Love history. The tour and program there was put together well.
It was really nice. Everything was closed because of COVID but my kids still enjoyed the history and the sites.
Its super interesting kid friendly, informative near the confluence so thats cool.there is also the oldest Masons lodge next door a boat launch and just down the road from a cool fort.check it out .also nice potties and one of the oddest cemeteries I ever saw.so well worth the trip and hope you had as much fun as I did
Great place to visit and learn history. We also took advantage of their free RV camping. Rockin Boondockin.
Walked around the exterior... didnt pay for the inside tour.
Great historic stop with many interesting exhibits. Guides are very knowledgeable and great at explaining the site and its details.
Visiting Fort Buford was a great experience and an informational learning experience. I enjoyed the tour and all the relics being able to see in person.
Got to meet some of the soldiers and stand in the same room sitting bull surrendered very friendly people that take the time and walk you through on your own private tour
We were headed to the Missouri-Yellowstone confluence and decided to check out Fort Buford too. It is awesome, an unexpected highlight according to my husband. Super friendly staff gave us a quick run through of the museum, even though it was closing, and encouraged us to walk around the grounds. Very cool. So significant.
In our travels my husband is in to visiting fort and battle sites. We chanced on this one in route to a national park. Well worth the stop. This is an 1866 military post and the people who man this site are very knowledgeable.
The landing/dock is good. Parking is plentiful enough for paddlefishing.
Love this place. Beautiful and terrific historical site. Friendly staff.
Partly restored. Interesting history board. Nice ladies giving you the narrative.
The guide was very knowledgeable.
Cool site, with a lot of history. Worth the $5 to see the original officers quarters where Sitting Bull surrendered and the reconstructed barracks are neat to see.
Great historical representation.
Where sitting bull surrendered his rifle the staff is extremely knowledgeable
Got married here 15 years ago. It will always be the most special of places for me.
