Amazing place to come with your family! But be ready to stay for a 1-3 hours depending on what your doing there. We picked something more tricky to paint and my 5 year old took all of 3 hours to finish. No complaints though, this is a great place!

Brought the kids here for Fathers Day. It worked out really well. The variety of pottery to paint is huge. Some functional, some silly, all wonderful.The staff was that perfect balance of helpful when we needed it, and distant enough to let us enjoy a family moment. They also have a lot of non-ceramic art projects you can do, so Im sure Ill be coming back here for wonderfully keepsakes. Took about a week for the glazed items to get fired, and be ready for pickup.Very conveniently located on the walking mall in old town Winchester. Great to grab lunch, and then go get artistic!

I recently held a corporate team building event here for 40. Everyone had an amazing time. Emily and her staff did a fantastic job of managing our chaos!

Our pottery painting outing was so fun! Our guide was sweet and creative, and she didnt make fun of me when my painting took on a cotton candy vomit feeling. They accommodated our scheduling and made sure we had a delightful time. Take some friends and give the Polka Dot Pot a shot!

The polka dot pot is really fun! They have many different things to choose from to do. I have only done the pottery painting but I have been back several times. You just paint whatever piece you choose and they put it in the kiln for you and its ready in one week.

We have been to this place several times now and every time we absolutely love it. Theres always a different assortment of things to paint whether its whimsical to practical. That people that work there are always ready to lend a hand if you have any questions or want any help they are right there but they also give you the freedom to create

Exciting and fun pottery class building, pick your own clay figure, then glaze it and decorate any way you like! Its so much fun to do with friends, the instructors are patient and kind !! Its so much fun!!

Amazing staff, they are full of knowledge and charisma. Even though this was our first visit it felt like going over to a friends house. They have so many things for the eye to see. What a great place for an interactive date night or group gathering. Definitely will be going back!

Low key relaxed and informal...at least on slower days. Might be a different story during school breaks or over the summer.

This shop is so much fun! There are a ton of different pieces to choose from to paint with glaze and have fired. Ton of glaze colors to choose from, so no matter what piece you choose, you can make it 100% your own!

I took my kids on a rainy Thursday and had a great time!!! The staff who was there was friendly and helpful and didnt mind that we ran over on time and she had to stay a little later. (although I try to not inconvenience people this way ever) she was great! I would definitely go back again and the location on the old town walking mall is perfect!

We had my daughters birthday party at The Polka Dot Pot. It was such a neat place to have a kids party. Staff was super helpful and accommodating, we could not have felt more welcome. Highly recommend The Polka Dot Pot for both parties and just walking in for a fun activity!

This is the best kept secret in Winchester. It is so much fun, young or old, male or female. Seriously you can make a priceless heirloom within an hour. The staff are great and knowledgeable. I love the place!

LOVE Polka Dot...this is great for all ages....everyone gets to be creative and learn something new! The ladies are patient and always ready to help!! For 10-20 bucks and an hour of your time, you get to make a one of a kind gift and have fun while doing it!

I have visited twice in the last year. Once for a unplanned walk-in visit and wonce for their special themed Harry Potter event. Lots of ceramics to select from. Prices varie depending on what you choose from plates mugs banks figurines and even lightshitch plates and ornaments..... if you are near the Winchester area and want something cool to do.... check out the Polka Dot Pot....

I called at last minute for a party of 11 and they managed to fit us in! That meant a lot to me! My whole family enjoyed it, from the oldest down to the smallest member of the family. A place where we will visit regularly ! Thank you ️

This would be a really great place, BUT if you come on a night that the old man is working, he will spoil all the fun! He was grumpy and flat out rude when people would ask questions. He wouldnt let the kids use more than 3 colors on their pottery, and he wasnt kind to the kids either. Come 5:00 (we had arrived at 3), he tried to kick us out and not allow us to finish our pottery (which was only a few minutes away from being done). It stinks that one bad employee can ruin an entire expeience. Next time i will go to Hands to Create in Front Royal, where the workers are friendly!!!
