This place was so much more than we were expecting - including being greeted by Adam and Paul. They shared a great deal of information with us, and even personal stories of their own Polish families and experiences. The greatest point of interest for us was the amazing collection of Catholic church pieces and information, located on the top floor. I want to say we stayed a good two hours - there was so much to see. Will definitely stop in again next time we are in town. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Winona!

Small museum but very nicely done with some neat collections. It is designed to remember the country from which many Winona came. I was there for Apple Fest (1st Sunday in October) when they all gather for Polish food, dance, music, games, etc. Delightful event!!

I am so glad we spent time at the Polish Cultural Institute. Connecting with history is important to me and the PCI does an excellent job. The employee we met was very welcoming and spoke to the history as a connected part of it. I really enjoyed viewing the Hussar light cavalry armor. The enlarged pictures of everyday life were a close second. I truly recommend spending time here.

What an unexpected treasure! We had never been before and decided to stop in. It was absolutely amazing and our guide was wonderful. Were not Polish and wasnt sure if it would be that interesting, but it was fascinating, especially the history of how and why the first Polish immigrants came to Winona.

A surprising amount of polish artifacts and history inside. our tour guide was a very relaxed, passionate, and knowledgable person that helped me and my girlfriend learn more about both polish and kashubian culture around winona and in poland. we highly recommend checking out the museum for an hour or two and donating to help maintain the vast collection

While visiting here with my brother I was shocked with the amount of information and artifacts available which told the story of the Polish settlement in the Winona area. Dont hesitate to ask questions of the curators because they are very well informed folks!

I always learn something new every time I visit the Polish Cultural Institute. Father Breza is a walking wealth of information regarding anything Kashubian or Polish. The gift shop also stocks a nice selection of Boleslaw pottery and Lubiana plate sets. Friendly folks and of course the rich and vibrant culture of Kashubian Polish on display is always a treat! If you visit Winona, you have to stop here!

A treasure trove of information and historical artifacts for anyone of Polish background or anyone that has an interest in the American immigrant experience of the 19th and 20th centuries. Make sure to ask for Father Paul Breza and stop by the gift shop! When you are done here, try out the Winona Historical Society down the street.

We enjoyed our visit, but it really is set up more for Polish people themselves, not really for outsiders. As Im not from the area, it was more a weird window into what Winona is.
