DO NOT go through this company. Everything they say is a lie. Dont expect a refund for something because you’ll probably never get it. They cancel guests 1-2 before the convention but wont give you all your money back if you dont want to go. In Octobers convention they were suppose to have 7 stars and they cancelled some the day before and there ended up only be 4, which one wasnt even there the day he was suppose to be. Do not waste your money find a different company to go through!
BUYER BEWARE!!! If you are due a refund for any of their conventions you won’t see it. Very unorganized and they ignore any form of contact to receive refund. That is theft! I will be reporting to BBB!!!!
This company advertised a Greys Anatomy Convection. They canceled it and said that we would be given a refund in 14 days. Its been almost 2 months and still no refund. Also none of the owners will respond to emails or phone calls. There are lots of people who havent gotten refunds and are in the same boat as me.
This company deserves ZERO stars. I understand things happen and sometimes things get behind and run late. However, that is where some customer service skills come in but clearly this company has none. Their events are so disorganized! They tell you repeatedly to remain in the main hall and wait for announcements but after the Q&As and autos start, there are no more announcements to come so then you will have to go scour the halls and ask people if they know what time and where an event is being held and the answer is usually “I don’t know.” When I say run behind, I don’t mean 10 or even 30 minutes. I mean HOURS and NO ONE knows ANYTHING! So then you miss the event that you paid money for. However you can’t be reimbursed because they just say that it’s your fault you missed it. I sat in that main hall until the cleaning crew kicked me out, no it wasn’t my fault and I shouldn’t have to search and hunt people down to ask where an event is being held and the volunteers should know what is going on or be able to point you in the direction of people who do. Simple as that. Oh, and don’t dare ask questions. Your emails and DMs go unanswered. You can ask in the Facebook groups or on Twitter but your post/question will be deleted, so will you, but only after the brown nosers have attacked you first. Also search on the BBB website, Interstellar Productions our of Florida, there’s are reviews there as well. Many fans are still waiting from 2 years ago for refunds. They also will heard you through like cattle. You have zero time to even smile hardly. And if you think you will be able to get a personalized auto because the 500 people in front of you got one?? Hahaha, nope! At any given moment they swoop in and ok, that’s enough. We no longer have time for those. They are rude and very unprofessional. I will never give this company another dime of my money. Until they are shut down, I will tell everyone I know my story and what a horrible company this is. Need more proof? Look to Twitter!
I have to say that this is one of the most poorly ran companies I’ve ever dealt with. Aside from it being a really great experience with the stars, the faculty is extremely poor. My favorite part is how excited I was for the greys anatomy convention, but they have ignored every question I’ve tried to ask. I have Facebook messaged, responded to their questions on IG stories, commented on IG posts, emailed. NO response and all I have simply asked is nice and easy questions regarding the convention. No wonder people talk so poorly of this convention, the only thing they are worried about is One Tree Hill. So much that they preached about ending the conventions just to get a ton of fans there to then say the conventions aren’t ending. Just money hungry if you ask me.
EyeCon staff is some of the most friendly and helpful staff in the entertainment industry! I love getting to know them and spend time with them whenever I can attend events. As well as communication in between events! Very on top of things!
This company needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. They keep their reviews so hidden, you have to really search the web to find these, but I’m glad I did because everyone should know what they are getting into when they purchase tickets for an eyecon event. I have gone to 4 conventions of theirs, and at each one there have been issues. Nobody is perfect, and I get that, but the way they go about resolving a problem when it is brought to their attention is truly unacceptable. I have been to cons where volunteers have screamed in my face for simply asking a question about something I paid good money for. I’ve had to email incessantly and demand a refund for money that is rightfully mine due to cancelled guests. Unfortunately, I’ve seen there are still some people waiting for refunds for certain events from 2 years ago! They don’t like people to hear this though, so they will delete you from Facebook groups and block you from their Twitter if you have anything negative to say. They only leave up the comments that praise them, and it’s deceiving. Nothing is ever their fault, and they’ll do just about anything to place the blame on somebody else. I think people would have a lot more respect for this company if they actually took responsibility for once, but instead they choose to remain unprofessional and treat customers with little respect.
I have never experienced a convention company that is so poorly organized and where the owners treat paying customers so horribly. After attending several conventions with Eyecon I would never attend another one and would never recommend them. Nothing ever runs on time. Their staff and volunteers have been so rude to not only many paying customers, but also actors of the show that they’re doing conventions for. When there was an issue with an actor and sexual harassment, they just swept in under the rug. If you have any issue with how your photos turned out and need to do a retake be prepare to be yelled at by a volunteer like I was. If a guest cancels be prepared to wait weeks for a refund (if you’re lucky to even get one) because they’re not automatically issued and you’ll have to send 20+ emails before you get a response. I’ve also never experienced a company where if you have a valid issue or complaint they will block you on social media instead of addressing the issue. Long story short, if you’re thinking of attending an event with them stay far away.
Eyecon is one of the most amazing companies I have a had pleasure to do business with. There convention experience is like no other company. They care about their guests and are quick to respond to questions. They are also very happy to accommodate any guest to make there experience as good as any other guest! I would give you 10 stars if I could!
I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and disorganization before attending an eyecon event. After spending hundreds of dollars (thousands after a few events), prepare to be met with unanswered questions leading up to the event, and rude staff and volunteers at the convention. They never answer their emails, and their volunteers at the event dont know what is going on half the time, providing wrong information. And if something gets cancelled? Well good luck trying to get a refund. The customer service from this company is truly abysmal and I deeply regret spending my hard earned money and time on their events. Keep your money safe and stay far, far away.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I attended 3 eyecon conventions and each one was worse than the last. For all 3, I have spent thousands of dollars on this company. They treat most of their customers with little respect. If you have a question, don’t bother asking because 90% of the time, you won’t get an answer. They always claim that if you have a problem, bring it to someone’s attention. At the last one I attended, I had several problems, and went to find the person in charge. I was left waiting outside in the hallway because nobody knew where she was/couldn’t find her. The few staff I was able to find were condescending and rude (with the exception of one staff member who really did seem to care). I was nearly brought to tears out of frustration. You pay so much money to sit in a cold room and watch random episodes. I could do that for free at home. Then when it’s time for your photo ops, they rush you out of the room after 2 seconds. They also promise refunds for things cancelled, and then you never see your money again. If you ever bring a problem up to them on social media they either divert the blame to somebody else, or just delete your comment all together because it makes them look bad. There is a reason their Facebook reviews have been disabled. Just do yourself a favor and think twice before you buy tickets.
I have never in my life seen a CON company operate this poorly in my life. And a con it is. Stealing money from fans, having empty promises, and hiring disrespectful and disgruntled employees only scratches the surface. They are dishonest, scheming and vendictive in the highest degree. Honestly thankful they will no longer be doing any more One Tree Hill conventions because they have made a mockery of the fandom but even more sad, themselves. Please, if you value your money, spend it elsewhere. Throwing your hard earned money in the trash is a better use of time then attending any eyecon event.
Greatest convention company ever...run by the sweetest people ever. #eyeconfam
Best convention around, everyone treats you like family!!
Disorganized. Shady. Long waits with nothing to do. Volunteers not properly trained and have no answers to your questions. Dont give them your money.
