This is such a nice theater. At times it was a little hard to hear but I think thats because of they type of microphone that was chose to be used the night I went. I would definitely go see another show at this theater.Thanks Ritz theater for your support with the Red Tent Initiative!

There has been very nice restoration done here. Its a small venue but very nice. There are a lot of stairs to navigate but afterward I learned there is a way around them.

Another great theater in Winter Haven. Tables or theater seats. Snacks and drinks and the Motown show was great. Free parking garage right next door. Loved it.

Went to see the alter eagles tonight, awesome show and a great theater for shows. Very clean and good prices for snacks and drinks. Will definitely be back to see more shows.

I love the location and setup of the Ritz. The beautiful inside decor is modern with a touch of art deco design. The seating is perfect for an intimate setting. Its not too big where you feel like just another patron and not too small where you feel like you are on stage with the performers. However; the accessibility allowed for great interaction between the performers and the audience. I had the privilege of enjoying the The Tallahassee nights present The best of Motown. You dont even have to get back in your car (parking garage close by) because it was steps away from different dining selections.

Tonight’s show was called the James Taylor Experience and not only the venue but the talent was amazing. Thought we were watching and listening to JT himself. Best small venue ever!

What a FABULOUS venue for the Monsters of Comedy show. From the staff that was very helpful answering questions to the cleanliness of the refurbished theater we had a blast. Prior to going we went to the Fire Grill Restaurant for dinner. What an awesome combination. Although the show didnt start till 8 the line started forming at 7 as it was general admission seating. We purchased our tickets on line which made it very easy. There was a $2 service fee per ticket. Turns out you pay that fee weather you purchase on line or in person. We thought the price was VERY fair. The seats were comfortable and we especially liked they came with a table for those arriving early. YOU ARE GONNA LOVE THIS PLACE. Wish we were going to be in town for the May 11 comedian show.

Saw Menopause the Musical with friends and enjoyed ourselves with laughter and music from the 60s. With a wonderful cast, who out did themselves.

Attend dueling pianos on 12/18. Very disappointed. This show had been billed as “Christmas”. It was not, it was the same show we saw 2 months ago. It was ok then, definitely something I did not want to hear again. I was looking forward to hearing Christmas music when I bought the ticket. Not happy

Just saw the monsters of Comedy 104.1, very nice venue clean and remodeled, snack food and drinks reasonably priced. Pretty great shows and our little hometown. Come out and support the oldest theater in Winter Haven

Nice revival of an older theater. Handy parking behind in enclose! garage. Theater temperature was uncomfortably cold though; effected our enjoyment of the show. Will have to find warmer clothes before attending the next performance. Happy to have another theater venue in Winter Haven

Great location and prices for shows. I just wished they offered waitresses/servers during all shows. Otherwise, wonderful space.

I really hope this review is taken as constructive criticism as I detest coming off as such an ogre. The structure of the Ritz itself is very classy and very beautiful. Almost stunning if you appreciate historic buildings as I do. The lobby is beautifully decorated and it was very clean.That being said, the seating arrangement is horrible. It had a lot of tacky plastic chairs usually used for outdoor summer parties. I get that you want to profit but you just cant cram so many chairs on such a small area. The messani was completely empty until much later in the night when maybe 10 people were allowed to enter so there was no need for the uncomfortable seating. The chairs were also on leveled ground which wouldnt enable spectators to view the stage without obstruction.We went to a magic show last Saturday (08/12/17) which was nice but the seating of the guests was bizarre and uncoordinated. They had a popcorn machine INSIDE the theater AND they burned a batch. The smell was overpowering and unforgivable. Also, a member of the staff made a promotional speech during intermission that was not rehearsed and came off unprofessional. A recorded message would have been more suitable.Lastly, theres no handicap access.It really is a shame because the venue has a lot of potential and Im sure that a few tweaks will improve their presence greatly.

We saw a magic show and it was great and the venue looks great.

My band played here back in the late 80s. Such a perfect place for a show and still in great condition today. Hope they reopen this place soon as I would love to see a movie or a show here. Spoke to someone from Theater Winter Haven who said they had plans to do so in the future. Cant wait to attend.

Dualing Pianos..excellent fun time.

It was fantastic, best theater ive ever been too :)

Very disappointed in this theater. Friends took us to see Dualing Pianos Show. Seating was in plastic chairs and very uncomfortable, stage and Pianos were in deplorable condition. There was a problem with the sound system and you could not understand anything the lead player was saying (or singing) whenever he sat at his piano. From where we were sitting, we could see that the keyboard on the Pianos had been switched out for an electronic keyboard. I would never recommend this theater as a venue for entertainment in the future.

Beautiful place. I had a blast seeing The Light of Led Zeppelin.

It is lovely, but the sound system was not good.

Great place to throw a classy event

Wow...it is amazing looking. We had a great time at the comedy Monsters show. Very reasonable concessions. I was happy to be a part of the kick-off. Clean. Bathrooms clean. Rate 10/10. Would recommend to everyone. Just a tiny complaint, needs some sound absobtion. Very noisy, by would not keep me from going back. I hate to have that in my review, bc I really enjoyed my self.

CLOSED HOW SAD THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE!Theater has just been renovated. Shows are quite good. Cant beat the price, and so far very, very enjoyable. Try the venue, its better than spending money on a movie. Nice to have talents perform that you dont have to be jammed in.

Very unimpressed with New years cabaret. Was a one man Broadway show, not at all what a cabaret is supposed to be. Will not be attending again.

Clean place. Comedy was outstanding.

This is such an amazing place in town. They host monthly murder mystery dinners that are such a blast. You get to interrogate the actors while they are in character, have a lovely sit down dinner, and just enjoy a piece of Winter Havens history in this landmark. Stop reading and get some tickets!

This is a renovated movie theater that now serves as a venue for meetings, receptions, parties, etc. The place is beautiful. I have no idea the cost to have an event, but it was superb for the wedding reception I attended there.

The Ritz theatre is one of Winter Havens original structure sitting right in the heart of it all in downtown. This place has so many possibilities for concerts, theatre, plays and so much more. If you havent gone to one their events take the time and go I promise youll enjoy it as much as I do.
