If you dont have a pass, they will treat you like a dog even if you are a resident. They dont even tell you how to get a pass. Beautiful beach, awful people.

Patrol don’t let swim on the beach! Unbelievable... you can only enjoy lake view with two kids in 2020, who are sitting home because of COVID-19. Very helpful in this time...and sadly

For a beach that you have to pay to use it was incredibly filthy. So much garbage all over the beach. All members of staff that we interacted with were extremely rude. There are cleaner beaches in Chicago!

This is a paid beach. 10$ per person and 20$ car parking. There is public beach on right side.

A nice beach, but very expensive - Parking, plus 2 adults and a 1 child was $55! They must be crazy. Its about half that if youre a Wilmette resident. Also the swim area is not very deep, adults can stand about waist-deep throughout the entire swim area.

Wilmette has a great new beach house. Beautifully designed to fit in with the natural environment. The first annual beach bash was held yesterday and it was fantastic. Great food, drinks and band.

After remodeling looks very nice. Paid entrance to the beach and paid parking. Suggestion for the beach - please create 2 separate swimming zones: for kids and adults. I don’t understand why adults have to swim in the same depth as kids.

Its a nice beach and nice little park area to walk around in next to the beach. $6 to get in for residents, $10 for non-residents. But they have a part of the beach on the right side, right next to it that you dont have to pay to be on.

I like the beach. The food was okay but needs to be larger quantities for the price. Also they need a larger fryer because they can only cook one small order of fries at a time.. yes one order! The lady who took your order needs to be talked to about how to address customers. I found her to be a bit rude. There is a free side you can go to where you can bring a cooler but you cannot go into the water. Its great if you plan to go to hang out and tan. The paid side you cannot bring any food onto the beach but you can go into the water. There is also kayak rental and standing board rental

Beautiful beach with clear water but expensive for non-residents. Good thing its open for non-residents the first place. :) Parking is $15 and you have to be early in a morning on a weekend to get a spot. Entrance is $9 per person kids and adults equally. Get ready for lots of restrictions strictly enforced: no coolers, no food, no drinks just to name a few.

Its a nice beach but pretty expensive.. Visited on May 29, 2016 Sunday.. Weekend parking $16.. Entry fee was $9.50 (non residents).. After 6pm its $4.. We went there around 5.30, so waited to get the passes till 6.. Without a pass you can walk around the beach(strictly walking).. If you wanna sit, lie down or get into water, you have to get the pass.. Monitored by lifeguards.. And yeah, no coolers, food or drinks (they are strict about coolers), we took one, a lifeguard informed us that we are not supposed to have it and he waited till we put it back in the beach house.. You can bring your coolers and leave it in the beach house, play in water and get back to the beach house to eat and drink, and REPEAT ;) we also took a grill, which wasnt allowed either.. They have picnic areas where they give access to their grill, picnic areas can be booked at the beach house for $15, should leave by 8 pm though, so plan accordingly.. Beach house closes at 8 pm and beach at 10.30 pm for public.. If you wanna visit often, you might as well get a season pass, beach only access to four is $106..If you are not planning on swimming or playing much in water or if you can take care of yourself you can walk a bit from the beach house, where you can enjoy the beach without paying and I was told there is a free parking close by, but you have to be an early bird to get your spot..

20$ parking + 10$ admission per person. For what? For example admission in Grand Canyon National Park is 35$ per vehicle including its passengers for a period of 7 days. Im not playing volleyball or do kayak, im not swimming cause water now is too cold. So to pay for two persons and parking 40$ just to sit on sand is ridiculously expensive.

Private beach for Wilmette residents but you can pay a small beach admission and enjoy litter-free excellent environment much better than Chicago beaches.

Do not go here! This beach charges $20 for parking and then $10 per person for using the beach. There are a lot of mansions in the area, hmm I wonder why it costs so much...

North end of park has massive construction underway. Not sure if south end ok now. Lake level very high so lots of beach erosion along the lake. Almost no beach left at Ravine Drive in Highland Park.
