 5-year old. The restaurants offer a good variety of foods and drinks (with a full bar). The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms both in the park and on the resort were top-notch clean and tidy! We will certainly be back!

The staff throughout the park was amazing. Exceptionally clean and sanitized. Disappointed that half of the food options were closed but overall a wonderful experience at the Legoland park, hotel and water park. The food was so delicious everywhere we ate. I was surprised and it was much better price for food than SeaWorld. We decided to upgrade to annual passes. My son is over the moon.

Social distancing on rides, but less so on lines. Theres electronic queue for some of the rides so you have to download the app and can only be on one queue at a time which we didnt like. More people walking around without masks inside the park. Last few times we went were better than today.

Fantastic focus on family enjoyment. I highly recommend a visit. This is our second time since/during c19, wonderful bold organization moving us forward back to normalcy. Best investment I made was annual no block out passes for our family. The staff is lovely versus Disney and Universal hawklike /police state mentality.

Great place for kids ages 2-12. The staff was friendly and helpful. The new pirate hotel was worth the extra money just seeing how fresh and new it was. Just seeing all the detail that went into the park/ hotel made the entire experience something that will be remembered and we will go again!

Nice time with the family. Cool setup, but for the money, NOT WORTH IT. Half of the attractions were closed. We were there from 1 to 4:30 and saw and did all we Wanted but so few people there was nice. No lines.Maybe they should offer a half day fare. Or at least open everything. I feel robbed. But wont let how I feel affect the families good time.

We always have a good time at Legoland, we have the annual pass and that allowed us to spent our time relax, walking, today my children had fun and candies from trick or treat event, is a very relaxing park. I have a 4 and 12 years old kids and they enjoy both as well.

Terrible customer service. Waited in line over an hour to get tickets. 30 minutes of it was due to another family having some sort of an issue. The management refused to open another window during that time to keep the line moving. Instead we were told oh, an hour isnt that bad. Spend the extra money and get better service at Disney or Universal.

Still here as write this review. I might write again, depending on how fun water park is.To use the hotels wifi you have to give them permission to all of your device. No privacy!...A few days later.This place blew my mind. I had given it 2 stars the day I arrived. But I came back to give it all 5. The staff and the parks are so helpful. The staff at the restaurants located inside the hotel are amazing. My boys loved it ages 12, 9 and 6.The wifi issue is because my kids took their laptops to do virtual school from the hotel. I just connected them to the hot spot on my phone.Tip: book your reservation 60 days in advance for a really good price.

Did not see indication of any cleaning let along sanitizing. Did not feel comfortable with their actions to prevent the spread of covid.

We love lego land. We have 3 small kids under the age of 5. Our last trip was last weekend and while playing in the imagination building we had lots of help from Willow and Clifford. Great alternative to the Orlando parks! The rides were great and there was so much to do! I wish the park was open for longer hours but its definitely worth it. The botanical gardens are a great place to walk through and relax. The pirate show was awesome with waterskiiers doing stunts! You can bring your own food and drinks into the park but there are tons of places for that. We will definitely be back!!

We loved the water park, and theme park was great too. All the rides were perfect for me and my family with kids age 2 and 6. Amazing time!

The new water park is nice, but there is no shuttle. What i mean is that you have to buy a legoland park ticket and walk all the way through the theme park to get to the water park... Then buy a water park ticket. Also the photos were supposed to be availiable online for up to 30 days, but the website doesnt recognize my qr code. So i should have just bought the coaster photo in the gift shop before i left.

As a former MC of Legoland California the hospitality is so much better in Florida.

This is a fun place to go with your children and more so with fast passes to skip the line. The wait for some rides can be almost an hour. The rides are very fun and theres a lot to look at. The food can be on the pricier side but there are lots of snack options. Its very clean and pretty.

We loved this park!! The rides were fun. The lines and wait times for all the rides were manageable. Our favorite rides were the Coatersaurus and Flying School. The park is clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The girls had so much fun and enjoyed their birthday celebration at this park.

As adults we enjoyed seeing the smiles on our little girls faces. So many rides and attractions. Great for all ages! Even though it’s geared for kids, adults can ride with the child on many of the rides. Shows were awesome too.

Aloha! LEGOLAND Florida is one beautiful and family fun place. I believe it’s worth being an annual member. You get discounts every where. Staff friendly and helpful. It’s really a tropical weather vibe out here. It gets really hot and sunny so make sure to wear sun screen. Bring hats and soap as well. The water park is awesome as well. Bring your own towels because they don’t have any.

So many attractions and rides! There are only a few shops open because of COVID but the Big Store is open and you can find just about everything there. The Pirate Hotel is really cool and the staff has been great to work with.

Hotel rooms are great for kids. Fun, colorful and full of surprises. But we were a bit disappointed with breakfast at Briks restaurant. Since they dont have a buffet anymore, the breakfast tray is very weak and low quality which is odd, because their dinner menu at Shipreck and Skyline is gourmet.Also, their Covid-19 safety measures is not as strict as they advertise.

Is a nice park although it definitely caters more to the younger members of the family. With current low attendance and social distancing we were easily able to do everything there in less than a day. I would guess under normal circumstances you wouldnt need more than two days.Our main disappointment was that only the main gift shop was open, all others were closed all day. I was surprised at the overall lack of different products in the shop, I felt like the Disney Springs store had more variety of sets available.

I got to Legoland they had a sign no rain checks due to in climate weather. that would be fine but the electric went out four times so basically it cost us $400 to go on three rides. Not a pleasant experience. There were no shows and most of the food places were closed.

Absolutely awesome experience with an absolute awesome staff to be able to enjoy a beautiful week and not have to worry about anything. I would recommend the hotel in the park and we will definitely be back very soon! The room was perfect and was set up to deal with a small child at all times and the activities that are set up by the Legoland hotel keeps the magical moments coming as yours stay goes into each night. I would strongly recommend signing up for the master builders classes that are offered at the hotel there a very informative plus you get to keep the little activity.

Our first time there, and we had a wonderful time with our kids and grandkids. Many great rides for all ages, from tame to intense. Throughout the Park there are large characters and animals built of Lego pieces, and the Lego city scapes are amazing. This is a very colorful, entertaining and family friendly park.

Its Covid 19 time so park is empty.. there are no lines.. if you are inside a store or on a ride masks are mandatory.. but if you are walking around with family, its relaxed... We are visiting from Cali, and we hit our Carlsbad Legoland religiously for the past 3 years... Just like Legoland California, this is the place to be for kids under 10..Unfortunately a lot of the stores are closed, but the volume of people would not justify the lack of business.... Most of the rides ARE OPEN, and as I said ... NO LINES.. this is the time to come and support the SECOND happiest place on earth..

It was great 5min wait on every Ride for the first time we love legoland

My son and I went here for his birthday weekend, July of 2019. We had such a blast! Thank goodness it was so hot, most of the rides had very little wait. Overall we had such a great time. Loved the water parks few slides they had. Definitely need to build yo that water park a bit more. I would also really like to see some more rides in the park though, and possibly some interactive LEGO scenarios for the kids. :)

Having now visited both Legoland California and Florida, I have to say that they are both very nice and worth the visit, as young children will love every minute they spend here. The rides range from very young child to young teenager, which is nice because families with kids whose ages differ by quite a bit can still have a good time. Legoland California wins out as far as weather is concerned, as Orlando/Winter Haven frequently experiences storms and the humidity is usually very high.My most favourite part was the Miniland USA, with a phenomenal display of buildings and cities from all over the States out of Legos, but there are structures and figures all throughout the park.It’s a bit cheaper to visit than Disney and Universal, but it is highly unlikely that you will spent more than two days here, and most things can be done in one day if the lines are not long as they were not when I visited. Fun park, would highly recommend if you are in the Orlando area.

Check this place out with your kiddos! We loved it so much and had such a fantastic time with our 4 year old. I think that there is definitely an age limit for this park but it is all dependent upon your childs likes. For us, 3-8 will probably be the age group that we will visit. At 4, our son was able to ride some of the rides but not most of the coasters. However, there is plenty to do outside of that. The boat ride was probably our favorite. The wait lines were reasonable and even as an adult, we had fun on the rides. The Lego city was by far the coolest. It was so awesome to take in the detail they put into each one. Very impressed and we say it is worth the cost of admission and parking. Make a day of it though. We thought we could spend a few hours but ended up spending the entire day from open to close in February.

My only real complaint is the pool is small and it makes no sense to enforce social distancing and then close one of the two pools down causing us to be packed in a small pool. Everything else is really cool and the kids love it.Staff has been very upbeat and helpful as well.

Had a wonderful first experience at Legoland with my family today. Even though it rained, we still got to see all of the park, and ride some rides and catch a show. Staff were friendly, bathrooms were the cleanest Ive ever seen in a theme park. Food prices were a bit high(theme parks always are) but you got a great amount of food and it was quite good! My son had a blast on everything he went on. There were rides and attractions from mellow to thrill seeking, so every kid can enjoy! And the old historic Cypress botanical gardens was still there too! I really have to be honest about the price and the parking- too much! We got our tickets while they were half price, and that did soften the blow.

This place is awesome for kids and parents alike! The prices in the park are better than most mainstream amusements places, the staff were all super cool and easy to talk to. The ride were fun and catered to all age groups, plus the shows were enjoyable.The food in the Lego Hotel was good as well. The breakfast buffet spread is top-notch, plus made to order omelettes are included with the complimentary breakfast (which is already awesome). Be sure to arrive early because it fills up quickly and the lines will run long the longer you wait. As for the hotel, the kids all received complimentary small Lego sets...every day! Wed come back and theyd be on the beds after each cleaning ( part of the stay). Theres also an in-room mystery to solve for hidden treasure which the kids LOVED. Cant spoil it though. Im usually pretty cynical about amusement parks but Lego nailed it top to bottom and made it easy and fun for kids and thankfully parents. Theres also a full bar in the hotel lobby, pool, mini golf course, and fire put for Smores making, all on-site!

Awesome getaway! The Pirate Island Hotel was super fun. Brand new with so many amazing details. It was well worth the upgrade. Our 6-year old loved it, and though our 2-year old was a little young she had a great time, too.

Legoland is a childrens theme park. Probably best for those under 15 years old and their families. Some rides are best for older kids some are for younger children. Covid-19 has really prevented the park from running at its fullest potential. The Pirate hotel is an experience that everyone should take.Kids will enjoy this park no doubt about it.

I wish I could describe how fun this place is. If your kid loves Legos this will blow your mind. You get to play with legos while waiting in lines for all the rides so it doesnt feel like you wait much at all. Amazing experience for kids 4-12. There are a surprising number of big kid and grown up rides too! The breakfast buffet is incredible, and you can eat all you want. The chef made special dairy free pancakes for my kid which was SO NICE of her. Music on the elevator at the hotel. Very fun experience.

I LOVE LEGOLAND.So when the amusement park first opened my parents took my brothers and not me. I was so upset.Fast forward 8 years and while visiting family we went and MAN WAS IT MAGICAL.They are very good with keeping the park clean and socially distanced.My fiance and I ended up leaving with two Lego sets.

Legoland was a highlight of our Florida vacation! It is so family friendly, even for our stroller kids. The attractions are entertaining and engaging for kids of all ages. The grandparents even enjoyed their time here. Thoroughly enjoyed, and highly recommend!

Loved our first time here

Still has that great feeling from 8 years ago. I took the mother of my childs children there back when they were Little Tikes and now 8 years later Im able to take my 6-year old whose birthday we were celebrating. We all had a blast. It was a fun time for him Im more than likely to be back.

DO NOT get a room with any so called extras. Every room is exactly the same except for decoration or paint schemes. My advice if you do stay get the cheapest room theyre all the same. My room cost me 480 and my cousins cost 280 they were the exact same. A little extra advice, Id wait until this foolish health restrictions are over with (probably after elections) because over half of the park is closed inside. Only a few rides, shows and attractions are open.

Fun Trick or Treating with my grandchildren. Clean. Friendly staff. Lego sculptures throughout the park were amazing. Lots of rides for young kids.

Cute place. We went during the week and there was a lot of things closed but my kids still had a great time.

Vist was during COVID-19, We felt extremely safe. Policies and procedures were emplemented to enforce safety. We took our God Son and he was excited about the visit. The crowd was low so the lines were practically none existence. They rode some rides twice, which provided extra value for the money. Awesome Day with family during such turbulent times. Thank you Legoland for opening your door with safety procedures that allowed this day to happen.

Great experience!! First time in Legoland and the family loved it. If you are a Lego fan you will enjoy it a lot, but even if you are not you will have a great time. Themes rooms, amazing service and staff. Everything made for children. The small view on the room for them, the treasure hunt in your room,.the play area in the lobby. Great stores, good food and amazing Lego sculptures across the park. Great rides for different ages, playgrounds inside the lines for the rides and many details to make your visit a great memory. Will come back for sure.

If you are looking for a theme park experience without the theme park price or lines, LEGOLAND is your place. It is very kid friendly even for the younger ones. The on-site hotel was amazing. The play area was very well managed. We did not worry about our boys at all! We will be back from a second trip this year!

Loved every bit of this vacation. The LEGO Bungalow’s are nearby, I would recommend staying there it is much cheaper and you still get to use the hotels swimming pool and other select things. We went for Brick or Treat festival in October, the lines were not long at all. There is a water park and theme park, multiple area to eat. We purchased an all you can eat plan from one restaurant and it was not expensive. There are lockers and store to buy swim ware. My toddler was eager to do every thing and my teenager just loved every bit even the fire works at the end.

We had a really great time!!! Stayed at the Legoland Beach Resort which was excellent and much less expensive than the hotel. Up to five in a room. Fantastic full buffet breakfast included. Buy park tickets separately for better deal. Season passport was less expensive than two days at both amusement park and water park and had perks like free parking and 10 % off purchases. Best for us staying three days. Park is geared for kids 6 - 12 but absolutely every age will enjoy!! Best roller coaster ever is the virtual reality Legoland car race!!! Loved the water park too !

The staff and management are extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a few issues with some of the details of reservation, but the staff were quick to resolve the issue. We are very satisfied with our stay and cant wait to book our next vacation here.

We went during COVID19 and it was allot of fun as it was almost empty. Fun for ages up to 16. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The biggest issue with the park is there could have been better entertainment while waiting in line. The park isnt hug which makes it easy to get around. We all had allot of fun.

So much fun!!!! For children and adults, we went last week and it was the best time ever. The season was perfect because there was no more than 5 min wait time for rides, two days in a row. Everyone is friendly and there are refreshing fans and drink stops everywhere. Stroller rental reasonable. I highly recommend going!

This was our first time at Legoland and my kids had a great time. 12 yrs old and 3yrs old and there were plenty of rides to keep both of them entertained. There were plenty of shows, my 3yr old loved the pirates show. A great mixture of rides between the younger and older crowds. There is also some beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back.

The best theme park open atm. No mask required and they are more friendly than any Orlando park!! We bought the Awesomest season pass because of it. We have been going every weekend since it opened.

Such a great place to take the smaller kids, we had a blast on the rides and seeing all of the different Lego creations throughout the park. We were interrupted by rain showers so ma y of the tides were closed due to lightning. The kids still had fun regardless and it was so worth the money!
