Community Arts Center

Beautiful building! Such history and ornate beauty in this performance arena. Excellent acoustics. We just saw Fiddler on the Roof and the performance was so amazing that my 10 year old daughter was almost in tears over the spectacular performance. I wish they would have more Broadway-style performances. We would definitely come more often.

Should one comment on the location or the shows? The building is absolutely beautiful!! It has restored, the staff friendly, and the seats comfortable(with the exception of the balcony seats - your knees will be around your ears! But you get what you pay for up there!) As for the shows - I will not comment (you can fill in the blanks.) If you are in town - go to a show just to see the place - well worth the visit!

I dont know if seating was any better down below (I was in balcony) but an airplane has more leg room. A lady a few rows in front of me stood most of the show. My husband had end seat and stuck his legs out the end. Lounge was ok. But I might not go back unless I knew seating was better in main area.

We were here a few years ago to see the Mythbusters Live show. We had a fantastic time. The building is amazing and a perfect venue for a live performance. The views, seats and acoustics were great.

My Fiance and I seen The Little River Band, we had a perfect evening! It was an awesome show! We also Love the beauty of THE COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER!!

Beautifully restored historic theater. The decor, wall and ceiling decorations take you back in time and the venue made an amazing setting for the Post Modern Jukebox concert we saw!

Went to see Arlo Guthrie & his daughter Sarah. Excellent! The volunteer staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great older venue. Comfortable seating. Have a system for moving people in n out. Long lines at rest room on breaks. Enjoyed the show.

We have to support this center. We are so lucky to have this kind of place in our town. How about volunteering to usher?!

Uptown Music Collective was GREAT, kids did a great job bringing the music of Billy Joel and Elton John to the stage!

Went to see Josh Turner! He had an excellent show but was disappointed to see they allowed alcohol consumption among the fans? Some we getting a little annoying? There was also a couple of fans that stood through the whole show without regard for the person directly behind them who also bought a ticket and would have liked to be able to see the show also?

The facility is beautiful, the volunteers are amazing, and the play, Once was spellbinding. The programming here though leaves a lot to be desired. There used to be a huge selection of events every year and now this is only the second show I have been at in 2years. I wish whoever is making the decisions would not assume that we want second rate shows. Just because this city isnt as big as Philly, NYC or even State College it does not mean we will not spend money on quality events. Elmira, NY is worse of than Williamsport and The Clemens Center has a much stronger calendar than the CAC has.

Ive been there several times. Easy to find, parking is all around the area, not right out front, but weve managed.The inside is in great shape. Seats are very comfortable. There was always lots of employees to get you to your seat.I hope they advertise more and get more bigger name performers there, like Jerry Seinfeld, who was there a couple years ago. Blue Man Group was awesome!

There was a lot of chaos in the facility. I made my first and last trip there as I was treated quite rudely by the staff for not understanding their particular protocol. I have been an avid concert/theater/show patron for 20 plus years and never have I been this insulted.

Always a fantastic time! Acoustics are great. Building is beautiful and bands sound great there.

The seating is terrible. Only a small child can fit in the seats. The person that decided how much room each person has is an idiot, and I was in so much physical pain I went and stood in the lobby. There was a group of us standing in the lobby for over half the show. Never again.

It was a great show by the Junior symphony orchestra and WSYO

We went to the community arts center for the 13th annual Skip Hunsinger program. This was my first time at the community arts center. I was really impressed the theater is beautiful, theyve preserved the old school theater feel and brought it up to somewhat modern times. I definatly look forward to more shows and events here.

We always enjoy an evening at the CAC. The staff and volunteers are top notch. The after hours crew are heros, as they assisted us in locating an item that had been accidentally left behind.

A friend of mine invited me there for a concert. It was a surprise I didnt know it was foghat, they still sound great!

The seating is a little tight, but the decor is very nice. Ive seen several shows here and always have a good time. Great experience. Also the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This establishment has been a special place for a very long time and nothing has changed awesome night again with the Uptown Music Collective group of kids. Tom was smiling looking down thinking good job kids - Rock On - never back down.

A play thats been presented many times over the years. Timeless. Had some difficulty hearing Meredith. Think it had something to do with table placement. Other than the play, best part of the evening was the shuttle service. Under advertised, but was great!!

Love to see old theatres preserved. Beautiful details.

This is an absolutely gorgeous setting for the fantastic display of theatre arts. Its Baroque architecture will steal your breath away and the performance quality is brilliant and professional.

Beautiful local venue with rooftop bar. Decent variety of shows; just wish they could get some bigger talent.

Comfortable seating and more importantly, the temperature in there was perfect Not all would agree, it was 82° outside, so a nice cool 68,69 was warranted by me ! And the layout of Arts center makes it easy to view the whole Interior.

Beautiful place!! Great acoustics and lighting. Performed in Tuba Christmas last year and had a wonderful time.

The history and visual aspects of this building are absolutely wonderful....the artistic embellishments of the theater transport you to a time when theaters were lavish and the place to be!

A wedding cake of a theater. This beautifully restored theater is such a treat to visit for plays, concerts, movies, and other types of events. The bathrooms are large and spacious, with plenty of stalls. The coat check area is easy to access. The second-floor lounge is modern and offers great service.

It is very beautiful inside and the shows that they show are excellent. Plenty of parking.

Very beautiful place inside. Lots of history. Nicer than some in New York City. Lycoming College had their Annual Music Department Gala last night. Fantastic, they went above and beyond expectations. I wish the choir sang longer. Bravo to all departments.

This is a beautifully renovated theater with remarkable nice staff and volunteers. Weve seen some great shows there. Free parking is close by and good local eateries.

It is nice to have a location closer to home to see shows. Cinderella was great.

The Community Arts Center is the Jewel in Williamsport, PA. For the past 9 years, I have hosted the Liberty Classic Community Band Festival there every October. Musicians come from 24 states and Canada to perform in that magnificent venue.

Came for Penn Tech graduation, what a beautiful venue! Ornate light fixtures glowing from the ceiling, carved and painted woodwork, and plush theater seats hearken back to a bygone era. Ushers were friendly and helpful in directing guests to restrooms and their seats and the event itself was lovely.

Concert was fantastic! Seats are very snug, but everything was nice, clean and easy to get in and out. Great evening!

Very nice theater!! It has two floors of seats and the art work in the ceiling and walls are absolutely beautiful! Every show I went to see had nice sound and you can hear it from any where you go. They put on nice shows and movies.

Spectacular went to the art Center to watch my daughter preform in district chorus the center pulled me right in the ambiance set the perfect mood for a most fabulous performance very enjoyable bravo!!!

We saw the Russian Ballet perform Sleeping Beauty. The ballet itself was awesome but the Community Arts Center certainly is a great venue for a small personal experience. Its what a small city arts center should look like and treat its patrons like. I enjoy visiting here.

Always look forward to shows here. Theres not a bad seat to see the stage. Balcony is tough for taller and larger people. Staff are all mostly friendly. Lounge upstairs is nice before the shows.

Beautifully remodeled theater in classic style. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Sound quality in some sections could be better but it is a fairly old facility, sound technology has advanced since it was constructed.

No matter what the reason is that you are there the building itself should be enough to make you want to be there the structure and detailed art of the building are amazing and I would recommend for anyone to go just to see the building also staff extremely friendly and professional I am looking forward to Future visits

The Williamsport CAC is one the few places which hosts well known acts/shows in the nearby area. The theatre is well maintained and has a historical feel to it due to the architecture and decor. Be sure to plan ahead for parking, as there is no lot designated specifically for the theatre, and garage/lots nearby require a small fee or are restricted.

This place has great shows. It ha discounts for students wich encourages people to take their kids to the shows.

Excellent theater. Staff is great, seats are comfortable, and its easy to find. Parking can get tricky, but the parking garage is only two blocks away.
