Love this place. However the owner or manager petite chic and her husband are pretty standoffish. Not quite rude, not quite snobby, yet something extremely unlikeable. If there were a similar non chain pet store within 40 miles, they would probably loose my patronage. Just sayin..

Today was my first visit and I was surprised that only the young woman was wearing a mask while two male employees were not. The young woman was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the small fish I wanted to add to my pond. Thank goodness she reminded me to get fish food. Hopefully these little guys will feel at home under the lily pads. I really wanted to give three stars for not having masks on but the lady was so nice and I didn’t have to get near those men so it worked out.

Best pet shop. They are a great resource for birds, fish, reptiles and small animals. They have the healthiest hamsters, fish, and bearded dragons. It is our favorite pet shop.

Love this place!!! The employees are very knowledgeable and super helpful. I never have to worry when i go here, the prices are the best around as are the products. All of the animals are well taken care of and Ive never had an issue!

The best place for aquarium enthusiasts and our favorite pet shop!Unlike chain pet stores that carry a limited variety of common fishes and supplies, this pet place is filled with a wide variety of fresh and saltwater aquatic life. Fish, corals, plants, shrimps, snails, everything.Ive gotten lots of fish and a variety of shrimps from here, and they all have been super healthy. This is the place I trust for a knowledgeable staff and healthy stock.They also have small mammals, some birds, an impressive reptile section, and dog and cat supplies. All the animals are well tended. Everything is always clean and they look bright eyed and healthy. We love the variety of dog treats, and they have fancy dog cookies beside the checkout counter that are perfect treats for special occasions.

We love it here. A tad bit pricey, but totally worth it for the quality. Amazing people.

Has a large selection of birds, fish, and reptiles. They also have cages and food for these animals. These photos were taken a while ago in 2019 so these fish and reptiles might not be there anymore at this time.

I’m a lizard lover! The bearded dragon babies they’ve had over the weeks look worse as the weeks go by. I bought one of them to take home with me but I can’t save them all. They leave large crickets in their cages they are bigger than their head. Clearly can’t eat it. So as the weeks go by they get skinnier and skinner and the bugs are still free roaming all around the cage all through out the day probably biting at the beardies. They do not know what they are doing when it comes to these lizards. Poor little guys. Shame on the pet store for allowing idiot run the lizard department. I’d also like to and in their store mascot abbey the parrot looks depressed and her feathers look super unhealthy.

Very nice and pets looked well kept and healthy. The prices are fair on the pets and pet supplies. The staff is very informative and honest when it comes to pet care. Also, they offer a 30day warranty on pets. Unlike, most other pet stores that only give you 5 to 14 days. I look forward to doing more business here. Especially when it comes to adopting some more pets.

The tanks arent set up properly most of the time and Ive bought 2 of the $43 power outlet timers that dont work properly from there. I get shorted on feeder insects half the time when certain people are working. Looks odd trying to count out my crickets and dubia roaches. not only that but they give horrible advice. I think there are 2 people that work there that are knowledgeable. They all try to be friendly though!!

I went here to look at their fish selection and they had the worse case of ich that I have ever seen in my entire life.... it looked like someone dumped sugar in every tank in the building.... they have an awesome selection but if you put those fish in your tank you can kiss them all goodbye.

Friendly knowledgeable and great selection of items. The staff are easy to talk to, love to answer questions. They carry salt water fish, corals, fresh water, turtles, beta fish, birds, snakes, lizards, rabbits, hamsters and of course all supplies.

Amazing selection of pets, from reptiles to fish to rabbits, they have it all. Varieties you cant find in other pet stores. Wish we had one near where I live.

This place is awful if you want any help or information. Tell people they can cohab bearded dragons, so much terrible husbandry advice and when I inquired about the lighting he was recommending (low uvb) the employee said “I breed them so...” I wish this was a one time experience but I’ve over heard terrible reptile advice far too many times. There are individuals that are very good here but if you are new to reptiles do not take the chance.

Great pet store, especially for aquatics! Very knowledgeable staff. Only issue was the lack of masks being worn by customers. I decided to not stay the second time in bc there were so many people ignoring social distancing and wearing no masks.

Its clean and takes care of there animals well and I bought a bearded dragon and I always get his crickets from there! Compared to most places there cheaper! But thats all I really focus on. I dont know about other stuff just there bearded dragons so I dont know how good there cat and dogs supplies are!

After learning more about the care and traits of the snakes we were able to make a more informed selection - and the boys couldnt be happier!

This place is great. Its located across the street from Costco and close to the veterinarian. Everything you need for dogs, cats, reptiles, your aquarium, your terrarium, or any pet really. Even the pugs out there. Super convenient location and friendly staff with great customer service. I like tuttles.

My fiancé and I visited yesterday for our 1st time ever, and was amazed by all the animals and stuff they had in stock. We ended up leaving with 10 fish and were very satisfied with the fish, as well as the customer service we recieved.

I love it here. The staff is always super helpful and knowledgeable about the animals for sale there, and you can tell they care where each animal goes and wants them to find a family thats a good fit. The cages are always clean and animals all look healthy and cared for.

The animals here are really well taken care of. Just bought three bunnies at two different times. I bought them off of two different salesman and I assured the second that I had all the bedding and proper food and cage space for the two rabbits I had bought the next day. He went over several times just to make sure I had everything I needed to care for them.

Great place to get stuff for your pets an pets are welcomed in the store. Yesterday their was a saint Bernard puppy in their. Everything you will need for any pet. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. An especially vast selection of different reptiles. The only place left around to buy live feeder mice/rats. The only thing I would take a half a star for if I could is the smell. But hey it is a pet store with lots of animals to be played with and handled so I guess you have to expect that.

This is by far a Gem in winchester if your looking for small to large reptiles they have them! Tarantulas, Scorpios, Frogs Turtles a hell of a selection of tropical fish, Goldfish their saltwater selection is nice many supplies too many to name. The folks I talked to were very helpful. I was at the shop to get some new plants for my aquarium, and they really helped me pick what would be best with my aquarium setup.They also have a huge variety of fish available, both freshwater and marine. The shop is clean, and offers supplies for a wide variety of pets.

Huge fish, fluffy bunnies, an iguana the size of my arm. The vast selection here makes me skip my local Petco and drive an extra 20 miles. A bird said hi to me. Got us a lively teddy bear hamster, It chewed through the box before I got home and rode home on the front seat.

Having 4 60+ gallon aquariums, 2 lizards and expanding this is the only place I know I can trust the quality of the pets and the level of knowledge. My brother and I are forever customers and trust every word they say. I would reccomend anyone go here and buy from them

I love this place. Everytime I have an issue with my fish tank or my other small critters they help in every way they know how. And if you have a water issue in your aquarium, just bring them a sample and they can diagnose the problem right on the spot. They also dont talk down to you like large chain pet stores tend to do! Keep up the good work guys!

Really nice pet store. They let their parrots out of their cages to roam the store. The parrots and parakeets are really friendly and will come up to you. The employees really try to sell you stuff though. I went in just to look at the pets, and every few minutes someone would ask Do you need help getting something? or something like that. I didnt really mind it though because it showed that someone always would be available if you needed anything.

I am supposed to go in and ask somewhat silly or hard to answer questions and on multiple occasions they have provided me with great answers and kind responses. The store is always clean, and they offer a great range of products. At the time I went I was looking for a product out of stock and they let me know when it would be available again without having to search for answers. Great staff very knowledgeable on animals and their store highly recommend!

Havent been in awhile. Took our almost 6 month old. She absolutely enjoyed it here. Every staff member is helpful and friendly. Great to see this place thriving after so many years. When I was a little we got many a fish here and thats been 30 odd years ago.

After calling ahead, discussing the fish options, and talking to two associates about recommendations, I was told my purchases would not be warrantied because I purchased an additional type of fish that might not fare as well. I accepted the exclusion of warranty on that fish, but they nullified it for the entire purchase, despite all the other fish being purchased at their associates recommendation!Update: my fish are all still alive, so despite the customer service, I recommend the aquarium.
