This is a very nice and calming park. The trails are easy, they have a playground, pavilion, multiple picnic tables, and a fire pit. I love this park and come here when I want a nice, relaxing walk.
Whereas the trail is a rather small circle with a few loops here and there, its a nice place for a stroll. Once you cross the stream, things change. The stream is mostly shallow and is easy to cross. The local beaver population helps by constantly felling trees, so you dont even have to get your feet wet if your lucky. A few steep hill sides are around, but venture away from those and you run into thick vegetation complete with pickers and spines. Some of these plants reach around 4 feet tall, sometimes higher, slowing all but the most equipped to a crawl. To add to this it turns to a thick mud, possibly up to your ankles. Usually dry in the summer though. An incredibly fragile ecosystem, so use caution with litter, and appreciate the beauty with pictures. One of my favorite parks to go way off the beaten path. Possibly the best for the thrill of discovery.
Great 1.3 mile looped walk in the woods. Well maintained Lake Metropark with restrooms and huge pavilion for picnics.
It is a quite place with a nice canopy cover for an easy wooded track to run and walk on. The people there are nice as well.
Nice trail along a small river. There is a small playground also.
Beautiful and well maintained trail with a one mile loop, close to the highway so you can hear cars driving by occasionally. Nice park tucked away in Willoughby, definitely recommend!
The park is clean there is a really nice fire pit and patio area, the trail is very well maintained, there is an abundance of wild life, the only down fall is there is a highway very close but you cant hear the cars once you get past the connector trail, I come here every day after work. 10 out of 10 reccomend
Easy 1.36 mile loopShady cool pavilionsLots of refuse receptaclesPurrel avail all over parkGreat for dog walking
Longer trail, beautiful woods and brook scenery
First time stopping in this park and was very impressed. Had no idea it was such a hidden gem.
Nice place for a walk away from all and not far away
Hidden gem of Lake county and willoughby. The 1.6 mile round trail is perfect for some time outside in nice weather. The playground and campfire is good for families with small children. There’s a pavilion for family gatherings. A lot of parking and public restrooms. Beautiful area and great place to see the fall colors
Beautiful woods. Loud highway sounds.
Great place to go for a run or a walk and not get lost.
It is an absolutely wonderful place to enjoy the sounds of a wild freeway.
Heavily shaded park with a 1.15ish mile loop.
Mostly flat trail and about a mile long, great for running.
This is such a beautiful park with great amenities. Love that the park is open until 11pm. Took a refreshing night hike!
It was a very beautiful, clean Park with a very nice pavilion, a big fire pit with 2 benches. There are lots of trails to follow. Very Serene!
Beautiful park. Great place to walk your dog (on a leash). Enjoyed very nice trails. Loved this place.
Very nice park set in the valley. Walking the creek looking for frogs and crayfish on s beautiful day was a good time. Nice trails, facilities, pavilion and playground for the kids.
It has a playground and bathroom
No fishing. Water too low.
Beautiful trails.
Uniquely diverse flora, lots of wildflowers, butterflies, dragonflies(&damsel-flies!), and birds, and a fire pit! (firewood is provided)
Usually pretty quiet. Nice place to walk/jog.
Great nature Park great picnic area oh, good for hiking or running or just a nice leisurely walk. Heavy woods, water area, walking and running paths, nice bathrooms
Awesome little trail
Gully Brook Park is a great park except for the fact that it has lots of mosquitoes. Very fun park, just got to go with the right time of the year.
Great park. Wish those who go to the park would clean up after their dogs. But that is not the parks fault.
Serene walks or family fun this is a little gem in the valley. Cool in the heat of the day. One drawback is the freeway noise for those not used to it.
An absolutely wonderful place to listen to a freeway.
Nice secluded park with pavilion for events!
Great little hidden park away from the crowd and bustle of some other parks in the area..
This is a very nice park to go to on a nice cool day. The scenery is beautiful and it is well maintained.
Beautiful park with a great hiking trail for beginers and older people. Takes about 35 minutes of causal walking to complete the largest trail.
A wonderful park to take the family for an afternoon.
Nice shaded trail to walk on a sunny day.
Perfect for seniors or senior dogs. Well kept and mostly flat - just over a mile. My 12yr old dog loves this place as its easy on his joints. Great for short walks/workouts and never too crowded.
Not impressed.
Great place to walk dogs. Easy trails. Beautiful park. Only issue I have is the amount of trees being cut down without explanation.
Smaller park located near the highway. Has a nice playground with swings clean bathrooms. There is also an open pavilion with fire pit and firewood. Small river is running through this park. Really beautiful during summer and fall season.
Well maintained, updated, litter free. Bring the bug spray!
Great place to walk the dogs, sit at campfire, or have a picnic. As long as you dont mind hearing the freeway nearby.
Kinda spooky without the leaves, kind of loved it.
Has a couple pavilions and trails. Not a bad park but in comparison to others nearby doesnt offer much
Amazing views. Creek over hang to sit and listen to water trickling and relaxing
Cool place
Nice little park. The playground was fun and the restroom facilities were fairly nice for a park. The bugs are a bit of an issue here because the park is carved out of the forest. There are standing trees and fallen timber all around and it just felt like there should have been a bit more open space.
Pleasant place to enjoy a quite walk
Nice play area and they even have bathrooms!
Excellent for walks!
Very nice park, very clean they have dressed up the sidewalks and walkways in the place where you do not get muddy.
Beautiful park with a lovely trail along gully brook. Lots of birds and other wildlife. A couple of great swamps along the trail. Good playground for the kids. Nice quiet park!
Very nice could use a sign or arrow pointing to the shelter, we passed it on the way in asked hiker who pointed us to it
Easy access .nice walking trail.
Beautiful wooded walking paths along the creek. Lovely playground equipment for the young ones
Big family friendly fun. We shall be bo
Nice views and great jogging path
Great solid walking path. Lots of space and shade for hot days.
Its an enjoyable relaxing park although I enjoy the trails I wish that it would be easier to get down to the brook and fish. Speaking of fishing what type of fish besides creekchubs do people catch because once I saw a fish about a foot and a half long! Im not sure what it was but it had a sort of greenish brownish tail. Im not sure if it was native to the brook and I thought someone could have possibly released it in their.
Great park since they first opened it. Nice walking trail and the brook is calming.
Season - Went in midsummerLength - About a mile and a half circle trail that bisects in the middle if you dont want to go the full length.Upkeep - 5 stars - A pristine trail. Very difficult to find any garbage. No overgrowth on a nice white stone path. There is standard pavillion, grill, play area for kids, bathrooms. There was a cool fire pit area with wood already cut for general use.Location - 2 stars - Biggest complaint is it is right next to Interstate 90. Half the trail is filled with car noise pollution. However the park is easily accessible.Scenery - 3 stars - Tall thin trees allow for some gorgeous views deep into the woods. It was mucky/muddy in certain areas which could detract from the scenery. Not much diversity in color in Summer, all greens and browns. May be much nicer in spring or fall.Wildlife - Saw a few birds and butterflies. Trail legend pointed out spots to see owls but I did not see any. Mosquitoes are everywhere. Bring bug spray.Overall the trail is well kept and flat, albeit boring and noisy. If I lived near it I would jog it all the time. However, it is not worth a trip to see. Biking it would be boring. Not much room for exploration either.
To 1of my favorite places to go talk to my son
This park is beautiful, it has clean bathrooms, a lovely pavilion with 2 grills, a little campfire area and a huge walking path. Very well maintained, I feel safe and its beautiful!
A beautiful (easy to medium) walking trail. Great for puppy walking and wildlife watching.
The best easy and quick 1.3 mile path.
Nice easy loop
It is a fun park. Ok playground and decent walking paths
Beautiful place!
Nice, small park. Playground with swing set. Restrooms. Shelter with real wood burning out with wood supplied. Paths in woods for walking.

Enjoyed a quick fall family hike at this nearby park. A little close to the freeway, but a great quick getaway for families. Clean and well kept.
Nice for a short walk
Nice even mile trail with decent park.
Very swampy, it will be a breeding Haven for misquote.
Great path to walk thru woods.
Such a peaceful place to walk and reflect... One of my favorites
Year round open bathroom, fire pit and great spot for a picnic. Playground suitable for younger kids and a lovely walk through the woods.
Gorgeous! We saw four deer.
Easy access and trails are generally dry with crushed limestone paths. In the gully you are more shielded from windy conditions. Clean restrooms, playground and fire pit.
Beautiful, quiet, out of the way park.
The trails here are nice and flat. It also has flush restrooms, playground and a pavilion. Keep an eye up and you may see an owl.
Heated bathroom.running water..nice mile walk! Or if want can take the .5 mile.
This hidden park offers tons of fun for the whole family. The trail is clearly marked and never really overcrowded.
Gullybrook Park continues to be my favorite place to go when I need solace and quiet time!
