We had a blast here. I have 3 young not so great swimmers yet, and I felt like the lifeguards did a great job keeping everyone safe. They have a good size pool, a spray pool thats only 2ish feet deep with a walk in entry. And a lazy river to go tubing on. We will definitely be back. It was pretty busy this weekend, but if was also free admission.

Do you want to have a chill fun time with your kids or friends? This is the place for you. Super friendly life guards, concessions workers and environment. Theyll answer any questions that you might have. The only thing you have to worry about is a kid running in to you, but even that is quickly handled by the life gaurds. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Awesome water park! Fun, friendly staff, clean park, etc. One guard that stood out in my mind was a guy named Hunter. He seemed to take his job serious as every lifeguard should. Always kept his eyes on the pool and on all the patrons. Me and my family had a great time!

The facility is adequate; however there arent enough shady areas for those of us who prefer not to develop melanoma. This was my first visit and it was absolutely awful. Patrons of color were routinely singled out for any number of reasons. A group of young black boys were immediately targeted upon entry and treated harshly for their entire visit, despite the fact that they were acting no differently than other patrons of the same age. My party had several unpleasant experiences with the lifeguards and witnessed several more. One particular lifeguard, Hunter, is a problem. He behaves more like a police officer than a lifeguard. He is very arrogant and seems to only notice infractions or problems when they involve people of color. Similar infractions committed by white patrons were largely ignored or went unnoticed altogether. As this is a public, tax-payer supported facility, this behavior is particularly troubling. When brought to the attention of administrators on site, their response was even more troubling. One literally tried to hide from us, not once, but twice, and the other remained completely silent, offering neither solace, nor apology. If this were a private facility, Id make it a point never to return; however it is a public facility and all patrons should be able to enjoy it equally, so I will return, if only to be a watchdog and call out racism and discrimination whenever I see it. I encourage other patrons of color to do the same. If you walk away, the bigots win and youre still paying for it with your hard earned money. Demand respect, demand equal treatment, and take to task anyone who treats you otherwise.

It was decent especially for the price but they’re a bit strict. The concession stand was closed all day and the slide was closed most of the day, when they finally opened it they closed the lazy river and wouldn’t let the children on the slide without passing a swim test. They then said that the kids couldn’t take the swim test cause they had already had been given a life jacket so that really upset the kids they were really looking forward to going down the slide all day. The kids seemed to enjoy the day but said they didn’t want to go back because the lifeguards were rude and had too many rules.

Monday’s were not as crowded and I was able to get a lounge chair while we were there and the weather was perfect!Several lifeguards were on duty and all were vigilant in performing their duties to keep the children safe. There were infants and teens in the kiddie area, but it was not overly crowded. My grands are from Florida, Next summer we will definitely come back!

I do not return. First they do not accept debit cards and you find out in the entrance, after you finished the file. there are no announcements for you to come prepared. the policy of the swimming test seems unnecessary to me, every father who becomes should be responsible for his children and not forcing children to use life preservers, I saw many children crying because they were forced to use it. Too many people, tje administration should control the number of people who enter. and the slide was closed and they give no reason why. first and last time. Thanks

The facility is very well maintained and is great for kids. The lifeguards are friendly, attentive, and obviously take their jobs very seriously as they enforce the rules as they are stated and do not tolerate nonsense. For all the good the lifeguards do, other patrons still can spoil the experience. One particular patron, whom i discovered to be named Hayley Figueroa, was particularly rude and hateful towards most people who met with her. I wouldn’t reccomend that she be allowed back into the facility were I in charge there.

My family and I visited this pool Sunday hoping to have a fun day in the sun. We were unfairly treated by a cashier who was acting as a manager. My family and I went down to the lazy river to relax, as we was next up the “manager” Angela Queen was speaking to my father in a rude tone. She told him to back up to the marking that said one and he politely said well ma’am I’m literally the first person in line I don’t see why I have to back up no one’s in front of me. Keep in mind there’s a life guard right there and the lady who we eventually found out was actually a cashier. The life guard adds in saying that she’s one of the managers which was a lie. So the “manager” is being very unprofessional, my dad being my dad matched her attitude. And said that he’ll just contact the supervisor and she tells her government name in a loud obnoxious way. My family and I continuing to wait and this man hands my dad the tube so he took it of course and the “manager” snatches it out of my dad’s hand almost having him to fall. My dad does have back pains so that put a strain on his back.We feel we were mistreated and that our money went to waste because of the customer service. We will not be returning unless something is done about her attitude. We deserve an apology. She shouldn’t have handled the situation like that. If we had went to the ymca I guarantee we would not have been treated that way.

They had a fun splash pad like middle area, a lazy river, a huge typical pool area and a tots area with a small river looking system to play with boats. When we went I had 2 kids who are considered non swimmers and had to wear red bands(my daughter didnt want to take the swim test at first). They are required to wear life vests which is fine, but I wish I would have known this before so I would have brought our own. Also if you are a parent to multiple kids with red bands and you are a single parent for this outing you will not be able to use the lazy river and probably not the pool since you need one parent per child. The kiddy area was down when we went which is why I ranked it much lower. I feel like we payed to do a splash pad which we could have easily done for free at a park since we were unable to do anything but the splash pad. But it was nice you could bring in a light snack from home. Also FYI once your kid passes up the opportunity to take the swim test they will not let them do it later on. It has to be done immediately when you get there. It is a pretty rigorous test as you have to swim across the entire length of the pool and then tread water for a minute immediately afterwards.

I am definitely not coming back here. You HAVE to bring a swimsuit or you can’t come in even if your not swimming. If a kid is under 48 inches an adult (18 or older) has to go in with each kid. So if you have two or more kids over 48 inches and there’s only one adult only one kid can go in.You can’t bring goggles with the nose piece that covers the nose because “it’s dangerous”When I came here the slide was down but I’m not sure if that’s normal or it’s just this time or what. They don’t actually have anywhere for little kids to actually swim. The shortest the pool has is 3 foot 6 inches but any age and height is allowed in the pool but they don’t have it where a kid could touch the ground. They do have a little splash place that the water is 1 and a half feet and under but it’s not a place to swim.At least the kids had fun but I’m not satisfied at all.

Ok so here it is this is a wonderful pool. It has so much great things!! BUT there is going to be lots of kids getting hurt if they don’t do something about the little kid area! There needs to be strict rules that no one over the age of 8 or 10 maybe to be on the little kid area, my kids got pushed down, held under water, and kicked by all the big kids that were in that pool that shouldn’t be in it. The pool needs to offer times before opening for younger children only so they don’t get hurt!!! I will not go back until that is resolved. The pool itself is great, but there has to be a better way to do things

Fun afternoon! There is a fairly large spray ground-a pool-and a water slide. For families to note: limited shade. 15ish lounge chairs and around 30 regular ones. Also, wish we had known that ALL kids must wear a life vest unless they pass a swim test. The test involves swimming the entire pool without touching the ground and then treading water for 1 minute. If they can’t pass this test then they can’t go down the water slide and I saw some pretty upset and dissapointed kiddos! Also, the lazy river was closed and it seemed like it often is. CASH ONLY!!

Someoneheard lightening, but no one else seen it, had us waiting for over an hour! Ridiculous. Also, understaffed and closed the lazy river. This place is becoming a place many are saying, including myself will not be returning to. Lifeguards have a big head complex because they are young and think they have power, people there are rude in general, turned out to be a good at first, but will never return again. Another added bonus is that your items are not safe, you leave them and someone takes off with them... We have lost two pairs of goggles on this trip being stolen and a brand new beach towel. There is also favoritism that happens because I was told no sandwiches, but others were eating sandwiches left and right. Very bad place to come to for something new... SMH

My daughter has very sensitive skin and she has to wear a t-shirt over her swimsuits with sunscreen to keep from getting burned. I only allow her to do water activities in short increments. This water park will not allow her to wear her T-shirt over her swimsuit to protect her skin. The splash pad by Bolton park does allow this to keep her from getting burned. I suggest children with special skin needs go to the splash pad at bolton park. They are more considerate of this need.

We went today (06/09), we got there at 12:30 and stood in line for 50 minutes. I have to say, that was the only thing bad about our experience! The park was short staffed today due to some of the life guards being seniors and graduating today. That slowed down the process of getting in and the lazy river not being open. It was most defiantly worth our money and time standing in line! I have a 3 year old and 1 year old and they both LOVED the kiddie section. This will defiantly be a continuous thing for us ! The entire facility (pool, bathrooms, landscape, parking area) was very clean.Tips:-CASH ONLY!!!-NO sandwiches, they check every bag!.. I am unsure why you cannot bring sandwhiches in, but it’s an absolute NO.-If your child states they can swim, they must perform a swim test. They swim all the way across the pool and back in a certain amount of time. If notpassed, they have to wear a life jacket.-Every child that cannot swim, HAS TO wear a life jacket. . Even an infant, from what I saw.-Get there early for a chair!-Consession stand food was very reasonable!

I want to start with the park itself. It is great! Plenty of area for young kids to play and fun things to do. The park does seem to be short staffed though. They finally opened 30 minutes after they were supposed to. Then closed the big slide 30 minutes after they opened. The head life guard that was on duty...not professional and is not a people person. The only other complaint is that there were children running up the kids waterslide and pushing past kids to go down the slide rather than wait their turn. Which is what kids do...but I never once saw a parent or a lifeguard stop this from happening. Definitely worth a visit though and hopefully they will get the staffing situation under control. Oh, and trying to make a 1-2 year old wear a paper bracelet is also a little rediculous. Clearly they are not old enough to be in the deep end without a life jacket. I dont think that bracelet makes a difference. Probably should let that go.

The small slides finally opened after we were there almost 2 hours and it was a mad rush with way too many grown kids acting crazy and pushing their way through the little kids to literally slide down a baby/toddler slide. My 3 year old could hardly go up the steps without getting blasted by the water guns by again, grown kids. Every lifeguard we asked had a different answer for us. There needs to be restrictions on the age of people allowed in the kiddie pool, it was ridiculous. I’m sure it’s because the bigger kids wanted something to do since the bigger slide wasn’t open. Ok so this place is a very nice aquatic park in the hood! I & my children enjoy it when its not overcrowded & when everything is open. They have a regular pool with water slide attached at 3ft pool drop, kiddie water playground with slides, 2 mini water play areas, & lazy river. However 3s from me. When we first came it was $3 for adults & $2 for children which is good but the water slide wasnt open & the lazy river wasnt either. Then we came the nd time which was fathers day and it was beyond packed, and great fully the water slide was open which seemed like the only spacious place to and the only place where the water was cooler . But the lazy river still wasnt open. Then they ended up shutting the pool down & idk whymaybe understaff, and idek if they opened up the lazy river then but I hope they did cause it was too many ppl to just be trying to crowd in the kiddie area. But I ended up wanting to leave because of the overcrowd . Also the pool only goes to 6ft (barely) so the swim test rule is pointless to me. If the lifeguard puts a life jacket/float on your child they may not go down the waterslide. So make sure you ask about the swim test️
