One of tge few parking lots for tge Brandywine Creek State Park and the adjoining First State National Park. Although there is a fair amount of spaces, it fills up fast due to the popularity of the area trails. Need a State Parks pass to.park there. The rangers do check up.on if you have on or not.Should have a pay box on the parking area.
Great spot with easy Brandywine creek access.(Kayaks in at Brandywine River Museum, out at Smiths bridge)Super busy, ended up parking further up the road.Lots of trash left behind at end of day :(
Nice picnic area and access to the river for swimming, wading, and tubing
Cheap for DE, not the worst for PA. Car will be safe here
Nice place
