Whoever designed the layout of this building never played with legos or Lincoln logs (meaning they have no knowledge of basic architecture). Whether it’s feeling like a canned sardine in the locker room, having to walk further than should be necessary to reach the pool, or simply trying to deal with the free weights (the setup is laughable), it’s all very frustrating. I’m not even sure why I’m paying this place a monthly fee.

This YMCA’s SilverSneakers program is beyond my expectations. I have swam in both pools, but mainly in the Competition Pool. The weekly scheduled hours are very accommodating. Eventually I will be swimming with google and snorkel to be able to swim more laps.I have a scheduled orientation to learn how to use the fitness equipment to alternate between swimming and aerobic exercises such as the thread mill during my three complementary coaching sessions.Thanks to this YMCA I can continue to strive for better personal fitness while socializing with county members.Respectfully, J.Perez

The staff was super friendly, the building is brand new and beautiful. My daughter and I can’t wait to enjoy our membership.

YMCA phone system is horrible, cannot get a hold of anyone. Everytime you call it goes to voicemail and says leave a message then hangs up. Freweights

Watch your bank account!!! Canceled my family membership last September, but they continued to take out their monthly payment. Went into the Willoughby branch in January to have it refunded - got bounced between multiple people before it was actually refunded. Today I was looking at my bank account and realized they had once again started taking their monthly payments out!!! Yep, I didnt sign anything - hadnt gone since last August - yet they started taking payments out again!!! Come on YMCA, you are better than this! This is fraud. Called them, but the number doesnt work because theyve moved - wont reopen until the 19th. I will be once again talking with corporate about getting my money returned. Seriously, if youve had a membership with the West End YMCA at some point in the past, I would HIGHLY recommend looking over your bank statements - doubt I am the only one. Unreal frustrating!

First off, Anita at the reception desk is fantastic! She really made it worth my visit. I got a visitor pass to check the Y out. It was nice and cant wait to see the new location!

This would be a five stars but the basketball courts are always closed but every thing else is greatttt!!!!

My 6 yr old daughter got hurt in the swimming pool had scratches and bleeding on the leg. When I ask for first aid, they didnt have a proper first aid facility in their premise. Nobody cares about. I dont recommend anybody to such a careless and unorganized facility.

Love this YMCA! The staff is amazing! Very welcoming and helpful. The group fitness classes are awesome and really make you sweat! And the many options of times are Great for a working mom!!

First time here with my daughter for 7 weeks,she was done,the teachers never told me anything what level or send an email.So disappointed! Not going anymore.

Love it I go their with my kids 3 times a week they love it too and everyone was nice. Nice and clean pool and activitys for kids and kind and helpful teachers.

Great place to work out and play basket ball. I wish they had more open swim and open gym hours, but this is one of the better YMCA buildings in the area.

Avoid at all costs. They refuse to let you cancel and try to steal as much money as possible. THIEVES

Its nice. Lots of programs and a wide range of times. 5am Kettlebell or cycling to 8pm water jogging. Most members and staff are friendly.

Was Treated So Poorly By a Woman Named Lisa Borrow! Very Disrepecteful, Mean, Nasty Just Plain Rude. The Staff are YMCA Workers,Not the Police...Never Been So Discriminated Against Embarrassed In front of My Children. Horrible Staff, Shame a Great Facility.

It has been a nice environment since I have been here. However, we all have our days.

Staff are awesome here, and the classes are great. The building itself sucks. Its got lots of stairs you have to climb in order to get anywhere. Dont bring your stroller!

Before me and my children even got to walk in this ymca to workout, the ladies at the front desk gave us such a hard time. I felt like we were being discriminated against and I know I was not wrong. We felt highly unwelcome and they gave us very bad vibes and were mean. It was so much that we had to end up leaving and will not be coming back. If youre at ANY family program for people of all ages, shapes, sizes and race and dont feel welcome then its not for you.

Excellent service, better facilities than most gyms, very new, very well maintained, not too crowded when I come in the afternoon. Its the right exercise place for me!
