This was the first, and Im sure the last, visit we made to this ballpark. The whole experience was disjointed. When we got to the gate we asked if we were allowed to bring camping chairs inside and the employee taking tickets said he didnt think so, which would have been fine but as my husband started walking to take them back to the car another employee said we could have them. Okay, weird that all your staff dont know your regulations but alright. So we give the guy our tickets, go in, and try to get a drink. We get some attitude from the staff there because we dont have wristbands. Uh, okay, what wristbands? You have to go to some other guy to get those, which would have been helpful information to receive at the gate. We were there for a group event and were supposed to be in one of the two GA areas. We asked maybe 3 employees if they knew where our group was supposed to go and none of them knew anything about it. This ballpark is not that big, how is their staff not familiar with a large group that will be there that night, or at least with where large groups usually sit? The real prize of the evening though was the vegetarian meal option included in our groups rate. Thats the photo included, it was a patty with no bun and no utensils to eat it, just some ketchup and mustard in the bag. It felt like they were just checking off a box that they had offered a non-meat option but if this is how youre going to do it, dont. Treat those who choose to not eat meat the same way you would treat anyone else, because this was embarrassing and unacceptable.

Southern Sign Company has had the pleasure of working with the Wilmington Sharks & Carson Bowen for several years now. Whenever we get a visit from Carson here at the office, he immediately brightens up the room! We always enjoy working with him and look forward to our involvement each season. As a family-owned and family-oriented business, we have a great appreciation for our local community and enjoy supporting the team with whatever they may need. A big Thank You goes out to the whole entire team (both players and administration alike) as we look forward to the upcoming season. Go Sharks!!!

Had a wonderful time watching the Sharks play the Fayetteville SwampDogs!!! Attended League Night with Town Creek Dixie Youth and am very impressed by the experience. Youth players were invited onto the field for the Star Spangled Banner which was an unforgetful moment for each of them. Mr Tom Lamont and Casey are friendly, organized, and go above and beyond to entertain crowd. Our family will be regulars from now on and encourage other families to attend. Tickets are inexpensive and ALL seats are great. The players were most impressive. Very patient and friendly with youth. I congratulate each for their great attitudes and sportsmanship.

Great venue for baseball. Sharks staff did an awesome job of keeping the crowd engaged. Great time there, make sure you catch a game next season.

They need their own or a better stadium / park to play in. Not the best seating unless you get behind home plate. Nonetheless I had a blast.

If you are in Wilmington and have not been to a Sharks game, you need to drop what youre doing and go! This is a great atmosphere for family and work gatherings. Alyson and crew are also super involved in the community and go above and beyond each and every day!

Dont have a majoe league team near by. As a fan of the game going to a Sharks game is great. This team is not just a baseball team, they are a community team. They give back locally and are great entertainers at every game.

Do you enjoy attending quality baseball without all the overpaid players?Coastal Plain League (CPL) baseball is available in Wilmington, North Carolina during the Summer via the Wilmington Sharks. With players from all over the country coming to Cape Fear and showing off their talents BEFORE GOING PROFESSIONAL, this is your chance to see these athletes while still amateurs.MUST SEE AND ATTEND!

Great atmosphere to see a game. These are not professional athletes in a major league park folks. These are college players improving their game to hopefully reach the next level, or at least play against some competition from larger schools from higher ranking conferences. We always have a great time.
