Beautiful area to walk your dog. Lots of wild life! I saw several birds I had never seen before. Great play area for kids. Take a picnic lunch and relax under one of the large trees! Just dont feed the gators!

We love to go here for the sunsets! Best view in all of Orlando. Highly recommend if youre looking for a cute area for a picnic or if you need something to do with your kids. Lake Apopka is also known for its gator population, so youll almost ALWAYS see a gator! Check out the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive if you want to see even more!!

Beautiful place to take the family! It is especially nice during clear skies and at sunset.

Its a nice park, we saw 10 baby alligators lots of birds had a nice bike ride and ate at Thia Blossom in Winter Garden.

This is just a beautiful place. Go early in day, even an overcast day is wonderful and nature will not disappoint. Keep your eyes on the water and it will not disappoint. Keep your ears open and you will hear all kinds of magical sounds. Bring a blanket and a snack if that suits you. Plenty of free parking.

They have upgraded the play ground equipment... You can watch some amazing sunsets on the lake.. it is a place for all ages...

First time here, much more than the photos I took. Seems like a great outdoor wedding spot, because one was about to go on. Didnt take photos out of respect. Nice out door place for family and picture taking. The lake is huge and peaceful. Overall interesting.

Great views of Lake Apopka. Plenty of room to have a picnic or a BBQ under the gazebo where there are tables and an outdoor grill...Has a long dock over Lake Apopka which today featured lots of birds, turtles, and two small alligators sunning themselves...

Love it over there, the park for the kids is great and the walk by the lake is nice. During covid we usually visit and watch the lake sitting in the car. There are plenty of times that no one is around and we take the opportunity to enjoy the view. Too bad that lake Apopka is polluted.

Its always beautiful there today I saw seven Gators anywhere from one foot to about four and a half feet you just have to look very close and not make too much noise and youll see them lots of turtles too and birds, lovely there

If you like beautiful sunsets, this park has some pretty nice views. The park is very clean and pretty much free of bird activity (geese and ducks that dirty up the grounds - like Lake Eola). Every now and then, you can catch a glimpse of smaller gators and lots of large frogs and turtles.As can be seen from plenty of pics, there is a pretty decent length pier that takes you far enough out into the lake to take pretty impressive pics of the marshlands and sunset.There is plenty of parking on the opposite end of the park, where the kids play area is. Parking closer to the pier has fewer parking spaces.All in all, a decent lakeside park, with great views.

One of the best drive away spots in Orlando.. It’s setup on the gigantic Apopka Lake with a splendid view all around.. Can see water all over the horizon making u wonder about it’s spread.. It’s quite, peaceful and scenic.. Best time to visit is around sunset but an afternoon trip with a group for a frisbee game in the park won’t be a bad idea..

Nice spacious park, playground just got an upgrade and the wildlife near the lake is amazing to see.

Nice. I saw a sign the city was going to be updating the playground. So it will be better when that is done.

I like it, its one of the oldest Orlando record stores still around to this day.

Great place for wildlife near Winter Garden. Was there with my friend Billie. We were biking on the West Orange Trail and took a side trip to Newton Park. Great location worth visiting any time. Make sure you take advantage of these great parks we have.

Nice little park on Lake Apopka. Other than the tall stairways in disrepair over 2 canals, its a really nice spot.

Great family park with tons of wildlife and a great large fishing pier! Full of bass and sunfish. You will also see ducks, birds,. turtles, and Gators! Has a nice playground and plenty of picnic tables and benches to rest and lots of room to run around. Also has a boat ramp and ample parking.

Nice place for a short walk by the lake. We seen turtles, alligators and lots of birds. I would bring insect repellent at dusk.

This is a great little park! Its right by Downtown Winter Garden. There are mutiple viewing bridges of the lake, as well as a pier and a boat entrance. There are grassy areas that would be great for a picnic and a covered Pavillion with tables. Theres also a sizable playground for the kids. They had a large sign that had the wildlife you can see and the history of the lake, which was pretty cool! The wildlife was really active. All this said, the park obviously needs some love. There was trash in the lake and around the park, and some of the signs were s scratched and faded that they were unreadable.

Beautiful Sunsets, an abundance of wildlife, clean public restrooms, a playground for the kiddies, many opportunities to take beautiful nature photos.

It is an amazing place it is a different world a Piece of heaven.

The park is small, but really pretty. There are docks so you can look at the water, benches along the water, a gazebo a boat launch and more. We didnt stay that long, but it a really nice break in our day. If youre in Winter Garden, Id recommend stopping by. But I wouldnt have driven to Winter Garden just to go there.

I proposed to my wife here perfect sunsets and very clean park. We love it. Especially the long dock!

Beautiful place to just go sit and think. If you look closely in the water youll see many baby gators, just dont get too close!! Use the zoom feature on your phone

I loved the braodwalk. Very scenic lakeside view and such a relaxing place. Has park area for kids and has event centre too. Tge place was so peaceful and people were reading books to sitting on the lakeside benches. And happening places of winter garden is very nearby too. Loved the calmness and peacefulness of the place.

Its a place u can sit in car & watch boats-- birds --- or watch boats launch into the water its nice place to walk around lots of parking place & yes it has restroom area and a place for the children to play too

Great park, it has a EV charging station. Its located on the south side of lake Apopka by Winter Garden. Nice play ground . There is a information board there that tells you the history of lake Apopka and its part in build winter garden. Would have given it a five but they need to fix the dock .

This is a beautiful place and quite romantic at the right times. Also when theirs a storm it can make for good photographs. Theirs lots of wildlife all around and be careful of the gators that sometimes come looking for food. Please do not feed them signs are posted. Theirs a boat ramp and a long pier for fishing.

Great places to relax and walk around

Turtles, alligators, unique birds all can be seen on a short walk from the parking lot over to the dock. There is a boat launch into Lake Apopka. Little simple playground thats mainly for toddlers. My 9 and 10 year old were not entertained. Beautiful view of the lake. Great place for a sunset stroll when the weather cools down.

Nice and quiet park

Peaceful and serene, overlooking Lake Apopka with adequate parking, a walking trail and a playground for the little ones. Unfortunately, I still dont feel like the lake is safe enough to go in to.

Went to to fish caught nothing out of 4 hours.
